Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center

This was our second stay at the Embassy suites. It’s very clean and quiet even with much activity going on in the atrium area. The breakfast buffet is very good, as well as the end of the day reception. The fitness center is adequate and it is very close to a 3 mile trail if you’d like to run or walk.

There are a few things to note if its your first stay. They put a hold of $100 on credit card for incidentals. Which can take a few days to repost on your account. The parking isn't free, they charge over $9 a day. That would be my only negative. If you stay at a hotel you shouldn't have to pay to park. Other then that, breakfast was great, adults get 2 complimentary drinks in the evening. I wish they had the outdoor pool open but it was closed while we where their, due to weather I would have to guess. The rooms are great, beds where a little small, thought we had purchased queen beds, but it was more like a Full size beds. All in all it was a great stay.

Very nice property and awesome breakfast, as always! Room was comfortable and clean. Only issue we have is parking charge. Not happy about this. My brother came by to see us and was told he would also have to pay $9.00. He left.

Hotel on a beautiful golf course. Friendly, courteous, prompt staff. Large suites. Lots of amenities. Minuted away from downtown Greenville. Appreciate the evening reception for guests and the free buffet breakfast. Highly recommend.

We had to wait to check in. The air conditioning wasn't working properly so they brought us a fan, (1st fan didnt work either).Breakfast buffett was cold however the omelets were fantastic. Never used the pool since a kid threwup in it and later ther was feces from another kid. Checkout lady was very courteous.

Disappointed tgar both the pools were closed and that the overall appearance seems to have gone downhill.

The best part about this property was the shuttle service. The hotel’s shuttle drivers are the best. The service provided transportation to the airport and also downtown.

I was surprised and disappointed that a charge was applied to park each day. This was a property open parking lot and very few cars there during our visit. Never have seen this before. Manager’s reception was limited to only 2 choices of domestic beer. Snacks were limited and not refilled during the manager’s reception. I have found other hotels to be a place I’d rather stay.

A short business trip was certainly accentuated by a wonderfully restful stay. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay from the room to the service. The only complaint was the very cold indoor pool. I had looked forward to a relaxing dip. Short of that my stay was perfect. Thank you!

The breakfast was sub par, Embassy suites in Boca Raton Florida has 200% better breakfast more variety of fruits made to order omelette are excellent there/ horrible on Greenville. Made to order pancakes are not in Greenville, no yogurts no bagels no grapes, no honeydew. Bugs in our bathroom in Greenville and flea bites from Room.

Our stay overall was good. A couple stars were knocked off for cleanliness because of some missed areas in our room and incorrect information about vending locations. Our room was spacious and quiet, despite being directly across from the elevator. The office chair in the room had a dry cleaning tag, open safety pins, and a fake nail in the crease where the seat meets the back. Long dark curly hairs, that did not belong to me nor my husband, were on the shower glass. Some of the white leather chairs in the dining area at breakfast looked like they had layers of greasy grime in various areas. They really just needed to be replaced. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady working the omelet station during weekend breakfast had great vibes and did a great job managing the line and everyone’s omelet orders. - The information about the resort (typically seen in a like a spiral bound binder) is online. Each room has a QR code that you scan. The information may need to be updated because the vending machines were shown to be available on every floor. There is not a single vending machine on any floor. Only the Sundries shop behind the lobby desk is where you can get something to drink at 3:00 in the morning. The grounds surrounding the hotel are attractive and inviting. My husband and I took a short walk after breakfast and were pleased to see that the outdoor areas were landscaped and very well kept.

The room was extremely dirty, furniture and carpet were stained and outdated. It looked very dingy and unkempt. Walls were dirty, stained and ripped. Bathtub was stained yellow and did not work properly. I also found a cockroach in the lobby. I called and asked for a refund.

The area around the sink in the room smelled terrible. They gave us febreeze to spray.

Very disappointed with cleanliness of rooms bathroom. There were dark hairs all over ceiling in bathroom, no exhaust fan, and also the shampoo and conditioner bottles had residue and gunk on them in the shower. Not what you expect with a nice hotel.

Good experience… we stay at this hotel often as we have family that live in the area! Location is great and we really enjoy the breakfast and breakfast staff… the omelette station and the lady that works there are amazing! We enjoy the size of the suites

Our room was clean and cool. We chose a corner suite and it was very spacious. The breakfast was great as always. Hattie made perfect omelets. However, the TVs kept freezing (ES is using a streaming service instead of cable now), one of the staff members at the desk acted as if they’d rather be anywhere else, and the new parking fee is a joke. The furniture is beginning to show its age. Nice pillows but the mattresses and couch cushions are wearing out.

The embassy needs to update their rooms there is nothing chic or luxury or even upscale about the decor anymore

Everything was wonderful except the TV. It kept buffering and kept pausing it did not make for good viewing.

Hotel is excellent except for the beds. Too hard for me. Back hurt the next day.

Room as too warm and tried to adjust the temp but it never got cool. Tried the wifi but it never worked.

I have two items that affected the quality of my stay. First, there was a note taped to the thermostat stating that if the room did not cool to turn the thermostat off and contact the front desk to have maintenance come and check on the issue. Due to my stay being short, I chose not to involve maintenance, but did want to leave a note that during my stay in room 605, the room did not cool down even with both sets of shades closed and both the bathroom and suite doors closed. Second, one of the primary reasons I booked this hotel was that it offered a shuttle to the airport, however, I did not find out until after all my travel was booked, that the shuttle only runs during specific hours, and the time I needed to be at the airport by was too early (5:30am for a 7:30am flight) so I had to book myself an Uber. I believe the shuttle hours should be available to consumers prior to booking to help others not encounter the same issue. Overall these were a mild nuisance and the rest of my stay was enjoyable.

