For a budget hotel I thought this was a good experience. My room was clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Everything was in working order. Prince at the front desk was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is basic. Paper plates and plastic silverware. There is a nice waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, juice, cereal, fresh apples and bananas. No protein. This hotel has two stories. The doors do open to the outside. That made me a little nervous. There are security cameras. The doors have peep holes, a deadbolt, and a flip lock. The location is excellent- right off the highway, less than three miles to the Biltmore Estate, and close to downtown. There is a Wing Stop next door and plenty of other restaurants close by.

Nice renovated an clean room. It looks like a motel renovated so no elevators as indicated in the hotel description. It does not provide much privacy as people walking by your room can see you and vice versa. Also, not well isolated as we could hear people talking outside. However, nice staff and a good place for the price.

The room is great , it’s clean . But no elevator. If you have to carry lots of stuff it be a problem and only1 or 2 staircase . The breakfast is terrible. We stayed 2 days and over the weekend where the fee is doubled but the breakfast stayed same for the 3 days we stayed there. No protein products . No eggs , no bacon, no sausage . Just not good enough for what we paid for the weekend . Weekend rate is doubled of that you pay on regular days . Staff is great though .

Our stay was nice enough for the price paid. The room was accessible from outdoors only, and there was no elevator. We were there during exceptionally cold weather which caused the heater to run almost constantly. We had to go outside to get to the breakfast, which had minimal options. However, we slept well (2 nights) and it was basically comfortable.

Easy on and off the expressway. Easy check in. Room was clean. One night the smoke alarm went off and the clerk said that if someone smokes in one of the rooms, ALL of the smoke detectors in all of the rooms go off. Easy to get from room to parking lot. However, several times the back parking lot had several large vehicles and I had trouble squeezing between the 2 rows of vehicles. Simply not enough room. (I have a mid-size car) but there were long 8 foot bed trucks with hitches etc.

Came for a business trip and had the best stay. Ashley was excellent, she checked us in quickly, was very friendly and informative. Loved her energy on a gloomy Friday evening, she definitely made my check in experience eventful. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. The breakfast was about average, no complaints there. Overall, had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back on the next business trip.

I never write reviews like this but I’m doing it because I’m not sure how this hotel has such a great rating. I drove into Asheville from northern VA and after an 8.5 hour drive, I arrive to learn that I needed to pay an additional fee of $30 for a “pet room” on top of the $50 pet deposit and they would need to switch me from a room with 2 queens to a room with one king because “dog rooms only have one bed.” Fortunately I was traveling by myself so whatever. That’s fine. This hotel was more of a motel as the doors to the room lead directly outside which I didn’t notice previously, that’s my bad. The inside of the room left a lot to be desired. Just inside the door, the carpet was filthy. There were questionable stains everywhere, including one on the comforter that looked like menstrual blood. The mattress itself was horrible and flat. The shower was not clean, there was hair and dirt in the corners of the tub. The AC/heating unit was extremely loud and the room stayed the same temp all night, regardless of what I changed the settings to. The next morning I was called 6 times minimum by the front desk as they were looking for someone who “was supposed to be in that room.” The front desk guy stated he didn’t understand why I kept answering as he had a different name down. I only gave it 2 stars because although I assumed I’d see a roach, I never did. I couldn’t wait to shower and check out.

One of the blankets had stains on it, the bathroom door was dirty and had water damage at the bottom, the hotel room door doesn’t seem to have weather sealing ( lots of cold air came through no problem) the toilet sits oddly far from the toilet paper holder ( a child can not reach it) the refrigerator has a odd odor and the microwave was not cleaned properly. I had high hopes for this hotel given that the sign out front says that it was recently renovated. However, there were stains on the carpet, hairs on the pillow and in the shower, and the tub would not drain even with the stopper pulled out. And when I say the stopper pulled out, it came all the way out. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there was only cereal, waffles, and toast. One thing you must know about this hotel is that if you get a room in the back, you can park right next to your room. But in the front, there is landscaping and the parking is not really close. There are no luggage carts, so you're going to be hoofing luggage down the front corridor, or even worse, up the stairs and down a corridor. Asheville is a tourist town and you really need to bring your A game as a hotel. Even though this was a budget hotel, I just felt like I was getting their C game. One really big disappointment was the service. I called upon arrival to the front desk to let them know I needed another light bulb for the bedside lamp. They told me they'd get back to me and then I got ghosted. No response at all. They really need to do better than this.

