This property seems to have diminished somewhat in quality since my last stay. The TV remote didn’t work. So I got another one from the desk. Apparently it is by design that you cannot change channels up and down on the remote. Or the TV. You have to know which channel the Guide is on first. Then you have to remember (or write down) what channel you want to watch and then enter it on the remote (such as 43-2) and hit enter. No channel surfing. The hot tub was filthy, but worse, it wasn’t hot. It was barely lukewarm. Not much different than the pool actually. And there is no control available to turn it up. The breakfast was quite good, but overall, the feel of the property was less Country Inn and more Super 8. I’ve stayed here many times over the past few years. I believe I will try a different property next time.

The room was clean and well outfitted, plenty of power options next to the bed for electronic devices. Bathroom is well appointed with a good shower (water is nice and warm with plenty of pressure). Comfortable bedding. Breakfast is good; several good options and a clean and attractive dining area. The employees are polite and pleasant. The parking is limited- most of the parking is behind the building with no direct way in if you park before checking in.

I requested main floor. My husband is handicapped. We were put on the second floor but the elevator was broke. Then our room was furthest away from the steps. Never again!!!!

Very nice entry once you're in the hotel, room was very large. Decent Continental+ breakfast pretty standard overall. Bed was very hard and hot tub chemicals were BRUTAL on my eyes and lungs and hot tub was a bit run down.

Everything was good except the smell. The room smelled absolutely horrible, damp and moldy. I had a headache within an hour and all of my clothes in my suitcase picked up the smell. Really unfortunate, if it weren't for that it would have been a great stay

Great stay. Breakfast good with choices, biscuit and gravy very good. Hotel is very clean and recently remodeled. Appreciate the daily room freshening up, a rarity in many hotels.these days. Good price as well, would definitely stay again

Our stay was fine, water pressure in the shower was good. There was something going on with the air conditioner. The room smells musty. Also the bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Could be due to the moisture?

Found a cockroach that crawled into my shoe The place is essentially filthy. The carpeting in hallways, and on stairs is so filthy. I chose not to eat there because of the cockroach and figured they were more throughout the building. The towels are very thin. No, alarm clock working in the room.room smells musty

The doors are paper thin so you can hear everything in the hallway, loudly. The WiFi never worked and the staff did not care. The pillows are ridiculous, half the size of a standard pillow, only three for a king size bed. The tv was difficult to navigate.

We left early for an activity and when we came back our room was occupied by a staff member’s child. Nobody offered to remove the child so we left. After a report was filed the call I received from the property was insincere and implied that I was the party in the wrong because we left early. We still had two hours before checkout when we came back but they are still saying that it’s not their fault and that’s how it works. They only offered an apology until I said that wasn’t enough, then they offered 20% back, which is less than $25. I will never stay at this property again.

I stayed here two weekends. The first stay was wonderful. I was even able to check in early on my first stay. The second stay, however, the front desk attendant was very rude when I arrived early, pointing to the check in time three times stating my room was NOT ready and check in time is at 3pm. Her demeanor and tone were very rude! I nearly walked out to another hotel. Other than her, the stay was quite pleasant.

There were young kids in the in the hot tub being very loud. There was a sign saying they were not allowed but they just ignored it. We reported it to the desk and they did nothing. So we ended up just leaving. This was one reason we chose to stay here. We go to Columbia very often but we will not stay here again.we were very disappointed

This was our first time staying at Country Inn & Suites. Location was fine. Our first night back to our room at around 9pm, we found our room door was open. Housekeeping had made the bed and left the door open. The desk told us that they had cleaned the room in the morning after we left for the day. Not very safe! Luckily, we didn’t leave any valuables in the room. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Will not be going back.

The staff was super when our reservation was somehow cancelled, but not by us. They helped us straighten it out quickly and were very helpful. The lady who operates the breakfast area was really great also. Very friendly and attentive. We would stay there again for sure.

The hotel was very clean. The shower had good pressure. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold foods to choose from. There is a TGIFriday Restaurant that is basically in the parking lot of the hotel. So you can walk over for dinner. We could hear the people above us walking and the bed wasn't super comfortable. But I would definitely stay here again. Very clean, great location, and great price.

This was our first stay in Columbia and we were very pleased with our choice! The hotel is very nice and looks newly renovated. The rooms are huge, great water pressure, and lovely breakfast. Plenty of parking, right off the highway, easy access to lots of food options. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy to find off the interstate and convenient to eating establishments and shopping on the east side of Columbia. Hotel was very clean, a good breakfast was provided which makes staying here a great value. The MU campus is just a few minutes away. We would return if our travels come through Columbia again.

Clean and quiet property, well-maintained, convenient location, easy onsite parking, spacious suite room, and polite staff. The fresh-baked cookies were a big hit with my teenage daughter. My only complaints were: the wi-fi in my room was atrocious, almost useless; and the scrambled eggs served at breakfast were tasteless and lukewarm while the sausage patties were all overcooked, tough as leather, and inedible.
