We loved the spacious circular room. Breakfast and coffee each day and a fabulous location made for a wonderful getaway! The hotel is on the Reedy River Falls Park and so many restaurants are a short walk away. We parked our car in the city garage attached to the hotel for only $7 per night. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay, but parking issues dictated that we pay ($28 + tip) for Valet parking. The woman at the front desk was helpful in recommending a restaurant nearby in walking distance. One of their two elevators was under repair, making wait time longer for the 5th floor. Their “free” breakfast was ok, but the omelets offered were overcooked and no sweet rolls were available. The coffee was very good, though. We walked to the Peace Center for a show, so the hotel’s location was quite convenient. Aside from parking, this was a great place to spend the night. Now I have to figure out why their bill states that we live in Las Vegas, NV, instead of in SC. Why does this happen?

Everything seemed clean and all the employees are very friendly. The parking garage was full so I used the valet for $25. They were friendly as well. The area is extremely convenient and pretty and seemed decently safe. I would stay here again

Excellent service by staff. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Falls Park, shopping and restaurants are close by. Only issue was one of the two elevators was still not working so longer wait each time for the one available. We used valet parking as the parking lot was full. Not a big issue as we stayed just one night. We enjoyed our stay!

Pros- very convenient and walkable to downtown. Easy self parking, Staff very accommodating and friendly. Good coffee. Cons- Room was not clean. Bed comforter had stains and bathroom/desk counter areas were spotty. Staff was very accommodating however and they took care of this promptly. Breakfast included was below par for what you would expect for this type of hotel.

The check in was very smooth. They allowed to let us check in early. Unfortunately, the mattress cover was dirty. The king sheet was stained and only came down about 2 inches on the side thus it kept coming off. I pulled all the bedding off when we were leaving to encourage the staff to replace everything. The air conditioner was blowing like a gale force wind all night right on my face. I had to get up and put a towel on the vent to try to limit the impact.

This is our favorite hotel in the area. It is beside the beautiful Fall Park, and there are great dining options nearby. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and very large. Beds are comfortable. The free breakfast buffet has quite a variety of foods and is always fresh.

Great view from room and very friendly staff. During our visit the hotel was under renovation which was not a problem. But we had to wait over an hour before the room was ready after check-in time, then we found the linens were not changed and had food/stains on them. Housekeeping arrived quickly and fixed the issue, but by then our overall experience had been ruined.

Our room was freezing cold when we entered it at 67 degrees. The air conditioning was blasting away. I turned the temperature up to 72 and the room became comfortable. We turned off the air conditioning completely at 6:00 PM and still the room remained cool. Clearly our room, and I assume others, are over-conditioned which wastes a ton of energy. Furthermore, the dining room was so unpleasant because freezing cold, that we had to take out breakfast out to tables in the hallway to eat. Hampton Inn should reconsider this policy.

The location right by the river was great. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I wish the water pressure was higher in the shower though. The included breakfast was one of the best ones ever offered by a hotel. If we ever go back to Greenville SC I would definitely stay there again!

I had a meeting with my clients and they planned a dinner afterwards to celebrate my birthday. I booked this hotel. In the night the air conditioner broke and it sounded like something was blowing up in my room. I got up and turned it off quickly my room got very hot as it was July, but it was the middle of the night so I thought I would wait till the next morning when I checked out to tell them and they would credit my room back, they said they couldn’t and they gave me a bottle of water and a granola bar sadly unacceptable.

When we arrived on Saturday afternoon, the woman working the reception area was rude to me upon check in and was rude again when I asked her a question that evening about whether there was a outdoor seating area at the hotel. When people spend their hard earned money, they expect kindness at the very least from facility employees.

Hotel was great but Vallet lost the keys to my brand new Mercedes. Vallet was a contractor that the hotel used. I was stranded for 2 extra days trying to get a new key. Such a nightmare.

Hotel is in a great location with access to a walking path that leads to anywhere you'd like to go in the city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the immediate area, The room is nicely sized and bed was comfortable. Overall a great stay for my wife and I. The only small problem we had was that services skipped cleaning our room one of the days. Honest mistake and not a big deal as we received clean towels only moments after contacting housekeeping.

Everything was beautiful, all staff was more than kind and amazing during our stay besides management. Manager was extremely rude and disrespectful. Will never be back again due to her. Would not want to stay somewhere where a manager treats her customers the way she does. Her name is Joby Chanko.

Perfect place to stay for a short trip to GVL. The location is amazing and I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Easy access to restaurants, shops and there’s a Publix 10 mins away (and a CVS less than 10 mins away). Loved being right next to the river and Main Street. You need to sign up for a Hilton account for WiFi or else you have to pay, otherwise no complaints at all! The staff was so nice and I would absolutely stay here again.

Asheville is very "Dog Friendly" and so was this Hotel/Suite. The rooms were clean and the balcony we had, looked over a portion of "The Reedy" River. Shops and Restaurants were walkable and we were literally a block away from the walking trails around the River. Wish we would have brought our bikes....next time!

We loved staying here. Greenville is trendy and beautiful--has lots of dining options. The hotel is conveniently located and was clean and modernized. Breakfast was good. City of Greenville has a parking garage immediately next door for $7/day. Would certainly stay here again.

We absolutely loved our 3-night stay at Hampton RiverPlace and how we were able to easily park on Friday and not have to drive anywhere again until we checked out on Monday. The location is perfect for walking to the Falls, the Peace Center, coffee shops, restaurants (both casual and fancier), shops and a drug store. Every staff member we talked to was friendly, helpful and would remember something about us when we saw them again. Breakfast was surprisingly good - don’t miss the Western omelets! - with lots of options including eggs, sausages, potatoes, make your own waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc. It was so good we ended up cancelling one of our brunch reservations! We had a riverview king room and the view was amazing with windows in two directions to watch people and dogs walk by the river, the bed was comfy, the room was clean and spacious and the bathroom was great, with really nice amenities. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a lovely property right on the River front in downtown Greenville. Valet or self parking available. They are currently renovating the breakfast area ao the breakfast was grab and go which was disappointing. Once it is completed it will be lovely.

Hotel and room were updated and clean! Comfortable beds. Good breakfast selection but eating area could be bigger. It was quite crowded with no seats available which was ok as we took food back to our room. Staff were all friendly! Self park was convenient but there is no signage for it!
