Awesome service from Initial call to checking out. Shuttle service for the airport and downtown is a plus. Full breakfast in the mornings is a must to include with your room stay. The breakfast is well worth the small extra cost. No need to pay extra costs to stay downtown when you can easily use the shuttle or take a Lyft. We will be back!

This turned out to be a very nice hotel, with many extra amenities. The salt water, indoor pool and fitness center/workout room was wonderful! The upscale bar had 2 flatscreen TV for sports and news, offered plenty of room. It also served as the hot breakfast area. Though it felt strange having to pay extra for that, the food was hot, plentiful, and excellent. Several computers were available in the large business area. The staff was polite and friendly. The side parking lot was safe, and the location had very close access to I-385 and Haywood Rd.

I liked the lobby space which included private cubicles with tables and your own TV. They had an indoor pool but the heater was broken so we couldn’t take advantage of it.Comfy beds, very quiet but did not like the weed smell that came through in our vents the last night.

My wife and i stayed at this hotel and very much enjoyed it. We liked the bar in the lobby. Everyone was very nice. THe pool was nicely heated for our grandchildren. Breakfast was good. Staff was great.

The Crowne Plaza is a very clean and quiet hotel. The staff were all very friendly, breakfast had a good variety and was yummy and there was always parking available near the entrance. Check in and check out were both a very smooth process. Room was equipped with the essentials needed (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, soap, lotion and a mini fridge) as well as plenty of towels for our stay. It's conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown Greenville! If you're sensitive to smells, the air conditioner unit in the room does have a slight unpleasant smell to it but for no more than we were in our room, it didn't bother us too much. I believe it is only in the rooms because the remainder of the hotel smelt clean! Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return when back in Greenville!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel location was perfect for our needs. Easy access to the highway and getting to downtown Greenvillewas a plus. The hotel itself was comfortable. No noise complaints or smoking in the hotel and the environment was calm and friendly. I found the rear parking to be awful because of the incline to walk to the hotel, but you have the option to park in front or the side of the hotel. I did not take advantage of the hotel breakfast or Ruth Chris located at the hotel but liked that it was an option. I would definitely stay again.

We chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle. It turns out that the shuttle is often unavailable. They give preference to the airline staff. I had to take a taxi to get to the hotel because the shuttle was “busy “ even though they have 2 vans! I was also unaware that the hotel was so far from the airport. I probably would not choose this hotel again for these reasons.

The A/C was broken in our first room so after about an hour or so, they switched us to a different room on the 6th floor. In the hallway, there were literal mushrooms growing in the baseboard when walking to our room. There was also some sort of red mold around the baseboard. It grossed me out. Staff was polite, but overall didn’t seem to care to be there other than to collect a paycheck. I guess you get what you pay for, I wasn’t impressed overall but it was a cheaper stay.

I didn't like the showers, they were built for short people. I'm 5'7" and had to crouch down to get my hair under the water. The shower curtain was originally placed backwards so i had to correct it. There was a lot of dust on the ceilings and the wall paper is worn.

Room was dirty and dusty. Pullout bed for grandchildren had old food under the sofa cushions…. Change that fell out of someone’s pocket. Extremely uncomfortable… has to call for linens and make it myself. Sofa cushion stained with something. Disgusting. Bathroom door did not close. Handle broken. Smell in room. I was offered another room after calling corporate…. Will not stay there again.

Indoor pool full of kids at 10:30 pm. Impossible to sleep. Wish I had booked elsewhere. Amenities are nice. I called front desk at 10pm to ask when pool closed bc it was so loud. They just said 11pm and hung up… This is louder than you could imagine even w TV on and I’m a father of a child who is used to this… Never get an interior room in the tower. Exterior only or you will be longing for a motel 6 with roaches and drunk construction workers..

Good location. Beds are small. The king is not a true king sized bed. The indoor pool area needs work but it is indoors and open. The front desk staff is outstanding. Brook and Shakira (apologies if this is wrong but I know it began with an S) were both awesome during each of my stays. The hotel is nice and has a Ruth Chris steakhouse on site.

