Great hotel. Efficient and friendly check in - helped us with an issue with our bags. Great room - coffee machine was a little faulty but there is a great coffee shop on the ground floor of the hotel. Valet parking looked very expensive so we opted to park in a secure garage directly opposite the hotel. Perfect location for exploring all of Austin and one block from 6th St.

I travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are lovely and the tub/shower, superb. But the GYM...omg...by far the best hotel gym I've ever come across. The rooftop pool is amazing. The staff is super helpful, housekeeping goes above and beyond. Just wonderful.

Wonderful hotel. Great restaurant downstairs. My only complaint was that you have to valet your car which is pretty expensive and the first day it took more than 30 minutes for them to retrieve our car. Other than that we had a great stay.

Pool was smaller than expected and pretty dirty. We went up to the pool about 6:45 almost 7 and there were empty drinks everywhere and even a menu floating around in the pool lol. Pressure in the shower wasn’t really good. For the money I wasn’t impressed. I really only liked the bar staying open late. Didn’t try the coffee shop cause we didn’t even get acknowledged. And for travelers that aren’t familiar with the area you are pretty much in the dirty 6th when you turn the corner. Definitely was scary to walk around. Day and night.

Centrally located hotel in a good position for exploring Austin. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking was expensive at $59 so we parked in the public car park over the road. Max for 24 hours $38. The gym was good and well equipped. Pool bar only opened at the weekend but offered complimentary drinks. A good list of restaurant recommendations provided on arrival. Mainly used y businesspeople I would say.

We stayed at the Omni Hotel in Austin, Texas, for three nights, and while the remodeled facilities looked impressive, our experience was deeply disappointing due to significant air quality issues. On the third night, we adjusted the A/C thermostat to 67°F and immediately noticed a strong mold smell permeating the room. Concerned, we contacted the front desk manager at 11:35 PM. The manager offered us two alternative rooms and showed us one on the 14th floor, but upon entering, we were met with the same overpowering mold smell. Accompanying the manager was a supervisor named Tiffany, who claimed the smell was due to cleaning supplies running through the A/C system. This explanation seemed baseless and absurd, as we have never encountered such a claim before, and it lacked any credible support. The manager then took us to another room (Room 1214), which was pre-treated with lemon-scented odorizers. While this masked the smell somewhat, we reluctantly accepted the room for our final night. The next morning, we woke up with headaches, clogged throats, and nasal congestion, likely due to the poor air quality. The hotel’s A/C system clearly requires urgent maintenance, including a thorough cleaning of the entire duct system. Despite the appealing remodel, the severe air quality issues overshadowed our stay, forcing us to rate our experience at two stars. The Omni parking staff, the porters and the hotel clerks were all great! I had big issues with the housekeeping department. I could not get my room cleaned while I was at a seminar all day my first day there. The housekeeper did not come by until my return from the conference. The next day I had to call to get my room cleaned. My room was cleaned well but the housekeep failed to leave sufficient toilet paper, so I ended up running out my last day. It may be that the Omni is having trouble hiring housekeepers which is understandable, but it made my stay less than what I had hoped.

Dirty, glass on desk smudged w grease fingerprints. Shower tiles on roof had black mold. No paper or glasses in bathroom. Dresser was badly scuffed. This room was dingy and unkept. I will never stay at this hotel ever, especially for the cost!$$$$

Overall wonderful experience, and very helpful staff. The roof top pool was beautiful, but had no elevator access. It could only be reached via 2 flights of stairs. Walking with a cane after knee replacement surgery made this very difficult, and would have been impossible for anyone wheelchair bound. The rooms were great, but not restocked daily, no soap at the bathroom sink, no extra toilet paper left in room, trash can was left full after the room was refreshed, etc.

Overall it was okay. The shower water soaked the bathroom floor. The bathroom sink water did not drain. I was glad to only be there 1 night. The hotel is eye catching when you enter though and is also in a great area to walk the strip downtown.

There was a roach in the room. Reported it, the front desk said they would deep clean, they didn’t. It was not taken care of and the only thing they offered was a night of valet. They also said the manager would reach out and I’ve yet to hear from anyone. Horrible experience, will never stay there again!

Unable to sleep due to the extreme Saturday night post game street and road noise- Whump Whump car woofers, extra loud “mufflers”, gunning motorcycles etc continued well into the wee hours- even 3 am. I was on 13th floor facing downtown and the racket was really surprising, even that high above the street.

