Baymont by Wyndham Franklin

You will have a 75 dollar hold to the card you used to pay for your room here. (You will retrieve it when you check out if they don't need to use some of the money for incidentals) But if you pay with cash for a room, there is a 200-dollar deposit you would have to pay as well. Also, the Fitness Center isn't too functional and there's only 12lb, 5lb and 8lb dumbells too. The breakfast you would have to stay alert of as some of bugs could be on the bread and they use processed eggs and potatoes to make breakfast. Just a heads up.

Breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausages, biscuits & gravy and plenty of other bread/bagel and cereral options. Coffee and juice available too. Staff was very friendly and although part of the Wyndham chain it appears to be family run and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. The hotel is a motel style with parking in front of your room and two stories. It's not too big and easy to get from one side to the other. It's in a quiet area conveniently located just off two major roads. No road noise so that's nice. There's a lot of other restaurants and stores nearby and freeway access too.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly answering all our questions. Plenty of parking.

No Laundry facilities. No inside hallway. Breakfast was ok. Not much seating space.

Would not have booked if I had known doors were open to outside and not a hallway. Breakfast area was mostly clean, and rooms were comfortable.

Just a little inconvenient to have to shlep luggage up 2 flights of stairs to get to our room. Didnt see on the description that you enter your room from outside and theres no elevator...otherwise acceptable place to stay and sleep for a night during travel.

Place was good! Very pissed that the pool was closed. I do not understand why companies do this. I pay for a pool that’s where I wanna go. Please let us know before hand that you have no pool open. I would’ve stayed somewhere that had one open

Disappointed in this stay after seeing such high ratings. Room smelled like smoke. Carpet under AC unit was soaking wet. Bed sheets on one bed were seemingly not changed and covered in body hair and crumbs. Bathroom floor needed a broom. We checked in late and were super tired from being on the road all day, so we didn't have the energy to try to switch rooms. It was all we could do to get out of there as quick as we could!

The a/c in my room was leaking water inside of the room, so the carpet was soaking wet. I let the front desk person know and he said that there were no more rooms available. He gave me some extra towels to put on the floor.

The room had roaches,the carpet was dirty,the bathtub had roaches and dirty and hole where shower head pipe went into wall!

The curtains had, what looked like blood stains on them. It wss very noticeable, so lazy of staff to leave them up.

We stayed in room 217 on Dec.6&7 2024. We saw cockroaches in our room on the counter on the night of Dec.7. When I woke up on Sunday morning Dec.8 I had a dead cockroach in my bed. I took photos of it and put it in a zip lock bag which I still have.Also talk about unsanitary there were two toilet plungers set out in the upper corridor breezeway and set there both days we were there. Nothing like walking through toilet water on the walkway. I’ve asked for a refund but the owners won’t admit that they have roaches.

When we walked into our room it was not so clean. It did not look like the room had been vacuumed. The air conditioner was leaking really bad so I asked for towels to put on the floor and the front desk gave me 3 ripped towels to put on the floor. As we sat in our room a roach crawled across the bed and I about ran out of the room. We packed up our items except what we needed for the next morning and put everything back into the car. The breakfast was pretty good and plenty of options. We did notify the fro t desk of the room issues but the host had no apologies nor did he seem concerned so that tells me nothing will be done. We will not be staying at anything that is owned or run by Matka Hotels LLC because we now know they do not care. For over $210 for our room, that was not OK. We travel a lot so we will just stick with the hotels we can trust.

There were visible bedbugs on one of the mattresses. The night manager offered us a different room, which we immediately refused. He was unable to issue a refund and advised us to come back in the morning. The day shift manager did issue a refund for the full price of our stay, which could take up to 10 calendar days because of when it was issued.

Room was filthy. Door was standing wide open when I arrived, and the carpet was damp. Bathroom smelled strongly of stale vinegar. Towels were only partially folded, and thrown into shelving in such a way that I questioned if they were used. Toilet paper roll was nearly empty, and not in a holder. Toilet was constantly running, very loudly. Carpet had leftover grime, crumbs, and a pair of tweezers in the floor. Couldn’t trust the bedsheets enough to use them.

Clean room and bathroom

Pros:HOT BREAKFAST! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, toiletries are above average, plenty of lighting, plenty of outlets to include USB to plug in electronics and the rooms have been updated. Cons: Room doors need adjustment, it doesn't close properly and fails to lock the room. The window curtains doesn't overlap to darken the room and people can look in from outside.

Hotels.com had incorrect information on this hotel. I had to pay to upgrade my room in order to be downstairs. Something hotels.com should have covered. Also, there IS A DEPOSIT required and I wasn't prepared for it. Now, I will say, once I finally got settled in a room with everything functioning (there was a broken TV and then a chirping smoke detector), the room was comfortable, clean, and I loved that there was large bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body wash by Dove. Nice. Water pressure was VERY NICE, and water got hot quickly! I will say the pool wasn't placed well for the property. By 3pm, the hotel shades most of it from the sun. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

The lobby did not have enough seating for breakfast. The curtains did not close all the way. It was noisy.

Pretty quiet location. Rooms are fairly nice for the price. They have the big soap/shampoo/conditioner in the rooms instead of the tiny bottles. Internet is pretty stable for hotel internet. The biggest inconvenience is having to turn left onto Carothers Parkway during busy times of day when leaving the hotel, because there is no light.

