Breakfast was great, rooms clean and everything was really nice, only problem we had was they had 3 elevators and only 1 worked. Having 7 floors meant it took such a long time to get to room or to leave. But other then that was a great place

A beautiful space! Lots of fun game and social options. Beautiful laundry room. Large gym. The breakfast especially the taco bar was a win! The staff was so kind and helpful! I was ready to move in. Had everything I needed and more! Also could walk to so many restaurants and shops and grocery store! Right across from our favorite museum as well.

From the minute we walked in every thing was great. From the people that checked us in, the room was nice and clean. There was a manager’s social in the evening with drinks and snacks and then the breakfast. When we were leaving I told my wife that this is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in, in years. There’s a little game area, bar and convenient to everywhere we had to go. We said we’ll be planning more trips to Columbia and be staying here. Thank you for a great experience

Great location. Everything feels new. Plenty of close parking (paid by app $12 per day/night). Have a bar that serves food in the lobby (5pm to 10pm); great atmosphere but they need a wait person to help the bartenders. Too long a wait for food and drinks as the 2 bartenders doing it all were slammed. Will stay here again.

parking is a pay on an app system. Confusing at the least. Not charged until the end of 24hrs So you never get confirmation if you are paid or not. I was worried my car would be impounded

Very clean and well decorated lobby. They also had surprise wine and beer evening with soup and salad. This was very nice. Room well set up and very comfortable. Nicely done breakfast and coffee area, plenty of room to accommodate lots of guest without feeling crowded. Only complaint is the $12 parking fee, that should be part of the hotel nightly cost. Overall would recommend and I would stay there again.

Clean, new hotel. Love the hard wood floors in the rooms. Downstairs has a lot of amenities. Staff was very nice and willing to help meet your needs. Will stay again!

The hotel is immaculate! Everything is so clean and new. The breakfast in the morning was delicious!!! Definitely NOT your typical free breakfast! Had many hot items including a breakfast taco bar that amazing!

The staff at the check in counter were excellent. I did not realize when booking they charge $20 for overnight parking. Upon entering the bathroom the toilet had been used and not flushed. It made me wonder if any cleaning had been done since the previous guest.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I’ve always chosen Hilton for reliability and comfort, but this stay was a major disappointment. Upon entering my room, I discovered a roach, which understandably made me very uncomfortable. I had to request a room transfer. In addition, I originally booked a two-queen bed room but asked if I could switch to a one-bed room. I was told there were none available, only to hear staff offering a one-bed room to another guest moments later. When I asked about it, I was told it was because I had booked through a third party—this felt unfair and dismissive. To add to the frustration, the coffee station offered cold coffee, which I had to throw out. The one positive part of my stay was the overnight staff member—she was extremely kind, helpful, and genuinely made an effort to greet guests by name. Her hospitality stood out and was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards I expect from Hilton.

I believe we were the first people to stay in that room. The view of the sunsetting over the river was absolutely amazing. The phone in very clean room, did not work and I did not ask to fix it so late in the night. My son and I wanted some midnight snacks so we tried to get room service but could not due to the phone.

The visit was fantastic with location and comfort. No coffee pot in rooms, so be warned that you may want to bring your own unless you are okay with the lobby. Elevators take a while if hotel is busy. Breakfast and service in the mornings for breakfast was amazing!!!

Had a great stay at this Tru location. Room was nice and everything was clean. Staff were friendly. Only issues I had was the remote to the tv needed new batteries. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone would not dial down. Walked down to ask and they said someone would be up shortly, but I never got the batteries. The Samsung TV did not seem to have buttons on the tv and I looked and pressed everything, just a power button. So I had no TV the 3 days I stayed, which wasn’t a huge deal. The on site restaurant was ok. Not a huge selection but good for a quick bite if you don’t want to go out. Breakfast was great both days. The gym was really nice and had a good selection of equipment. It was kept very clean. The room is very modern and cozy. Standard basics are provided like hair dryer and iron, shampoo, conditioner, etc… As for noise from neighboring rooms, it is minimal. I could hear a baby crying twice during my stay and occasional mumbles or very low TV. Nothing that really disturbed me. I use a sound machine to sleep so it covers up noise easily. Other than the TV little snafu i enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Property and all spaces are excellent. Close to many restaurants and shops. I guess I missed something but, my room didn't even have a clock or storage for clothing. hanging clothes are right in the living area. I survived but, I wouldn't do it again.

I've stayed at so many hotels in Columbia during my daughter's 4 years at USC. Just moved her in for graduate school, and this was my favorite. Everyone raves about The Graduate, while it has its charm, I enjoyed my stay here far more. The hotel felt so clean and everyone (except perhaps the front desk guy who checked us in late at night) ywas incredibly nice and accommodating. I've stayed at most of the nicer hotels in the downtown and Harbison area, and though Tru is considered a no frills brand, I thought you were exceptional. One of the best free breakfasts we have ever had (amazing carnitas!) Best part of breakfast was this wonderful couple that was working the breakfast area. They were so friendly, fun and helpful. We felt like this woman was our personal waitress. We felt so well cared for for our entire 4 night stay. Hoping to stay with you for her graduation in May. Unfortunately we may have to find a less expensive option further away that weekend. Keep up the great work!

They need to improve their service. Check-in is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., and even though we arrived at the hotel at 5:00 p.m., the room wasn't ready, and we had to wait until 6:30 p.m. to get in. However, the delay wasn't compensated in any way even though we asked to check out a little later, it was denied. We asked twice for the used towels to be replaced and received no service.

Normally, I would not give any hotel all 5 stars in every category. However, this hotel deserves more than 5 stars. If i could give this hotel 9 stars i would. The staff was amazing with EXCELLENT customer services. Mrs. Jackie (breakfast cleaning lady I believe that was her name) she was so sweet and funny. The breakfast was amazing and good.

The Hotel was clean and my room was fine. However, my room wasn't available (being cleaned) till 4:30 pm and check in was at 3:00 pm. Then, I sat at the bar for 6 mins with a menu in my hand without help. I moved to a table and still no one even spoke to me for another 8 mins. They weren't that busy! Service was none existant and I will bypass this hotel in the future.

Refrigerator leaked and got my suitcase and clothes all wet. Only one elevator worked and waited a long time to get up and down to the room. Only one staff checking in and waited 20-30 minutes to check in. The breakfast was gross, eggs and French toast was rubbery. They only clean your room every other day and wouldn’t bring us new towels after using all the towels to dry the floor. Only thing we liked was the Starbucks across the street and how large the room was.

Nice property. Centrally locted to restaurants and attractions. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great amenities. Staff was awesome. Only complaint is handicap permits/plates were not excluded from parking charge. However, I will eturn to stay at property again.

It was alright for what was needed. Breakfast had options - but was cold… I think sterno was out. Phone in room didn’t work. AC wasn’t cooling past 70. TV channel guide channels were not correct, were two off. Staff were attentive.
