Rodeway Inn & Suites near Outlet Mall - Asheville

I have stayed here many nights. I have been here 2 days now and no hot water. The staff is very polite about it, however i asked about an extended 2 days compensation and noone can give that approval. The water is down until monday and i am booked here to checkout on monday. I would appreciate an extra 2 day stay to compensate the inconvenience of having to heat water to bathe in the microwave. I fell that is a more then adequate request. It has always been a great place to stay. It is clean and convenient to most locations.the staff are good people too..just not my idea of fair, since rhe rooms are nonrefundable.

No breakfast, only coffee. Front desk was very nice. Parking lot too crowded.

To be a smoke free facility, our room wreaked of stale cigarette smoke. So much that it gave me a headache. The bed were decently comfortable. Some stains on the pillowcases and bedcover. It was clean but you could see where the cleaning staff had wiped down the tables cause lint and pledge were still visible. TV wouldn’t work but we called to the front desk and she came and fixed it right then. Pleasant and friendly staff! Beside the lingering smoke smell and decent cleanliness, it was super noisy. You could hear people talking all night and morning. The halls are tiled and sound carries and echos throughout. If you are needing a quick nights stay to get you to your next destination this would be ok. There’s no continental breakfast, which we knew beforehand, by there is coffee.

The comforter on the bed was dirty. they had no extra towels one tiny piece of soap and the heater ran off and on all night and was very loud. There wasn't even a soda machine.

Blinds didn't work. Onky elevator was extremely slow & I wondered numerous times if this was the time I was going to be stuck in the elevator. No plastic bag for the ice bucket (guess because they knew they didn't have a working ice machine).

The hotel appears recently renovated – the furniture in the room was new, and the bathroom was modern and clean. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t have a crib available for our younger child. The location is convenient, with easy access to both the highway and the city.

Don’t have luggage storage and the lady at recepción was not very nice…

For the price, the hotel was in nice condition with recent updates to the furniture, carpeting and bathroom. Because of its location, the parking lot was rather full and it was hard to find a space. For some reason, hotels give you very small pillows and my wife is very particular. We both had a hard time sleeping. For her it was because of the inadequate pillow size and for me there was a good bit of lobby noise throughout the night

It was neat and clean and smelled so good.

We had roaches and bed bugs .. after reporting they gave us a nice clean room on the 5th floor . But over all for the price nice

I got fleas or bed bugs from this hotel and now have tons of bites. Would not recommend. Hotel is run down too. For the price it should be much nicer. 110 a night is not cheap and this place was ghetto. Shoulda been like 60 a night.

The sheets and comforter in the room were very stained and dirty . We didn’t stay after seeing this. We left immediately . I’m hoping to get a refund but unsure if we will ☹️

Room smelled of urine and very dirty.

First room had a tv that only played in Spanish. I was moved to another room that was hot as hell. I turned the air conditioner on and it was loud as can be. It woke me up every time it kicked on. Behind the bathroom door was filthy and the toilet leaked! I should get some money back!

The front desk lady made me feel very comfortable. She was genuinely interested in our conversation and wanted to help with any needs. When I got to the room it smelled of marijuana though. I went to call down to the desk, but the phone was unplugged. Once I plugged it back in, it wouldn't call down to the front desk via the button that said front desk. If I hadn't been so tired I would have gone down to ask for a new room which I get the impression they would have gladly accommodated. The room was clean and I didn't notice any bugs. The walls are pretty thin and I heard the movement in the hall like it was in my room. Overall it was a decent stay. The only real problem could have been solved had brought it to the staff's attention.

I booked the room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. Once I arrived, they informed me that they don’t even have rooms with sofa beds in them. I paid extra for that to be in there and did not get compensated for the difference.

The staff on hand were friendly and helpful. The property is newly renovated which makes for an attractive room design, more upscale than the last Rodeway I visited.

