They were in the midst of remodeling , so no Starbucks and very limited restaurant services. One of the three elevators was out of service, so we took the stairs several times. There is no counter space around the sink in the bathroom. I was very disappointed overall.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. It’s in the heart of downtown Greenville, surrounded by good restaurants and shops. Walkable and safe. On the downside, the pool closes at 9 pm, which felt disappointing. No microwaves in the rooms.

Beautiful and very clean hotel. The only down fall is they only have Valet parking($30 a day) or you park in the public’s parking garage next door. Otherwise very close to the Arena.

Pay extra for Main St or Panoramic View room. It’s well worth the upcharge. Hotel is bustling with activity. Room service is available and the Starbucks on site was a bonus for morning coffee, although Hyatt did provide a mini single serve coffee brewer and free coffee pods and Twinings tea. Modern furnishings. Large flat screen tv. Parking garage right next door $7 per day and second floor direct access to the hotel was convenient. Area is super clean for downtown. Walk down to river and use the walking trails. Beautiful area for a stay.

Location of hotel was great. Rooms were a bit dated and bar area was nice but too few bartenders. Long waits. Not happy about parking situation. We paid $10 which is what the valet person told us for staying at hotel but apparently we paid $10 for the Shinedown event PLUS another $7 the next morning to get out of the garage.

The room was very clean. The hotel atrium is beautiful! The location is walkable to Reedy Falls Park and we felt safe in and around the hotel and in town. Only one person camping out in the courtyard and as we were visiting from Charlotte that was nothing! Their restaurant was under going renovations and nothing was mentioned about limited hotel dining options during booking or when checking in. The mini version of their restaurant was overrun by tradeshow participants, they could have been relocated to another room. There are a lot of restaurants in town but many of those were either closed for the day or also undergoing reno. A nice hotel stay overall despite the bad timing on dining options.

Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great dinner at Roost on Friday night in the bar with great service from Keith. The filet was cooked perfectly and was delicious. We also had great service at the bar on Saturday night from the other bartender whose name we’ve sadly forgotten but he was funny and had good stories. It was great having our room refreshed after the first night stay. Room was clean and quiet which we greatly appreciated. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast buffet. For the price we didn’t feel like it was worth it because the food was disappointing (e.g., pastries were hard and eggs were runny).

Nice hotel woulda gave excellent had the restroom been clean/cleaner and also updated the room was very nice however the bathroom was tiny and definitely not the cleanest. Besides that would give 8.5/10.

The lobby was nice, the air conditioning was great and the beds were comfortable. I thought the hotel could have been cleaner. When you get off the 8th floor, the cabinet in the seating area was covered in dust during my entire stay. I thought there were also areas in my room that could have been cleaner. The bathroom door could have been dusted on the side of the bathroom in the grooves, also the wall behind my bed as well as the wall behind the desk had splatter stains that should have been wiped down.

Room was not clean. Had eating utensils on the floor and food. Tried to let staff know but they were overwhelmed at the front desk. Took 20 min to valet car then when we left had to end up just going to get ourselves. We will be asking for a refund in room and parking. Was ridiculous and not sanitary. Would have not stayed the night if we had other options so Late.

The property location is great. However, our room was not properly cleaned. The bedding was stained. We called and let the staff know. The response was “ok” no apologies or offer to switch the sheets. We asked them to bring clean new bedding and it took a long time to get them.

Property is overall nice, the room cleanliness was definitely lacking. There was thick dust build up on the air vent right above the shower head. I woke up each morning with congestion feelings which I believe were linked to the ac unit above the bed

The location was great. I’ve stayed in this location before and it was beautiful. I decided to book a night at the Hyatt because I wanted to treat my daughter to an extra special stay. I was disappointed in the current condition of the hotel. I noticed peeling paint, mold in the shower, and a strong chlorine smell in the lobby.

