Employees are very nice, however the hotel shows its age, needs some updating and the odor in the hallways and in my room was pretty bad, my room had a faint smell of stale cigarettes, luckily I carry a can of glade air freshener since I’m in hotels so often. Water pressure is pretty low as well

I love staying at the Drury when I annually go to the conference for women. The staff was friendly and even allowed me to move my check out time to 12pm for free, he advised that a later check out would be $30, still very reasonable if I needed that option. I was in a two double bed suite, the room was spacious and clean. It had a sink and refrigerator in the wet bar. The couch did pull out but I I didn’t need that. The bathroom was clean and I had enough towels for two people. (Theres no exhaust fan so showers can get steamy) and the water didn’t get as hot as I would like but it was warm enough to shower. The main reason I stay here is because they feed you weekdays from 5:30-7 (the kickback) the food isn’t gourmet but it’s very good considering it’s free. Where other hotels are cutting back and giving less and less the breakfast was hot with eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, fruits, pastries, sodas and juices. The kickback is 5:30-7 and they offered grilled chicken, pasta, Alfredo sauce, hot dogs, nachos and baked potatoes.

The room is very small, inside looks kind of worn out, the chair is too low for the desk, have a hard time working on my computer due to that, space is narrow. Overall very clean, just not to my expectations compared to many other staying experiences.

To me, the bed, the air conditioner, the shower, safety, and cleanliness are the five most important things. This hotel did not meet my expectations regarding two of these. Bed was def not all that comfortable--certainly not the best as far as hotel beds go. Additionally, not great for two to sleep in. You could really feel the moves of the other person. Air conditioner did not get cool enough. (We like it really cold, so it might be great for some people.) Shower was fine, good shower head, plenty of hot water. Safety was adequate, or appeared so. Cleanliness of the room was good. Additionally, the breakfast was decent for a hotel. The hotel also offers a small buffet for supper (free!), but we weren't able to try the supper b/c of plans. Great amenity though, especially if you are cost-conscious. Would I stay here again? Maybe. My next trip to Austin, though, I think I will try someplace different.

The Drury is always a great stay. The suite rooms really are very comfortable and compare well to basic rooms at other hotels. The complimentary light dinner and drinks are always such a nice amenity - particularly after a tiring day when the last thing you want to do is go back out.

The staff (especially Jack) are great! Our toilet seat was broken and off … the mattress was super soft and uncomfortable.. the shower head was super short and we had no water pressure .. all in all we had a nice stay. I do think some upgrades need to happen. The coffee in the lobby during breakfast is so good!!!!

the stay was a little pricey but I believe that was due to the events that were happening in Austin this weekend. I loved the complimentary happy hour kick back and breakfast that the hotel provides. I only experienced one rude/incompetent staff member when I had called ahead of time to ask about confirming my stay and making sure the reservations and rooms I had were correct and I wanted to change one of the rooms and inquire about the price and the staff member seemed to not want to help me when I told him I booked through Expedia. I could tell he did not want to help me and it was a waste of my time trying to talk to him. Otherwise, all the staff at the hotel during our stay were extremely pleasant.

Absolutely the best stay we’ve had in a long while. Customer service was beyond outstanding because of Jack! Jack the Front desk attendant was amazing! He provided the best customer service we’ve ever received… and we’ve visited several hotels. Jack was courteous, attentive, friendly, polite, and 100% accommodating. He is a “Jack of all trades!” The room was huge, cold, comfy, and clean! I definitely recommend The Drury Inn in Austin, Texas! Thanks Jack!!!

"I have never experienced such a super happy and welcoming front desk attendant as Jack. I am a frequent traveler and have never written a hotel review before. But the service and the people who work in this place actually seem happy and are super friendly. Because of that, I will stay again and recommend this hotel. This is my first time staying at a Drury Inn, but I will try to book this hotel whenever possible."

The first room, they sent us to, had exposed wiring, and 2 of the lights in the room did not work. The second room they put us in had unmade beds & there was garbage in the room. There were also wet towels on the floor. The third room they tried to put us in, had people in it, and it was occupied. Luckily there was no one in the room when I opened the door. The desk clerk was not professional, not friendly, not helpful, and threatened to call the police because we were upset. I would never stay at this hotel again. When it was the Drury it was a good hotel.

I can’t wait for our next stay. This hotel is so accommodating to families. Daily happy hour in the lounge with lite bites and complimentary beverages. The breakfast is better than any I’ve ever been to at a hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I thought the location was great. It wasn’t too close to the center of the city, but close enough I could Uber anywhere pretty quickly. The room was very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning as well. We would stay here again without thinking about it.

The proximity to the interstate is a bit noisy at times and the parking on Friday required a long walk to the very back. The good news is that the hotel is very clean and very nice! I always appreciate the quality at Drurys that I go to.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly staff, and great attitudes throughout. Also a bonus was hot dinner and hot breakfast which we didn't know about. The rooms were super clean. Being on I35, expect a little highway noise but it really didn't bother us. The room was comfy for a family of 4 adults. Special thanks to Tariq at the front desk! Make him the Drury Brand ambassador! Even late at night he was the same friendly caring person up front. The next time we visit Austin, we will make Drury our first choice

This is our 2nd time to stay at this hotel. We traveled to watch a UT football game with our kids. Stayed here last season and chose to stay again because this hotel is close to the stadium. It was clean, great customer service and the amenities of the hot breakfast buffet and Saturday afternoon meal are wonderful. We’ll be staying here the next time we come down for a UT football game.

If your goal is to be in a place that’s very proximal to downtown Austin or the Domain, then Drury (while not horrible in this regard) leaves something to be desired. There are a couple simple restaurants/diners within walking distance, which is nice, but otherwise the hotel resides in a highly suboptimal location with a decent homeless population. Not the hotel’s fault, and I never personally felt unsafe, but just something to bear in mind. However, all in all, this was an affordable, pragmatic, and overall very nice place to stay. The free breakfast, free afternoon/early evening “kickbacks”…..which are essentially free dinners, and the gym were big bonuses. Staff were very friendly at all hours of the day/night. The place isn’t anything fancy, but it’s well taken care of and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I returned to Austin.

During our travel from NC to Texas, we were treated with utmost respect by the staff at tbis facility. We were privileged to stay in 2 other Drury Hotels in New Orleans and Birmingham. We were extremely pleased with the breakfast offered each morning. The food eas delicious and hot. The 3 complimentary cocktails and food in the evening was an added benefit that we enjoyed eminently. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was an amazing experience—and the price was excellent too. Every evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, they offered what was labeled as a “buffet snack,” but it was actually a full buffet dinner, complete with drinks. Both breakfast and dinner were perfect. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to that offers a complimentary dinner, and the staff was outstanding.