We did not stay at the property, as they misrepresented the room. We rented a king suite for 3 people since every suite we have rented has a fold out couch. This Rodeway Inn however did not. We called the front desk and the woman said when they replaced the couches they chose to go with regular ones. My husband said we all couldn't sleep in the bed and she asked if one of us could sleep on the floor. We decided to leave because we all did not have a bed and sleeping on the floor was NOT an option. Now we are out a night's sleep since we have to drive 4 hours home in the middle of the night and out almost $300.00 for a hotel room we never slept in.

The rooms have been recently renovated. The rooms overall are nice. It was a good room at a good price.

The receptionist was very rude

The front desk staff and the general staff were kind and helpful. The room was very cozy.

This is the one of the worst properties I ever stayed at. First of all, lots of things broken in the room, dirty carpet and terrible service. We stayed there for 2 nights and nobody came to clean it up after 1 night. In the super early morning (around 3am), one kid on our floor went rampant and made noises for the next hour. Despite multiple attempts to reach front desk for help, the line was always busy somehow. For anyone looking for a place to stay, pay a little extra if you want to a much better overall experience. Avoid this place at all costs!

Teresa was a great concierge. Recommended excellent local dining options and was friendly with my family.

What I did not like was that the desk clerks confused me with another client of the same name and charged me for my 2 day stay and for her 3 day stay. So my 294.00 for 2 nights and 15.00 for pets became 774.05 plus the pet fee of 20.00 per night (that Expedia advertised for 15.00 per night). Needless to say. I was upset. I called and the person I spoke to told me what happened and assured me that I would not be charged for anything except the 294.00 and the pet fee overage would be refunded.

Ah, where do I begin? For starters, I am never one to complain, but I feel that this review is necessary due to safety concerns at this hotel. I enters my room (304) to find crumbs and hair throughout the bed. It was clear that the bed had been slept in after being made, and that someone forgot to clean up their mess. I went on to find a shower covered with hair and dirt from the previous occupants, and later, some black mold on the pillows and mattress. However, these were very minor concerns in my book. I was thinking, cheap hotel - you get what you pay for. But then, the icing on the cake. Not once, but TWICE - people entered my room in the middle of the night. Initially, the staff double booked my room, and a young woman and her small children entered my room during night time hours. Then, when that woman told the hotel staff that the room was occupied, the receptionist at the front proceeded to then enter our room herself. This was an extreme invasion of privacy and could have ended much worse had either party had malicious intent. Luckily, we remained level headed toward staff, despite the utter carelessness. I have learned two life lessons from this trip: 1. Always lock the mortise lock in a hotel. 2. NEVER stay at a Rodeway Inn!

The hotel has been recently redone and the room was fine. We had a leaky shower but not a big deal. The hallway and elevator smelled really strongly of smoke. It also seemed like there were a lot of people who were living there full time. A drunk guy wanted to start a fight with us on the parking lot (the parking lot behind the building has a lot of abandoned cars in the grass and was sketchy). I definitely wouldn't have been comfortable there alone or if our kids had been with us.

Location was great especially with two dogs (petco is in front of the hotel). They are in the end stages of remodeling I believe, which didn’t bother us. Our issues were the lingering moldy/mildew smell throughout the building and room. The a/c unit buttons were non existent so we had no way of adjusting the air in our room. The staff did bring us a fan so that helped a bit. There was no tv remote and were able to get a new remote the second night we were there. The bedding was extremely itchy as well. The staff was nice and helpful but I wouldn’t stay again.

Area around this hotel is amazing pretty quiet place.1 thing I didn’t like that was a cigarette smell when we came at our floor . People who serving this place a very kind.)

The staff at Roadway was very kind. I had to get my keycard reactivated and they didn't hesitate to do so. I say that because ive had bad experiences at other places. I am staying there again soon. No smoking inside and there wasn't a lot of noise. The area is in a busy area, however it seemed as though i was isolated. Thank you to the young lady who assisted me, i was an hour early for check in and she didn't have a problem with that at all.