Checking into the property was quick and easy. It is located very conveniently right off of the interstate. The lobby was clean and spacious. I was directed to use the side door entrance as it was closer to the elevators and I was traveling with a young child however I would state that they need to remove the smoking area from right beside the back door. The room was dated, and the furniture looked like it had water damage as well as the bottom of the bathroom door there was some stains on the walls that were very questionable. However, the beds were super comfortable. I ordered a crib to be in the room when I did my reservation however, when I got to the room, the crib was sitting outside of the door in the hallway, I don’t know how long it sat there. I’m also happy that I brought my own crib sheet because the sheet that they gave me did not look very clean. I was a little disappointed in the state of the room. There were issues with the drapes that did not look like they were hung properly and the stains on the wall. I was very reluctant to let my child Down to walk around in the room. As I fear she touch something that was not quite clean. I expected more from Crown Plaza properties. The breakfast area was nice and clean however, the lobby area just below the breakfast area. The tables were not maintained, and they look like someone had eaten and left crumbs all over the place it was a holiday weekend, but it would’ve been nicer if more attention was paid to details

Located conveniently near the exposition center. But while the common areas appear in good shape and well kept, the rooms seem to have some deferred maintenance issues. Our AC didn't work in our first room, but staff moved us to another one, however that one was a bit musty smelling and had a loose shower head. Some of the repairs were obviously done by amateurs. However, staff was consistently great and helped with any problems. It appears they are making an effort to bring things back up to snuff.

We had the most disrespectful person check us in who was talking about us within ear shot about how dare we ask to check in early and that we were not better than anyone else.. we both were shocked and couldn’t believe that a simple question and confirmation on the phone that we could check in early, would lead to this extreme disrespect of a customer. I couldn’t give lower scores for this place. We called and tried to speak to the manager, non on staff but they gave us a breakfast voucher for our troubles… absolutely ridiculous

The crowne plaza did not meet my expectations. This brand name used to be top tier. I walked in to the check in counter with no line. I was told to wait while the employee checked in other patrons. I waited and a second employee came up instead of asking if anyone had been waiting to check in she checked in a man who had just entered the lobby. Once the initial employee who told me to wait finished she assisted me. She was brief and unwelcoming. While the other guests received bottled waters and information about the property I received just the room key. The room was okay. There was hair in the bedcovers and towels. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off. The ceiling appeared to have water damage and paint peeling. I wouldn’t return to this property or recommend it to anyone I know.

Staff was very courteous and efficient. My only complaint was with housekeeping. The bed make up looked nothing like the bed when I checked in. Clearly someone rushed through making the bed. I also left towels on the floor in the bathroom on Saturday morning and they were still there when I came back Saturday night! Otherwise, a great visit and I would come back!

I was disappointed. The Hotels.com page says there are two restaurants and the Q&A said the hotel restaurant served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That is simply not true. The only restaurant was a Ruth's Chris that is attached and open only in evenings. I specifically picked this hotel because it listed a restaurant open through the day, so I was disappointed and felt misled. I paid for the breakfast option, which was good but also very underwhelming. The one morning I ate breakfast there the beverages consisted of one table with only one container of regular coffee, one small pitcher of OJ, and water. I've stayed at a Homewood Suites that offered more for the free continental breakfast. The furniture in the room was also very worn and there was dust buildup in places. My view was awful - when I looked out my window, I was eye level with a roof with electrical boxes/equipment. Though the location was good and the staff friendly, I doubt I'll stay here again.

The hotel was clean, beautiful, and nicely decorated. The bathroom toiletries were awesome quality. The man who checked us in barely made eye contact and appeared to not enjoy his job. Neither “bartender” we had was able to make a basic vodka martini without checking their notes. The breakfast buffet was adequate as an included amenity but I wouldn’t have paid the $16 charge for it. I had to ask for decaf coffee since they only had regular coffee available….and beware, they make STRONG coffee!

There were no fruits to choose from, no waffle or pancakes, but theere was bagels and sliced bread. they charged $17 for buffet breakfast. and somertimes they make up the bed.changee of sheets for 3 days. The carpet was dusty and looked old. I will not stay there again. I will not recommend a stay there. My stay was for 3day.

There were a few discrepancies at check-in, but the staff resolved those quickly. Overall service was great and the location was convenient to the Bon Secour center, the mall, and alot of leisure places and restaurants. Ruth Chris is connected to the hotel as well and provided breakfast for a reasonable fee.