I was never able to get my room to cool off which made sleep difficult for me. I was told that the system they had was old and that it was either cool or hot air for everyone and the only way to try to cool down was to turn the system off in my room. Made for some sleepless nights.

This emabassy suite was very dated. The furniture looked like it came from the thrift store. The bath tub drain super slow and it was dirty. The the yellow bulbs in the room made it feel like we are in the 70's. Very dated rooms. I will not be back.

The rooms were hot. The air blew into the living room, but not into the bedrooms. The beds are small and the mattresses are hard. The lobby has been remodeled, but the suites were outdated.

Great staff!! Everyone was so helpful and nice in helping us with our needs on the trip. Hotel and lobby were very nice. Room was a bit dated but got the job done. Pool was great for the kids.

This is my go to hotel when I want a change of scenery from home. Breakfast is always good,the staff is always friendly and hotel is always clean!

We got checked in and went up to our room and unlocked the door and was stopped in our tracks there. There was a couple already booked into that room and it was a good thing that they were nice because it could have been really ugly. Went downstairs and told the lady at the desk and she fixed our room and gave us a bag of junk food that we can’t eat because I am celiac and there was no let me give you a complimentary night to any Embassy no NOTHING! The sad part is this did NOT just happen to us there was 3 others that I know of.

Had to pay to park in the parking lot … lady at the front desk didn’t even greet me.. stared and then when I said my name finally she said oh a door dash… I said no I’m staying here. Jeez.. there was a altercation in the lobby late at night and the bed was uncomfortable… just wasn’t worth almost $200 for one night

Everything about my stay was exceptional. Staff was very attentive. Check in was great and the Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back .

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites Resort in Greenville, SC. The staff exhibited exceptional professionalism. Our two-room suite was comfortable and offered stunning views of the golf course. The breakfast was outstanding, and the complimentary social hour, complete with two free cocktails, was a delightful addition. Overall, our experience was exceptional. P.S. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend checking them out; you will not be disappointed.

We have stayed at this property many times and each time never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and eager to help in anyway.

Quiet environment, excellent breakfast setting w/great food selection. Fast elevators & wait staff was professional & very courteous.

The front desk service is OUTSTANDING! Our room had an issue with the bathroom drain and they offered to send up an engineer right away. There was some leftover chips behind the couch, but no biggie. It was so quiet and I didnt hear the room next to us or even the stairs door. Heated pool was great. Wifi worked great. Service overall sold it for me. They responded right away via texting and checked on us entire stay. Breakfast was great and even the workers there were soooo sweet! We usually stay elsewhere every month, but will be here from now on.

Service was not great at all. The 1st staff member I Encountered upon check in was less than helpful and rather rude. We arrived on a saturday evening and apparently they do not do housekeeping services on sunday. We went out for most of the day on Monday to come back to still have housekeeping done. The knocked at 3pm and asked what we needed in terms of supplies and didn’t offer to take our dirty towrls that piled up for 2 days and i also forgot to give them. The hotel is very clean, has lots of room to hang out inside and outside and the breakfast is huge and had so many choices.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is a short drive from major highways, which kept away traffic noise but made it easy to find and leave after our stay. There is a large shopping area less than one mile from the property with many fast food options. Downtown is a 10 - 15 minute drive with restaurants although parking may not be free. We stayed in a suite with king - sized bed. The outer room was furnished with a pull out sofa bed, love seat, coffee table and chair. There was a kitchen area with small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sink. The bathroom was connected to the outer room. The bedroom has a door to allow for privacy. The room was tastefully furnished, bed clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Peaceful location

Not close to downtown Greenville but a very nice property. Rooms are nice and breakfast is excellent in variety, quality and service.

The made to order omelette was delicious! The lady who runs that station is exceptional stay after stay when we go to that hotel and we visit it often! I wish I knew her name to recognize her here!!

Good place to stay for a wedding. Lobby is huge to hang out with all your family and friends. Great drinks at the bar and food at the restaurant and breakfast is wonderful.

Worst breakfast ever. Leather sausage, no bacon or hash browns. Soft cantelope and over ripe bananas.French toast was sliced bread dripped with egg wash baked in a gummy loaf. Couldn't finish this disaster. Dinner menu soarse but wings &fries were good.Happy hour line for coupon drinks was log for one bar tender. The other server just four patrons. Great property & rooms with limited good dinner and awful breakfast. Staff was friendly and front dest helpful with directions.

Great location for us. Breakfast was great, with food options and omelets. Suites are always roomy and we enjoyed the normal sofas (compared to the stupid modern ones in newer trendy hotels). But our room needed a little updating. Overall great experience.

Everything was great except breakfast. We got there about 845 (it closes at 930), and i got cold eggs, cold bacon, and cold sausage... And they dont offer waffles! But I'll say again, everything else was great.

I honestly keep coming back here because the breakfast is awesome. Love it. Will keep coming back as long as they provide the breakfast I like with the healthy options. The hotel also stays very quiet at night, which is much appreciated. The staff is always accommodating and adamant about customers having great stays.
