WoodSpring Suites Greenville Airport

The facility is pretty new and very clean. Initially, we thought this would be a really nice place to stay. However, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. There were constant pounding noises above us all night long (we were on the 2nd floor) and the clerk at the front desk, simply said it’s like that in all the rooms. We had to wait at the front desk for over 15 minutes for someone to show up to help us. There are no hair dryers in the room and when I asked for one at the front desk, they said they would try to find one for us, but never did.

Hotels.com overbooked our stay and never contacted me in regards to this. Very unhelpful

Screaming kids in the lobby. Screaming kids in the hallway. Screaming kids in the middle of the night. Dirty bathroom sink. Mysterious red rag under the bed. Noisy HVAC fan. On the other hand, it was inexpensive and close to the GSP airport. Lots of dinner options just the other side (by car) of the Interstate.

The staff has really treated me nice

The hotel was overbooked by a number of rooms. The room given to us initially was disgusting to say the least. There was smeared food on the walls, table, and sticky floors. There was food in the sinks, food crumbs and goo in the drawers and microwave, and dead bugs in the drawers. There was hair in the "clean sheets". When i asked for a new room, there none. They said there were over 8 rooms overbooked. I had to wait over 45 minutes to get a refund and they said "these things happen". It left several customers without rooms for the night traveling. For a newer hotel, it has been unkept. Sad... unfortunately I will not be staying here and hope there are changes for future guest.