It was convenient but we reserved a room with a king bed, said it was available and it was not, the mirror was all smeared (not cleaned with the proper cleaning materials), it had almost a dog odor, and the sink was badly cracked. The room was very clean! The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great! It helped a lot having a refrigerator and microwave in the room for our snacks and beverages. The door needs better weather stripping as there was a substantial gap between the door and the frame. Not only did this allow cold air in the room, but we were able to hear the loud late arrival of other guests at 11:30pm.

The heater/ac in the room would run and cut off. We tried to find a sweet spot where it would stay on but the temperature did not seem to affect it. Made it a little difficult to sleep at night without TV on to mask the cutting on and cutting off.

I was unable to check in. The hotel did not have a means to accept the payment methods I had available. I was forced to abandon my reservation and sleep in my car for the two nights I was supposed to stay.

Upon checking in, I was told by Nadine that our reservation was cancelled. She said they called me to notify me that my credit card was declined. I truthfully do not answer calls but I do check voicemails faithfully as well as emails. Nothing. I used Expedia to book this and according to the app, I was good to go. I'm not sure what the issue was and all this woman could say is I needed to call the 3rd party (Expedia) to fix it. After 10 minutes of us going back and forth and me freaking out thinking I had to find a hotel room for the night somewhere, I was able to finally figure out that they did have a room but it wasn't what I had booked (2 queens) but they did have a king. She was not helpful whatsoever and didn't want to help me figure out what went wrong, and honestly, I still don't know what went wrong because it wasn't my credit card. Terrible. I was in town for a wedding, but this experience made for a horrible memory in Asheville.

Loved her energy on a gloomy Friday evening, she definitely made my check in experience eventful. The rooms were spotless and very spacious. The breakfast was about average, no complaints there. Overall, had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back on the next business trip.

It started out by reception telling me I didn’t have a reservation. And they wanted to argue with me! Secondly my door lock/electronic key card would not work! Management said it was combination of cold and old batteries. They tried replacing batteries to no avail. I suggested getting a known working lock from one of the many vacant rooms. Simple fix! They would not do it! I was locked out of my room and had to get front desk person to come open my door each and every time I stepped out, VERY annoying! Terrible experience! Probably never stay here again!

Property was nice, Front desk was inconsistent. One person was very cordial and the next person was simply rude. Housekeeping was terrible. With an 11:00 checkout, No do not disturb tag for the door, it was in excusable that I was interrupted 4 times this morning before 10:30 . And the interruption was coupled with a very rude attitude. Even with a language barrier "I'll leave at 11:00" with a thumbs up should be clear.

Staying upstairs was a pain bc the limited ways to get up there and our room where no where near convenient 222 and 226 - the car was downstairs obviously but then you have to walk much further to the right or left To get to the stairs and then continue to walk further to the far right or left from the stairs… just a pain. No convince with that. Check in was a lot longer then it should have been - we had to wait over 10 min before they even started ours. Only 1 person in front of us and they never even acknowledged us at all.

Hotel itself was good. There is a Waffle House conveniently located across the street. This is the only Waffle House I've ever seen where the interior dining room is closed between 12am and 6am. You have to order at a window and wait for them to make it. They do however offer online ordering which I recommend. Cheap ubers to and from downtown and convenient bus stop located nearby will get downtown in 15 mins for $1.

For a budget hotel I thought this was a good experience. My room was clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Everything was in working order. Prince at the front desk was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is basic. Paper plates and plastic silverware. There is a nice waffle maker, bagels, yogurt, juice, cereal, fresh apples and bananas. No protein. This hotel has two stories. The doors do open to the outside. That made me a little nervous. There are security cameras. The doors have peep holes, a deadbolt, and a flip lock. The location is excellent- right off the highway, less than three miles to the Biltmore Estate, and close to downtown. There is a Wing Stop next door and plenty of other restaurants close by.

The location is good. About a 20 minute walk to downtown. The bed was wonderful. The shower was nice and hot and the towels were soft and white. Breakfast was a disappointment because of the temperature of the food. For the price, I would stay there again.

The room is great , it’s clean . But no elevator. If you have to carry lots of stuff it be a problem and only1 or 2 staircase . The breakfast is terrible. We stayed 2 days and over the weekend where the fee is doubled but the breakfast stayed same for the 3 days we stayed there. No protein products . No eggs , no bacon, no sausage . Just not good enough for what we paid for the weekend . Weekend rate is doubled of that you pay on regular days . Staff is great though .

Everything more or less ok. But just ok. Room definitely smelled of smoke despite it being a non-smoking hotel. Assume they didn't replace carpets etc all since making that change. Breakfast was limited, did have coffee, juice, cereal, make your own waffles.
