Everything was great. I wish I remember the name of the employee who checked us in around 5pm on Oct 7- she was absolutely so funny and welcoming. She even arranged for my in-laws to have a room on the same floor as us. We loved this location for our visit to fort Jackson. Highly recommend it for families with kids as the pool is perfect and the hot tub works great.

Great breakfast, clean pool and hot tub. Beside the amount for the rooms expect a 65 dollar deposit and they are cashless which was a problem for us when we got there which put all 6 of us in one room for the first night we needed 130 deposit and that is when we found out it's cashless. The daytime desk clerk(probably manager) took excellent care of us the rest of our 4 night stay.

The hotel was conveniently located for our needs. However, it was rundown (under maintained). The indoor pool ceiling is about to collapse. The bathtub in our room was slippery. The carpet looked dirty like it had not been replaced over 10 years. Wallpaper peeling. A little paint goes a long way and could make a big improvement. I will say the breakfast was good.

This hotel is extremely outdated. Everything is old and run-down. When we pulled out the couch to make it into a bed… that my young daughter was using, there was no bedding and garbage and candy wrappers everywhere. I had to call the front desk to ask for linens and make it myself, but they couldn’t find one pillow to give me. The shower was ice cold. The water wouldn’t get even lukewarm. The pool area was filthy, the smell of chlorine was so strong that it was burning my eyes as we went in. The water itself was very dark and looked dirty and there were towels sunk at the bottom of the pool. The jacuzzi water was literally the color dark brown. The “breakfast” was terrible. Almost nothing there except some apples, package-wrapped muffins and yogurt. The juices were in a machine and out of order. We stayed for one night during a long road trip and I could not wait to leave the hotel. Very dirty, old and just ick.

8 minutes from Military Base. Very Clean, staff was nice and professional. Beds are comfortable, indoor pool and hot tub, chlorine a little strong but tolerable. Free breakfast was good for hotel. We ate at 6 am left at 6:30 am got to Hilton Field, got Perfect Seats with plenty of seats left for family day. For graduation leave at 6:15 and you will still get good seats.

Hotel is very clean however in need of renovations. Wallpaper peeling off walls, doorframes scratched, needs paint, carpets old, pool closed with poor maintenance. The breakfast was terrible . Sorry but we will not be staying here again.

The main reason we booked this hotel was because it had a hot tub. Unfortunately, it was being repaired at the time of our visit and not able to be used, so that was disappointing. Otherwise, it is a nice, older hotel which was fairly clean and maintained. Breakfast was the usual fare and the service staff was friendly. Would stay here again, but I'd church to make sure the hot tub is working first.

Let me start off by saying the desk staff was very kind and friendly- but this hotel was so grungy and dated. It smelled musty, and I felt like I had just stepped back in time to 1993. I booked for a party of 8 through hotels.com and it split us into 2 rooms. I made the incorrect assumption that my rooms would be connecting since I had several minors with me. Wrong. I am given 2 rooms next to each other floor. Not ideal, but we would make it work. -until we saw the rooms. One absolutely wreaked of cigarettes and weed. So I had to ask for a different room. We ended up on the same floor still, but the room was gross. Hair all over the bathroom counter, toilet, and pubes all in the shower. The lamps had holes, the curtains had holes… it was just… not the standard I’ve come to know at Country Inn and Suites. Do yourself a favor and stay at any of the other 4 or 5 hotels on this block!

The hotel needs a MAJOR overhaul.. worn and cruddy looking and feeling.. bathroom was clean, as were the sheets.. furniture looked beat up… bedspread really worn, carpets (yuck)… in desperate need of being replaced.. front desk gentleman was polite and professional..

This property was not as advertised. When we arrived at the hotel and got into our room there were blood stains on one of the beds. Also, we could not use the pool because it was green and I was told by the manager there that it was because of the pool liner. Anyone who has had a pool knows that a liner in a pool doesn't turn the water green. Both the room and the bathroom was not cleaned for three days in a row unless you put your name on a special list to be cleaned everyday. When I spoke to the manager she was very sarcastic and did not want to accommodate me in any way. She refused to give me a credit on my room or even a full refund. The final straw was the towels in the bathroom were filled with black grease. I highly recommend that you find another hotel to stay in. This place was the most disgusting place I've ever stayed in. Stay away.

