The layout is a little weird in that the lobby seems to be totally disconnected from the rest of the building. You have to go up a ramp in the middle of the building to get to the rooms.

Great location, in walking proximity of lots of stores and restaurants. The building itself isn't the newest however it was pretty well maintained and clean. You do have to pay $10/day for parking at a separate cost from the room. Jabree, who is a part of the hospitality staff was downstairs every morning I was there for breakfast. She was extremely attentive and professional. Making sure everyone had everything they needed and the food was constantly fresh and replenished.

Everything is very nice at the hotel. The only 2 downfalls are the breakfast could have been just a little warmer, but the staff was super sweet. Also you have to pay 10.00 a night to park even tho you pay for your room so that was a big surprise for me. I will definitely stay here agin tho!

First off, the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was nice. They are pet friendly with a $50.00 cleaning fee. The only problem I had was getting blocked in because the end of the back parking lot is narrow. If someone doesn't pull all the way up to the parking curb it is difficult to exit. I had to jump the curb and risk damage to my tires to get out without hitting a car. To add insult to injury, I was charged $10.00 for parking.

Average hotel…not worth what we paid for the night but it was move in weekend at UGA so all the prices were high. Room had an air freshener in the AC unit that I did not care for. Front desk girl was not the friendliest when we checked in. Good breakfast selection. Don’t understand why you have to pay for parking.

I had a great stay at this hotel as it is at an extremely convenient location to UGA, this hotel gave me a perfect midway point to look for apartments to rent around UGA and downtown area. There are many fast-food joints near downtown which you can walk from this hotel. They do charge a hold of $60/day and a parking fee of 10$/day just fyi. The highlight of this hotel is its cleaniness of its rooms and how dedicated the clean staff is at their job when it comes to housekeeping. The complimentary continental breakfast is average, but I overall rank my stay 5/5 here.

Expedia was not clear on their site that parking was $7 per night! And, the quality of the room was not comparable to other hotels charging lower rates. Torn carpet, no shelf or counter space in bathroom, and broken window shade that maintenance didn\'t respond to during our five night stay. No maid service during our stay. We had to empty our own trash, and seek out linen carts to get fresh towels. The breakfast in AM was good, and the hostess/cook was excellent. Hotel, in general, needs a "freshening up".

The accessible room was cramped and smaller than the regular rooms. A blinking light kept me up and I had to put a sticker over it so I could sleep. And I killed a baby roach in the way too tiny bathtub. Other than that, the bed was fine.

The check in was okay but we were surprised by the $10 parking fee. Room was clean except mildew on bottom of shower curtain. Toilet rocked terribly when you sat down or got up. Room had a very Stale odor. Not cleared by running the A/C.

The hotel is convenient and recently updated, but bedding was not comfortable and very noisy all night both nights in the halls. Doors slamming and people yelling well into early morning. Hot water in showers was only warm.

Normally I like Holiday Inn but this hotel was unattractive with a crazy parking lot. Check in took over 30 minutes. The room smelled like mildew and the second bed had crumbs on it. I didn't eat breakfast but I did make coffee and it was a pain. There were 2 machines that made 1 cup at a time and wasn't quick. I can't imagine if it was busy... No coffee for you.

I found the transition between the lobby and 3rd and second floors somewhat confusing and strange. A very narrow ramp to the 3rd floor and stairs to the second. Otherwise the hotel was quiet and I loved the room darkening shade. Nice touch to have choices of firm and soft pillows on the beds. All of the employees were very courteous

Overall a good hotel. Great proximity to UGA and downtown. Friendly staff and clean property. Great breakfast options. My only issues were with my room. There was not adequate lighting options, leaving the room slightly dark. And the heater never really warmed up the room. I hate it all the way up to 80 degrees and was still shivering.

Beds were very comfortable and the sheets were so soft! Parking was very easy and convenient. Great location to UGA campus and downtown Athens (walkable). Free breakfast was nice. The only negatives were the hallway was noisy outside our room because the doors to each room close automatically and it's very loud when they slam shut, and the bathrooms are very small for 2 people to get ready at the same time. It would be nice to have an extra mirror outside of the bathroom.

It was a quick and simple check-in. Miss Jazzy, the front desk person, had a wonderful personality, and she was very knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area. The room was clean and well lit and just a pleasure to be in. At check -out, I would have liked to have gotten a receipt, as this was a business trip, but it was explained to me that I could not get one, since I booked through hotels.com. This was not Jazzy who helped me, but some other front desk person. I found this odd, as I got one from the hotel in Atlanta where I had stayed the night before.

The Hotel was very well maintained!!! The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful . Cleaning staff is extremely polite and friendly. The breakfast ladies were very kind and helpful too. Free , hot breakfast was excellent and lots of variety. Overall Awesome , experience, will definitely recommend and visit again, thanks !!!

I requested a late check out to get rest after an exhausting weekend, physically and emotionally. After being awakened by the cleaning staff talking in the hallway, I contacted the front desk. I heard them being contacted via radio immediately. Afterwards, they completely discontinued their conversation and I was able to get the absolute best sleep. I really appreciate their efforts and professionalism!

We arrived to check in and was told they did not take cash. I had been told earlier that it was okay to pay with cash. There was a very big dance competition taking place for the weekend, that is why we were there. We were more than 2 1/2 hours away from home. It scared me that my child was not going to have a place to stay for the evening. I have never had this happen and loved this hotel chain, but as of now I cannot trust them. It was the only hotel chain we had stayed with for over 20 years. My husband logged on and found a hotel right down the road that was $200 cheaper and just as nice. It also included a very nice hot breakfast.

I’m a regular titanium Marriott person and used to walk in and checking in within 30 seconds. It took over 10 minutes for the receptionist to check in one person in front of me before she could even wait on me. I ask her what’s going on? She said she’s talking to her manager their systems issues!

Overall this is a good value property. You cannot walk easily to downtown Athens or the five points area. Parking was easy and free. There was an odd smell in our room the second night but management immediately moved us to a different room.

Loved the front desk, breakfast was fresh and varied, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only draw back is location. Neighborhood was quiet and not unsafe but walking to bars, restaurants, or UGA I would have preferred being closer or for the area store be better lit. There is a parking fee that I was aware of only from reading reviews.

We had a great stay at this hotel the breakfast bar is the best breakfast bar at a hotel we have ever stayed at the selection is incredible and the staff is super friendly it is a better breakfast than a lot of restaurants in Athens the lemon water in the front is awesome as it was very hot the days we stayed if you're looking to stay in Athens stay here we also had a dog and they were very helpful
