Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Athens, GA

The staff was very, very kind and helpful. The cookies at the front desk were delicious. My bed was very clean. The linens were very clean. The landscaping around the hotel is pretty nice. However, the hotel is rundown and old. It’s in serious need of a renovation. It looks way better in pictures than it does in real life. If you want an upscale hotel that’s semi luxurious, this is not it.

Everything was good. Parking was safe.

The hotel needs some help in the maintenance, cleanliness and food quality standard areas. The room was not very clean. From the window sills to the walls, it had dead insects on the window sills. There was stuff on the walls. (who knows?). The room that we were in as you look out had 4 transforms less than 10 feet from the bedroom window. The lobby has carpet that has many tripping hazard due to in proper installation. (ripples). Breakfast - Communal Milk and Yogurt (Not dated or labeled! In the state that we are from that is a Health Code Violation. The breakfast selection was not the normal from other Country Inns and Suites that we stayed. Staff were enjoying their morning meals taking up valuable customer real estate. The Front Desk staff were friendly and efficient at check in.

Room had a little mildew above vent and tv in living didn’t work. Front desk came to check it out but wasn’t able to fix it and didn’t have another room available.