I love how great the staff was. However the room itself was a lil dated. The most disappointing thing were how uncomfortable the beds and pillows were and also the loud ringing noise that would happen at random times. So loud that other patrons would frequently be out in the halls wondering what was happening. It was an okay stay for the price we paid. Also parking situation isn’t great. You either have to pay the city or pay for valet.

We had the Texas traditional suite with balcony. It was so roomy and the view was great. The location has so much within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was so friendly.

Pool bar food was terrible. The room was out of date. The furniture was painted over particle board. The paint was scrapped and the particle board was warped. It looked like the valence and crown molding and the base boards got the same brown paint. Ugly. I’ve stayed at a lot of Omni’s. This one was the worst yet.

My first introduction to the hotel was 0 parking anywhere and the only option was 59 dollar overnight valet, after being on flights for hours we gave up and just did the valet.(tip for future travelers who have a rental car- park 2 miles away in a neighborhood and uber back and forth from the hotel. 5 dollars a ride 10 a day VS 60 a night!) A little more salt in the wound, to pay it literally MAKES you tip online otherwise it won't process your payment. Once getting inside we get in line and the woman (don't remember her name) just stares at me from behind the counter, doesn't say a single word to me so I have to initiate the conversation and say I'm checking in, she immediately asks for a card on file for incidentals without telling us how much the charge will be. She's extremely dismissive and rude during this whole process to the point my boyfriend felt the need to take over the convo. The sound from the streets were so loud it felt like I was having a personal concert in my hotel room. In my opinion, a hotel that charges this much for a night should have sound proofing. The maid service was great! You will have to play musical elevators as only 2 of them go beyond the 14th floor if you're staying above that level. Says there's an ice machine but I searched every corner of our floor and there wasn't one, who knows. Overall, would not come back here. Not terrible, definitely not good. Check out also tried to add on an extra night of valet, which was taken off thankfully.🙃

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel—the service was truly outstanding from the moment we checked in until the time we left. For my husband’s birthday, we were upgraded to a top-floor room, which made the experience even more special. The in-room dining was excellent, with food that exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the balcony room, which offered beautiful views, and the rooftop bar had a great atmosphere. Housekeeping service was also consistent and accommodating, even during peak hours on the weekend. The only downside to our stay was the cost of parking and incidental fees. Parking was $60 per night, and incidental charges were $100 per night, which we weren’t made aware of until arrival. For a three-night stay, these expenses added up quickly. It would be helpful if the hotel offered a fixed rate for guests staying multiple nights. Overall, despite the extra costs, I would definitely book again, though I would likely explore alternative parking options and plan for a shorter stay.

The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating from the valet all the way to check out. I stayed at another Omni property for a day and was disappointed. I was able to instantly make a reservation and switch to this great place. Reasonably priced and very easy to walk to the capitol and 6th street. I'm very pleased and will stay here again! Very nice hotel, check in was very easy and quick and the staff was great. Two complaints:(1) parking - parking is $59 a night, which is ridiculous, and to cap it off, when you call down to have your car brought up, they say they’ll test you, and they did nt or either time. The second time when we finally went down our car was there but no valets were, so had to stand around for 5 minutes waiting for someone to give us our key. If I’m going to pay $59/night for a valet, you should at least have good valet service. (2) there are no coke mackies anywhere in the hotel, so after you’ve drunk you two courtesy waters, if it’s after hours you have to ask them to send up a drink

Very nice hotel. I booked a king bed with balcony. The fitted bed sheet kept coming off the bed throughout the night. The two small garbage cans didn't have any liners installed. Room service was terrible the following morning. I called twice half an hour apart. It went straight to voicemail where I left my name and room number for them to call back. Never got a call for an entire hour so I decided to check out.

What an amazing stay! Julie deserves a raise- she is incredible at her job, and she made us feel extremely special and welcomed! We came for my 40th birthday celebration, and it was truly memorable. They even have gluten free options in the restaurant and cafe. The staff is also knowledgeable on cross-contamination, which I find is rare when traveling, and it was truly appreciated. The only thing I would change is the fact that our room was only tidied once during our 4-night stay, even when we called down to ask someone to come up. Otherwise, a completely memorable and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Picking suite was great but ~1/2 outlets didn’t work. The shower had one temperature, hot! Those issues need to be corrected. The restaurant/bar was slow and expensive. By itself, the bar was fine. The coffee shop was fast, had better food but again was EXPENSIVE.
