I had recently stayed at a Red Roof Inn in another city which had in room fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I was very disappointed to learn this one had none of those, and was not well maintained. The outside had lots of trash and half the light bulbs did not work. Staff was not rude but did not seem to care.

The room was fine except for a lack of electrical outlets! And unfortunately, our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator. My poor daughter was on crutches so that was difficult. It was relatively quiet and the lady checking us in was pleasant.

The floors were nasty. When my husband walked on them barefoot he had to wash his feet each time before putting his shoes on. The covers had several cigarette burns and stains on it. The night stand was filthy and had to be wiped off before we could sit anything on it. The morning we was leaving we seen a roach crawling in the bathroom floor. The air conditioning didnt keep the room cool. We brought our own fan so that helped. We only stayed one night which was enough. We will not be ver stay here again. It needs alot of attention.

This was the worse hotel / motel I have ever stayed in. There were bed bugs and when we called the office desk he said we need to clean the mattress and it may have came from the previous fuse that was in the room . I will be filing a BBB complaint because this was unacceptable

The smell of cigarette smoke in lobby was overwhelming along in our room. Bathroom was dirty. Found hair under the covers on bed. Could easily hear neighbors. My favorite part of the stay was finding roaches crawling in our room. I called the front desk and he said he wasn’t sure what to do about that but he would for sure leave a note so the managers would know.

This location stink like cigarettes the moment you walked in to check in. Then we get to the room the cigarette smell was worse. My daughter them goes in the bathroom turns on the light and there were live roaches. We immediately grabbed our bags, when back to the front desk to be told we can't get a refund and need to contact the 3rd party used to reserve the room.

The room was unbelievably dirty. Everything was covered in dust. Aside from the wash cloths the towels were all dirty including a muddy hand print on one. The sheets were stained. The fitted sheet had a clear cigarette burn in it not to mention the pillows smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. And on top of all that the tv was broken clearly someone had thrown something at it.

Okay experience overall, planned a weekend stay in Lexington for a family event and chose this place to stay for a night. Key to the room was spotty, it would take a while to get in sometimes. Booked a nonsmoking room, but the room smelled like a carton of cigarettes. Bed has random smalls spots. Bed was also lopsided, and I had to fix it myself. And bathroom door wouldn't close properly. Looked someone had previously kicked it in. Everything else was fine. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here if you’re planning it. But for a last minute thing, it’s fine. There was two cats outside, which was a nice and happy surprise. I hope they’re doing okay.

Spend a couple of bucks more and greatly increase your satisfaction by going somewhere else. The hotel is old, needs updates and the front desk staff was surly. Our room was tiny (king bed with 2’ on either side. There was no cold water in the sink, cigarette burn marks on the duvet (in a non-smoking room), charges to use the safe… just not a good place. It was clean.

For the price, the room was clean, nothing fancy and I'm okay with that. My only complaint is the mattress. It had a huge crater in the middle. That mattress needed to be thrown away a few years ago. Check in was quick and easy, room was clean.

The room had a sink that would not turn off. It just ran a full stream constantly. The grounds were not very attractive. It was clean enough and the bed was comfortable but lacked charm and needed some minor repairs and improvements.

Despite having a non-smoking room, the odor of smoked marijuana was pervasive both within the room and in the surrounding areas. My bed appeared to have been slept in (rumpled sheets and pillows in disarray) and the sheets were not clean. When I called down to the desk, I was told that housekeeping had left for the day and I couldn't get the sheets changed unless I picked sheets up and changed them myself. The bedspread was heavily stained. All of the restaurants nearby are permanently closed. There were people congregating on the outer walkways and carrying on loud conversations until late at night. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable once I changed the sheets and the location is convenient to the interstate.

Upon checking in at midnight, the front desk clerk was a very untidy man, work shirt was stained and disgusting - there was a women in her pajamas showing him how to do things on the computer. Not a good look at all. The staff was not welcoming at all, desk staff and housekeeping - the remote did not work - after telling the morning clerk she didn’t even offer someone to look or a new remote, she kinda just stared at us and said ok. I will definitely never stay at this property again.

Entry to lobby smelled like dense cigarette smoke dust. Attendant was really stale and cold, like she didn’t want to help us. All the appliances were unplugged when we entered the room. Remote to the tv didn’t work and we lost electricity in the morning. The electricity wasn’t their fault but they did nothing to accommodate us. Oh and there was a group of gentlemen guests across the way getting drunk from 3pm til past we went to bed. Hotel did nothing about this belligerency. So it was fun!

I’ve stayed at some nice Red Roofs…. This was not one. The hotel staff that checked me in was less than pleasant, the room had stains all over and smelled like we were sleeping in an ashtray. The toilet wouldn’t flush, there was a room that looked like someone lived there full time and there was animal feces alllllll over the grass by the room. There were construction noices all morning, and the area just did not feel safe, looked very sketchy.

Everytime I saw staff she was smoking right outside the lobby door. You had to walk through the smell to get inside. It was my mistake for not noticing that they offered no breakfast, microwave or refridgerator in the rooms. I assumed those services would be available because all other motels offered these three items for the same or cheaper price. The outside of the buildings had much disrepair and litter scattered about.
