The Ann Savannah, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy

Great stay, great room, easily walkable to downtown Savannah. Parking is always tough in Savannah but the parking garage made it easier. We stayed during their first week open and they didn’t have a real reception desk at the time so reception getting in took a bit of time but I am sure that will be fixed as I saw the construction of the new reception area for checking in.

We were so impressed by this hotel. It was so convenient for our family of 4. We loved that the hotel is an apartment style so we were able to get the option for two separate rooms and bathrooms with living room and kitchen- very convenient, especially for our teenage kids. The gym looked amazing and was fully equipped. Also, we absolutely loved the decor! It felt like modern industrial style with a little hint of traditional, loved it! We just wished that we could have full access to the pool which is located in another regular apartment building and closes at 6pm for hotel guests. Otherwise, perfect place for families with grown kids.

Upon arrival Friday 5/30 (5pm with a 4pm check in time advertised) I was told the room wasn’t ready yet and needed another 30-45 minutes. I had to pick up friends from the airport, came back at 6pm and was told it still wasn’t ready, it was a busy weekend and I wasn’t the only one who was affected. When I made it clear that was unacceptable, the manager came out to quietly apologize for the issue and said he’d comp the first night of the stay. The room was nice though every door needed some WD40 as they creaked like a horror movie. The pool is across the street in another facility. The “onsite” parking is valet only. The garage is cross the street and ll night long you hear the valets making the car horns honk to find them. The location is great for accessing the historic district and riverfront. Now about that comped night. It didn’t show up on the initial folio. Had to bring it to the attention of the same manager at checkout. When we arrived home the new folio still didn’t show the room comp. So I called and spoke with the manager, he said (at 4:30pm) it would be corrected and a new folio sent by 5pm. I checked email at 730pm still no new updated folio. Call again, no manager on duty so I called back at 10am, It was being worked in at that time. I received an actual email from the manager apologizing and saying a new folio was coming to me that would be updated. Waited another hour emailed the mgr since nothing came. Finally got an email with the PDF

We were supposed to check in at 4pm but they didn’t let us into our suite until 6pm. Which was frustrating because we had a party of 8 for a bachelorette party and needed to get into our room to get ready. We also were paying a lot for a 4 bedroom suite so it should be ready when check in starts. The next morning after checking out, it took an hour and 10 mins to get our car from valet.

There should be no destination fees and parking fees. Almost $500 for parking and destination fees extra. Also pool is always crowded and no chairs available so couldn’t use it for the whole week there

Nice clean apartment. Safe access, walk to most places within 10 minutes. Appreciated the full kitchen. Very Quiet.

Gorgeous location with very helpful staff. Stuck to street parking to avoid valet fees.

Parking is super expensive and we could not manage the room hvac system which is loud. The staff were nice, especially the valet team, but when my friend fell and cracked her face and head on the sidewalk instead of helping us, they gave us an ice pack & they continued to check in two different couples for the next 20 minutes while she bled. Then when they finished checking everyone in, they decided to ask us if we needed anymore assistance. Which we did-a firstaid pack & gauze to stop the bleeding. The little james restaurant next door doesn't serve breakfast anymore and you must wait for assistance to get lunch. The manager sat at the bar on a conference call while we waited for 15 minutes for service. The hell a lot of work to do, but it has great potential and the cleaning staff is phenomenal.

The room was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with the necessities needed for cooking.

The apartment was so nice and modern and clean. Had everything you would need nice size refrigerator. Only problem was the thermostat kept changing because it was preset. So I had to keep resetting it down. I finally got into the setting and set them all to what I wanted and that seemed to work

Large, clean suite that opened onto a cute treed courtyard. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was really cute with nice dishware and accessories. We could have moved in!

valet sux. power outlets didn't work, coffee maker is a joke

Apartment was clean and stocked with anything one might need. Very helpful and courteous staff.

This hotel is very unique, like an upscale NYC apartment building. It is in pristine condition and is beautifully decorated. The furniture is high quality. No detail was missed. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The shower was fully stocked with everything needed. If cooking, the kitchen also included the essential cookware and appliances. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Considerations if staying here include the location being near downtown but in a rundown area near the bus station without a nearby public parking deck. Paying the valet fee is a given. There was also a $30 plus tax "destination fee" added at the end of our stay. As our apartment was a studio, the blue light from all the kitchen appliances lit up the room, which was distracting for sleeping. The Little James restaurant across the walkway had overpriced, inedible food. The pastry was stale and the avocado toast was brown. Even with the nice $15 off card they give you, it was not worth it. The staff could not have been nicer or more professional. We enjoyed our stay but it is not quite a 5-star for the reasons mentioned.

Needs a coffee pot they give u everything u need but that the shampoo and conditioner and body wash r to close to wall to use can't turn them the toilet and shower doors did t work we stayed for a week 1 laundry soap wasn't enough not not enough trash can liners took 4x to ask for some along with extra towels to get never did get extra towels as is it super damp in Savannah so when u show in morning they don't dry so would be nice to have so don't have to dry between each person the staff was amazing so friendly very informative but wasn't like a real hotel took longer for things and help no a big issue The noise at night is crazy it starts at 8pm ish and goes till 4 am constant loud music yelling screaming really hard to sleep along with u can hear through the walls it's a great concept and would stay again maybe they will have all the kinks worked out

Lovely unit with well appointed room and beautifully decorated. The only downside is the shower doors kept sliding open for both showers. Staff were helpful and delightful.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Ann Savannah. The apartment was really the right size and quite comfortable. The beds and pillows were also comfortable. We did not bring our dog but a LOT of dogs were in the facility. Very walkable to the Broughton St area with shops and restaurants. If you're looking for more than a hotel room, I'd recommend The Ann.

Great location to walk the City from… Good dining and museums are close by the hotel. Rooms were large and clean. Having a kitchenette made it convenient to make small meals and store left overs, when we happened to have them. And the air conditioning worked amazingly well…even in the height of summer. We will be back. Thank you.

The apartment was nice but the washer and dryer was on the second floor so you have to hike up steep stairs to do laundry. They both were tiny. Like the size to wash a pair of jeans and a couple of shirts tiny. They also put an almost $600 hold on my card upon checkin which was insanely high.

I had a fantastic 5 star stay. Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and eager to please. I had a great time.

It didn't start off well as they were understaffed when we attempted to check in late at night but Christopher the GM and his staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. They had some staffing issues but am quite certain that they almost instantly remedied that

This place is walking distance to all shops, restaurants, and tours.

This property was amazing. We loved it and all the rooms had to offer and modern amenities there. Little James right next door was convenient for drinks or other small bites. We could walk to the trolley, to restaurants and shopping. If we had known how easy the walking was, we probably could have saved on the car rental and valet parking because we never used our rental car once. You should ride share from/to the airport and save a lot of money.

The property was right next to a very terrible neighborhood, and there was a lot of noise outside.

A contemporary hotel awkwardly located between a poor urban area and an upscale one with undesirable connection to the latter. Dog friendly, yet no place handy that feels safe for dog walking.

This was a really cute and very clean hotel. I enjoyed my stay. The staff in particular were excellent and very helpful. The valet girl Ty was super kind and gave me some recommendations on places to visit in town. The restaurant on site, Little James , actually has really good food and drinks as well. The bartenders were great as well. Overall amazing stay, I am only taking off one star because my AC was not working in my suite.
