The property was nice but the construction made it look a little like a 2 star hotel. Room was nice but lowest the AC went was 65 and doesn’t blow directly to the room but on the side by the couch and window. Took a while to cool the room down. The Valet was horrible took two people to go get my car which was 30 mins and then when came back same two people were in my car when they came back could have went to get another car that was waiting. Overall 3 out 5

It’s very conveniently located downtown next to 6th street, where a fair share of the nightlife is happening and also where the Mothership is; surely one of the main attractions in Austin. At the same time the area is littered with the homeless so personally, I would not stay in Downtown again but rather chose by South Congress which we thought was much nicer. Also, everywhere in Downtown parking comes at a premium, so add $52 to your night for valet parking. The hotel itself has probably had its hayday. There’s nothing wrong with the rooms, they are fine, the bed was comfortable, but I just didn’t love it. The gym was very well-equipped with a good selection of weights, a cable machine and a couple of other machines as well as your usual selection of running machines. The pool area was cute, yet the water was very warm as it’s in the sun all day. It was really too hot to hang out when we were visiting and the bar was closed all week.

The pool furniture needs to be replaced or repaired. Some routine maintenance is not done. The property is getting older and is run down. Parking is 48 dollars a day. Would never eat in the restaurant there again. The location is great!

Grateful the heated pool and hot tub were open in winter! Unloading is a task. Lobby entrance is obstructed by construction so you have to park blocks away, go check in to get a key card and then access the garage. Be aware of the homeless population in the area.

We only stayed one night but found the staff friendly, our room clean and well maintained. The parking garage is covered and on site with easy in and out access. I’m not familiar with the area and the going rate for parking, but the self parking was $52 for one night. I thought that was a little pricey but it may have been the going rate for the area. Also I recommend if you’re staying there make sure you bring your own water as the water isn’t free and is pricey. The gym facility is awesome! Very well equipped.

Overall, the property is beautiful. The elevators were HORRIBLE! I got stuck in one on first morning and throughout my stay different elevators wouldn't stop at some floors and the lights were not working for many floors so you couldn't tell if you were going to get wear you wanted to go.

My daughter and I were visiting Austin for the 2023 US Grand Prix. Our vacation rental was cancelled last minute and we were forced to find some place to stay. Obviously there weren't many places available and they were renting at a premium. We chose the Hilton because we wanted to stay downtown and I'm a regular of the brand. However, I don't be returning to this hotel again. Some of our frustrations: - The shower soap was empty when we arrived. - You had to request to have your room made up... for $650 a night??? - The battery in our door lock died and we had to call he front desk. It took over 20 minutes to get someone to come fix it... in the meantime we had to eat our dinner standing up in the hall. - We were awakened one night by the noise of vibrating pipes. - There was a refrigerator but no microwave. - The faucet in the bathroom sink wouldn't turn off. As stated before, our stay was quite disappointing. If you have another option, stay somewhere else unless you are getting a great deal.

First room the refidgerator compressor made a shrieking noise, 2nd room toilet wasn’t clean , AC worked only on extremes , and toilet didn’t flush, beds were super hard and the shower the splitter leaked so terrible water pressure. The bar was nice and the gym was ok. Construction on the convention center demolitions means noise after 6pm. I was tired of complaining so was just happy to head home.

Not worth the money we spent. Didn’t feel like we were staying at a nice hotel. Our room stayed very hot during the day, I’m thankful I brought a fan with me. The shower had a clog in it, so the water filled up and drained really slow. It was also very hard to turn on the shower. The shower faucet felt very cheap and broken. I also almost fell in the shower because a roach crawled by my foot and scared me. I finally called the front desk after the roach, and they gave us free breakfast vouchers. Also ton of homeless around the hotel, so beware if you are walking around by your self.

The room was dusty every where by the central air unit there was dusty, there was also dust on every painting frame and lamp, and window ledge. there was so much dirt in between the couch cushions. Also the room had a mini fridge that was not plugged and the cord was too short to plug it in from where it was. I would expect these condition in a motel not from a hotel like the Hilton… Also fix the cracked button in the elevators it looks horrible the best thing about the room was the view

Came for a work conference. Comfortable room and kind staff, but all of the linen (sheets and towels) had stains (makeup maybe?) which was not pleasant. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

The pool was dirty green so I didn't get to enjoy. There wasn't any shower gel in the shower luckily I had brought some of my own. So the stay didn't meet my expectations. The bed was the best. It was very soft and comfy. The staff was nice but they definitely need to clean the pool.