Large hotel with a beautiful lobby. Overnight parking is very reasonable. The pool was quiet and nice. The “mini fridge” in the room aren’t actually fridges though. They are “coolers” and not meant to keep medicine or food cold. So that’s something to keep in mind if you like having milk or leftovers.

We loved the view in our Panorama Room. It was very open, with different angles out toward the city. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I'm a techie, so I also appreciated the easy connection of my own HDMI and Bluetooth devices.

This was my second time staying here for business. The Roost restaurant still under construction but plenty of nice restaurants walking distance. My room was ok, a little run down and the hallways (5th floor) smelled like wet dog. Maybe for future, a specific floor is reserved for anyone traveling with pets. Unfortunately the WiFi was not working and I was unable to do to work on my lap top

The hotel was lovely from the outside. It was apparent that the lobby area had been recently updated and was lovely. Our room was ok…EXCEPT the bathroom was horrendous. There was not 1 counter, shelf or hook in which to put toiletries or towels. It took over 20 minutes to get hot water to the shower (which had horrible water pressure) and immediately upon exiting the shower it took another 15 minutes to get hot (or warm) water to the sink. The sink was falling off the wall so nothing could be placed on the edge. The lobby bartender was rude and the drinks were extremely over priced. We were looking forward to dining at The Roost and had viewed a very extensive menu online. We arrived and were handed a menu with about 6 items and when we remarked on this, we were just told it is what they have, but it is good. No one explained that the restaurant was under construction. To say the least we ate elsewhere. The front desk clerks apparently did not enjoy working there…or lacked sleep. Not good. The breakfast waitresses were wonderful!! The hotel has a great location, but NOT worth the price.

The AC did not work in our room the first night and it was so hot. Ended up moving rooms the second night, and it was a big improvement, but still struggled with being hot. Once the air would cycle off and there was no air flow in the room, it would get warm again. Bed not comfortable. Staff was nice, but won’t be staying here again. Not worth the money paid.

The property was very nice. However, the refrigerator in the room had a sign that said that it wasn't cold enough for medicine or food. I'm not sure why you would have a refrigerator if it is not cold enough to keep food. Also the only microwave is on the floor not in the room.

The hotel was nice but we were in room 481 which is apparently close to a bar or restaurant that plays incredibly loud music well past 2am. We called down to the front desk around 1:30am and the person who answered acted like they’d never had this issue before. When we checked out I played a video I took laying in the bed at 2:30am and the lady said sorry about that but didn’t seem to really care. We weren’t offered any kind of compensation which for $200 a night and not being able to sleep until it got quiet at almost 4am I expected a partial refund. Won’t be staying there again.

Very clean, great staff, perfect location! Nice bar and bartenders for a cocktail after a night out, before bed. Pretty quiet. We had a corner room with a wall of windows and it was beautiful. No complaints and would stay agai.

Faron, the receptionist, was the worst person I've ever had to.deal with checking any where. In all my 38 years I've had smooth check-ins with nice, accomdating people. I couldn't believe the amount of passion aggression and and disrespect he showed us for absolutely no reason and refused to even look up at us while being highly disrespectful and non welcoming. Luckily everyone else was truly helpful and very nice. I couldn't understand why the hotel wasn't rated higher until we come in contact with this man. We were in shocked in how he treated us while all the while still remaining respect to him. The room, restaurant, and bar were great but Faron made sure he put a damper on the first couple hours. He definitely doesn't need to be up front greeting people or have a position where he can treat people so awful. He only chose to act like that when his supervisor, Kristen, went on a 15 minute break and then acted completely innocent whrn she showed back up. He definitely needs to be retrained.

We were unhappy with our suite due to the loud entertainment directly below our window. When I called the desk, our complaint was received by a person who stated that she was the manager, Kristen. Her behavior and response was so unprofessional and discourteous, we would never stay in your hotel again. Rude and confrontational would be an understatement. Anyone I speak to in our Cliffs communities will be advised to recommend another accommodation for their friends and family visiting the area.