My room had 2 double beds. I first tried the bed nearest the bathroom. The mattress was broken down in the center. I think that the mattress should be replaced. Fortunately, the other bed was very comfortable.

Older building, but it has been fully remodeled. There is NOTHING here to complain about. Great value. Great little motel.

The air conditioning unit was a little noisy.

The bed is so comfortable and my husband and I both sleep so well!! The shower is wonderful!! Feels so good!! Room is always clean and also your staff is wonderful and very friendly! And the price is amazing! Thank you!

Air conditioning did not work for the three days that we were there. And staff did not try to address the issue that day. They said there was nothing they could do until the next day and I would have to sleep without air conditioning. When inquired about extra towels, they said that the housekeeper was cleaning the rooms and to go find her. The only good thing about the stay was the bed was comfortable, and the water was hot. Other than that, it was not enjoyable. When I asked for an adjustment to my bill due to having no air-conditioning for three days, I was told there was nothing they could do. I will not recommend this facility.

The property was very clean and staff was incredibly friendly! The only issue we had was someone called from the front desk at 10am the day we arrived saying they attempted to charge our card and couldn’t. This was a pay on arrival reservation and there is no reason why they should have tried to charge my card prior to my arrival, especially that long before check-in time even begins. We were traveling from out of state and didn’t have money in that account prior to arrival, so this was frustrating since we chose pay at hotel on Expedia. Otherwise, the hotel was great! I would just prefer that staff was better trained for reservation types.

The housekeeping lady just walked in didn’t announce who she was did not knock to let me know she was coming in. I let the office know we didn’t need housekeeping and I was annoyed just because what if I was showering or something else. It would have been embarrassing for her and us

The staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was clean. About what you'd expect for the price. The only problem we had with our stay was we at one point forgot our key card in our room. We went to the front desk to replace it, and they replaced it without checking our ID or anything. We just told them the room number and they gave us a key. It made us a little concerend that they might give ANYONE a key if they just gave a room number. So their security practices probably need to be updated. I wouldn't recommend staying here alone, have someone with you for safety.

Very customer friendly!

I stayed March 6 and had a good experience. Then i stayed March 11 and in the morning at 10:19 am (41 min before checkout) a man beat on the door and quickly opened it with a key card. I was laying in bed frozen with fear. He shut the door and took off. Turns out he actually was housekeeping - a young dude who looked like a burglar in a ski cap - and the mgr. was completely ho-hum about it. The whole thing was too creepy and because of that sullen manager\'s "who cares" attitude I\'ll never return.

The Baymont Hotel has the best hospitality in Franklin Tn. Each individual there makes you feel like family.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice area. Staff at the desk were very awesome

The room was great. The property was well-maintained. The hotel staff were pleasant. However, my reservation for a king bed made several weeks prior was not initially honored. After talking on the phone with someone for ten or twelve minutes a king room magically became available. This is the third time in a row this has happened to me at East Indian managed properties. This is not a coincidence. This is a business plan. When I travel I simply don’t want the hassle, period. Honor your reservations and don’t do this to make an extra few dollars. They actually said if I take the queen unit I wouldn’t be charged extra! I have business in this particular locale for the next five years, possibly longer requiring stays of a week or two at a time. These people are shooting themselves in the foot if they want repeat business. Three stars for pleasant staff but engaging in bait-and-switch tactics. This review surely will be quickly scrubbed as they have done when I’ve submitted feedback. Eventually there will be a nationwide exposé on these shady business practices by the cartel behind these properties.

Easy access from the interstate. Able to walk to dinner. Room is clean.

Convenient location

This is an older hotel, which has been updated. The Room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good for the first day or two, but there was no variation in the breakfast foods for the entire week we stayed there. It is conveniently located about five minutes from the downtown shops in Franklin and about 20 minutes from Main St. Nashville. For the price it was a bargain. We will stay there again if we return to Tennessee.

Location convenient to passing through en route to my final destination. Easy access from interstate. Friendly staff. Many various breakfast offerings.

Was skeptical at first after some reviews. Other areas closer to downtown complained of multiple car break-ins. This hotel was a clean and cheap stay for the weekend. Nice staff, nice neighborhood. Easy to access downtown area/ attractions and surrounding shops and eating places.

Breakfast was lacking. Hot items were not hot (except eggs). Nothing in fridge except butter. Basically empty pastry shelf. Don’t waste your time eating breakfast here. Cracker Barrel is right next door. Also, shower didn’t drain while I took a shower. Motel being renovated so expect noise.

The room was fine. The breakfast bar was lousy. Missing many of the items that were supposed to be there. Asked the staff and they really didn't care or refill items.

Room was clean and maintained as such each day. Breakfast menu items were plentiful and varied. Loved the waffles!

The bed and bedding was great but the breakfast room at first smelled strongly of cleaning products, not very appetizing. The biscuits were hard as a rock but when I told them about them instead of replacing them, they attempted to heat them up again and they burned them, setting off the smoke alarm in the entire hotel. I had to skip the rest of my breakfast because the breakfast room smelled so badly of smoke.

Breakfast was terrible. Things that were supposed to be hot were cold. Things that were supposed to be cold were hot. No itemized receipt.

Everything was great; except we would prefer our breakfast food not to come from a microwave! We highly recommend staying here! Thank you.
