Great hotel with everything. Recommend highly

Helpful staff at the reception were able to do a later checkout which was helpful. Also dining room staff friendly helped us get oat milk for my daughter which was great:) Breakfast was average, personally I would have liked more variety also of veggies, soft cheese , yogurt and occasional day of pancakes or waffles- been there for 6 days so missed a bit of variety - fruit additions were nice ( e:g. peaches and apricot) and asking for omelette etc great. Room was not cleaned daily/ had to ask on some days also for additional toilet paper so could have been better. Been in a family room which is spacious and even had a washing machine, but TV set up for very low volume so my older mom couldn’t hear it. Also bath was quite high difficult for an older person to get in so consider another room if you have any mobility issues. Overall we had a nice stay, also location was comfortable near a shopping centre and tram.

Very poor experience -Our room had 2 levels, with the bedroom (with windows that don’t open) upstairs and a living area downstairs. the living area room was extremely hot, at least 25-30 degrees Celsius and the upstairs room even hotter. the air conditioning didn’t work and the balcony door and windows wouldn’t open. The front desk said air conditioning was deliberately turned off in the hotel and we should open the window. But our door wouldn’t open so we asked to change rooms. he said no other rooms were available, but if we came down the next morning they’d be able to move us to another room then. And he said he’d send a technician up to look at the door. Half an hour later I rang back and he told me the technician had reported back and there was nothing he could do I told him the technician had not been to the room and he said the technician had “checked on the computer”. When I said we couldn’t sleep in these conditions, he said he’d bring a fan up. After delivering a heating fan and feeling what the heat was like, he said he’d talk to the technician again. 15 minutes later, the technician arrived and managed to open the balcony door. So we had to sleep in the living area with door open, as upstairs was too hot and the upstairs windows don’t open. Unfortunately the room looks over a 6 lane highway and we got very little sleep due to traffic noise. the next morning, reception told us we could not change rooms as the hotel was fully booked. Would not stay again.