This hotel is in bad shape as far as cleanliness. I'm not sure how it received high ratings in the past month unless people were staying in better rooms than we were. The hall carpet is really dirty, and the room is so badly in need of a paint job. It really looks sad and let's one wonder how clean everything else it.

From the front desk clerks to the cleaning staff to those who kept the breakfast buffet supplied each morning, the hotel was excellent. However, those planning to use this hotel should be aware that the bathroom is VERY small. The door barely misses the toilet when opened and the toilet is so close to the tub that there is no room to place the bath mat on the floor. Beds are comfortable but the rooms are not as noise-proof as we would have liked. We could also hear folks talking outside our window from the second floor. The hotel is in close proximity to Fort Jackson for anyone going to see the graduation of their soldier from BMT.

We stayed from July 9th to July 10th and arrived late at night. The woman who checked us in was amazing. She was very quick and warm and happy to help. We got to our room and the a/c was not working. I walked down to the lobby to let them know and she quickly found us another room on the same floor so we wouldn’t have to go back up or down the stairs with our luggage. She was apologetic and quick to resolve the issue and very genuine in her concern. The woman at breakfast the next morning was great as well! She handled a tough situation with a guest like a pro and was very welcoming. You could tell she took pride in her work and area. The room was ok for what it is and what we paid, but we were really just looking for a bed, hot shower, and breakfast the next morning; all which were successfully accomplished by our stay here.

Natasia was rude, obviously has no experience in customer service, I thought she was security the way she walked around mean mugging people and making people feel unwanted there. I feel bad for the people staying long term paying all that money for terrible service I told them to go to in town suites they deserve better! Natasia hates her job! The girl at the front desk!! Beautiful soul!

Affordable and accommodating for our family as we traveled southward to Florida. The pool was perfect size and they provide towels at poolside, something that not all hotels with pools provide. The kitchen and housecleaning staff members were all exceptionally polite and kind. The only improvement we would suggest would be to expedite the check in process. They had only one clerk to check in guests on Friday afternoon, and the back up was close to an hour for many parties to get checked in. The clerk was very courteous and kind, she simply needed some additional help at this busy time.

When I arrived there was a sign at the front desk “I’ll be right back helping a customer”. After hitting the call bell twice, I waited approx. 10-15 minutes listening to the attendant laughing/talking in the back hallway. When she did appear and noticed me, she apologized and quickly checked me in. I was a little annoyed after a 9hr drive. The elevator needs updated. The room was ok. The sink was cracked. Other than that, breakfast was good and staff were polite. I would stay again.

Nowhere on Expedia did it say there was an additional fee that they take and then refund which could take between 3-15 days to refund. Was a nice place for the amount of the booking but not for the full amount I had to layout in order to stay a grand total of 12 hours

Training was taking place with a new night auditor and took 30mins to check in. Informed them that a tv remote was missing from one of the TVs and asked for a blanket. They said they would note the room and bring a blanket. No blanket was delivered.

This hotel is a little outdated but had that country bed and breakfast feel so I liked it. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. I especially like the all time fan option on the heating and cooling unit. The indoor pool and hot tub option is nice as well. The breakfast is hit and miss depending on the day but I really enjoyed the automatic pancake maker. Service is excellent here which is very refreshing.

Everything was good except the free breakfast doesn't open till 6:00 am when other Country Inn's open at 5:30. The hotel is by the army base and we had to be on the base for graduation early. Hopefully they will consider opening the breakfast a little earlier. Also the toilet in our room was very low. It looked like it was a child's toilet. When someone has knee problems it was hard to use the toilet.

I had went down for breakfast at 6:58 am on a Sunday. I was yelled at by Tre an employee who flipped out on me because as she said breakfast started at 7:00am. I was 2 min early and she scolded me. The door was open and breakfast was out & ready. I didn’t realize I was 2 min early. Pls make sure your at breakfast at right time if not staff can ruin your day and I have disabilities It messed my whole day up due to her treatment and my disabilities. I also feel I was discriminated on.

This is a great place to stay for one night on our way to FL, it is very close to 26 as we head to 95 South, and below Charlette. The breakfast is very nice, with pancakes, sausage, eggs, muffins, bagels, coffee, fruit etc, and their pool is an indoor pool, which is nice for kids.