We stayed at the Hyatt for a concert and had an awful experience. We arrived at 2:30 to see the lobby filled with people everywhere because there was a dance competition going on. Since they had a mass exodus of people leaving, they told us a room wouldn’t be ready until the normal 4pm check in time which was fine! Unfortunately that didn’t happen, we left to go get lunch and come back around 4:30, people still everywhere but now it wasn’t the dance competition it was all of the people going to the concert. They still didn’t have a room ready and told us they couldn’t do anything even though they have a 4pm guaranteed check in time. So we waited and went back up to the counter at 5:30. The concert started at 7 and now the lobby was full of people getting ready. People scrambling to find outlets to charge their phones or curl their hair. They still couldn’t get us a room so we had no other choice than to get ready in the lobby. When we asked where our bags were, they told us they are in a conference room and a staff member could help us at the door of it. Well there was no staff member, the door was wide open, and all of these bags were left out for anyone to grab. Huge liability! This was so upsetting on top of having to get ready in the lobby. We made sure our bags were locked in the bell closet when we left at 6:45 to the concert. Still no room. We came back at 11pm, now the lines were long for check in since everyone needed a room! Poor management and planning of the hotel

There was an issue with a guest in the room across from ours which caused a lot of commotion and noise in the middle of the night. At some point the police even became involved so needless to say we lost a lot of sleep as a result. The next morning we complained and the hotel manager (Owen Griffeth) was really very good and understanding. He made sure we left satisfied and we appreciated the gesture!

We arrived at 3 pm and were told the rooms were not ready. There were people already waiting 2 hours. We waited several hours later and the room was not ready until 645 pm! There were many ladies using the lobby bathroom to dress for the evening. We should have been given breakfast vouchers or a drink ticket! This was not acceptable

The facility is fabulous, and it is placed in the middle of the most beautiful part of downtown Greenville. You walk out of the hotel and you're in the middle of shopping, the River Walk. And all the other great activities that Greenville has to offer.

Hyatt Regency was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect. We were in the heart of downtown Greenville and could walk to the Arena. I would definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location, easy parking, rooms are nice. Friendly staff but the breakfast buffet was really bad. We paid $53 for 2 persons. The strawberries were old (one rotten), cereal the kind you get at a 2 star hotel, waffle was dry, fruit flies…. Also, the carpet up the stairs leading to Starbucks (nice!) is worn and dirty.

The hotel was lovely from the outside. It was apparent that the lobby area had been recently updated and was lovely. Our room was ok…EXCEPT the bathroom was horrendous. There was not 1 counter, shelf or hook in which to put toiletries or towels. It took over 20 minutes to get hot water to the shower (which had horrible water pressure) and immediately upon exiting the shower it took another 15 minutes to get hot (or warm) water to the sink. The sink was falling off the wall so nothing could be placed on the edge. The lobby bartender was rude and the drinks were extremely over priced. We were looking forward to dining at The Roost and had viewed a very extensive menu online. We arrived and were handed a menu with about 6 items and when we remarked on this, we were just told it is what they have, but it is good. No one explained that the restaurant was under construction. To say the least we ate elsewhere. The front desk clerks apparently did not enjoy working there…or lacked sleep. Not good. The breakfast waitresses were wonderful!! The hotel has a great location, but NOT worth the price.

The room was very clean. The hotel atrium is beautiful! The location is walkable to Reedy Falls Park and we felt safe in and around the hotel and in town. Only one person camping out in the courtyard and as we were visiting from Charlotte that was nothing! Their restaurant was under going renovations and nothing was mentioned about limited hotel dining options during booking or when checking in. The mini version of their restaurant was overrun by tradeshow participants, they could have been relocated to another room. There are a lot of restaurants in town but many of those were either closed for the day or also undergoing reno. A nice hotel stay overall despite the bad timing on dining options.