The front desk noelr room service answered after multiple attempts to reach. Floor unvaccumed, hair and toenail clippings in room on floor. Loud in halls and plumbing in room was extremly loud when flushed. Glasses used werent replaced when room cleaned. Disappointing

Oh Hilton claiming to be a 4 star hotel…. I’ve seen motels better up kept. Let’s begin with the skyline view room. 18th floor… ok good start. Look out the window looking at the middle of other buildings. Not exactly a skyline. Then looking down seeing a roof with trash piled on it. Seriously? I pay all this money for a 4 star hotel and this is the view I get? Moving on. Room itself is nicely sized. King bed. Comfy couch. Has a mini fridge. Ok but where’s my microwave? Once again even some motels have microwaves! Breakfast is NOT included but you can buy it for $31/day per person. Other hotels include it. The bathroom…. Mirror has visible damage, air vents are not regularly cleaned. Shower head shows buildup. Though toilet flushes! Hooray for that. Pool area is relatively small. Cool that it’s on the roof of the 8th story but hot tub is well just barely hot and has very few jets. I can get a better one for the backyard for the price of a couple of nights here. Pool, didn’t jump in but was overfilled and splashing onto the floor with every breeze. Internet… they give you a password, but for what? The WiFi is an open (thus dangerous) network which any hacker can get onto with no security. God forbid you try to use vpn with it, you can’t browse anything then. If you want faster internet it will cost you. People what year do we live in that a 4 star hotel isn’t giving you free secure high speed internet?! Sometimes forget to take trash

We enjoyed everything about our stay in the 15th floor (corner suite) except the late night bass heavy music until exactly 2am, both Friday & Saturday nights. It was incredible to be that 15 stories up, we felt like we were at a club. So. Stinkin’. Loud.

Our room was very clean and the hotel is in a nice area where it was easy to get to places we wanted to see. We were on the 13th floor and you could hear the night club blasting music till early in the am. Make sure you bring ear plugs!!! But other then that it was very convenient and everyone was nice!

Great location if you want to be near 6th street. Staff was pleasant. They have a great bar/restaurant for mid and later day. Bed was super comfortable. Looked clean. Bathroom door looked a little un cleaned. If that’s my only complaint it’s not a big deal (easily overlooked I guess) Views were great. It is a college area. Had fun.

We booked a king size bed with roll in shower and when we checked in they told us because we used a third party site to book the room, we get what is available at the time. We got a 2 queen bed, reg tub/shower. My husband is 6’11”, does not fit on a queen bed and a reg shower head when turned on sprays water at his chest, and he has to bend down to was his face and head/back. He is also medically disabled/Retired Law Enforcement. They refused to switch the room and give us the room we booked, nor did they care about his needs. Very disappointed!

The hotel was conveniently located. The room was comfortable the parking was VERY expensive even if they claim to be least expensive. Had billing problems without help, was accidentally hung up on 3 times after a significant wait time!!

Staff were wonderful, friendly, answered all questions, gave area suggestions. Room was comfortable and clean. Banquet food was tasty and staff was very helpful (a member of our party had a food allergy). Front lobby was inviting and offered lots of seating.

There is a Starbucks on the lobby floor, which is connected to the convention center via a skyway from the 6th floor. In other words, it may be the best hotel for attending an event at the convention center. Other than that, the location is inconvenient, so if you're going sightseeing, you might want to choose a different hotel. There is a Target and Whole Foods Market about 10 minutes walk away. There are LIME ports everywhere in Austin, so if it's about a 10 minute walk, I'd recommend using LIME. Plus, if you can download the Metro app, buses and Metro rideshare bikes are everywhere. What's more, it's fun to visit over 200 live music club. The hotels aren't great, but Austin is definitely the most exciting city.

Easy check in, friendly helpful staff, nice clean room. We stayed here for easy walk to bars and restaurants on 6th street. We walked all around Austin. Easy walk to the bat bridge, enjoyed watching the bats! We enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay here again!

Could use a good exterior renovation, hallways smelled bad, rooms were solid and up to date, great views, close to everything downtown. Pool was good, everything on the exterior was just a little rundown. For the price it’s really good.

The hotel rooms were very nice and had comfortable beds. Overall hotel service was very good. Housekeeping was very attentive and efficient. My only complaints would that we paid extra for a skyline view, but were awoken on some days with loud banging of construction very early in the morning. Also, the rooftop bar and taco restaurant were closed and gym was being renovated, though they did have a decent makeshift gym in a small meeting room. It would have been nice to be advised of this beforehand.

This place was awesome! And I highly recommend the Taco Project. I wasn't sure if tacos in a hotel restaurant would be good, but they were wonderful. Also, make sure you spend lots of time in the hot tub and pool. The view is amazing, especially at night.

The hotel was very nice. All of the staff were kind and helpful. All of the restaurants inside the hotel were decently priced and really good. The fungi pizza was the favorite! Starbucks inside the hotel was a nice amenity as well. The man in the gift shop even loaned us his bottle opener for our entire stay. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! There is a spa under construction so that will be an added bonus when that is complete. There are a shocking amount of homeless people on 6th street right by the hotel, but none of them bothered us. There is just a stench if urine in the streets. We didn't have a microwave in our room which I found a little odd, but other than that, I can't really complain about anything.
