Sleep Inn Springfield South I60 near Medical District

This was our third stay at the Sleep Inn in Springfield. The staff has always been kind and helpful, and the rooms clean. We will choose to stay at the Sleep Inn when we visit Springfield again.

Hot tub was nice and the indoor pool was to and the breakfast was good staff was friendly

Clean room, decent breakfast

Only complaint is the breakfast area is small and cramped.

Breakfast was ok, not the best hotel breakfast we have had, we ate toasted bagels over the “fresh cooked foods”. One of my older kids burnt herself trying to get gravy and the two ladies working the breakfast area laughed at her inside of checking or helping her. The hotel overall was pretty outdated. Room could have been cleaner. There was something running down the bathroom door in our room, and build up on the floors around the walls/corners. We didn’t see any bugs so that’s a plus. We had higher expectations for the hotel based on the star reviews, instead of a moderate hotel I would put this in the lower category. Outside around the hotel smelt very strongly like weed. Hotel is dog friendly but there is not a designated dog area for pottying your animals outside, they have to potty on the roadside curbs which was worrisome with the amount of traffic that went up and down the road.
