Super 8 by Wyndham Austin Downtown/Capitol Area

Clean room, well lit, comfortable bed & pillows.

Don't be fooled by the Wyndham affiliation. This is a dump that I assume Wyndham is going to tear down soon and build something decent.

The TV remote did not work. I called the office. The girl came to the room and made the remote work.....some of the time. I quit trying to use the remote. Turned off the TV using the buttons on the back. The next morning I told the same girl it did not work. That evening. No remote replacement. Checked out the next day. Still no replacement remote. I have been staying in this motel for 27 years. There has almost always been a problem of some kind. But it is located near my work. The beds are comfortable.

I wouldn't stay in this hotel again even if it was free. They had my reservation wrong. I booked 1 room and had me for 2. The AC does not work at all. It is an ugly room With scary looks. This place should only be used by the hour!!!
