This hotel was convenient and had the best staff, great people. Always helpful and smiling, doing a great job. The owners just don't take good care of it. Maintenance and upkeep is sloppy. Our room was great with a living room and the bed was super comfy, I just wish they would do better at the upkeep. Only one elevator worked. We would stay there again for the convenience and as I mentioned, the staff was amazing.

The pool was closed pretty early in the evening, 9pm, and opened fairly late the next morning so we did not get the opportunity to enjoy it. The room was nice and clean.

always a polite and nice place to stay, the saturday day birthday pool party and saturday night adult partying was a bit loud and the giant atrium makes it hard to keep the pool warm.

The property was really nice but cold. The breakfast was rather lacking of juice, non pork products the phone system, enternet and one elevator was down thecwhole time. I had to go downstairs to retrieve essentials.

Looks promising at first until you get inside your room once you get in there everything is completely outdated carpet smells when you go in and pull the blankets back. We found food in our bedding as well as blood on our pillowcases and on our sheets. We also found things on the walls that we aren’t sure if it’s bodily fluids or what it was. We felt very uncomfortable With having a shower there so we did not shower. We waited until our next stop. Behind the door was the air exchange vents and inside was stuffed insulation dirt amongst other things. None of the fans worked. The pool was extremely noisy open to everybody as well as we watched a child throw up in it. It was just too much wish I could get my money back. It was absolutely horrendous very upset.

The first room they placed is in was DIRTY. There ever public hair in the bathroom sink. There wasn’t any water pressure either in the bathroom. It was gross. The second room was better but still lacking.

Our family had a terrible experience with this property. We arrived after an 8 hour drive, only to find boogers on the wall, stains and hair on the comforter and hair ties on the floor. We were transferred to another room - same problems. We tried a third room - even dirtier. Management refuses to answer our calls and accept a waived approval from Expedia for a full refund. I believe management is posting falsified reviews of their own property. We ended up staying at Spark by Hilton, directly next door, and highly recommend. The Comfort Suites is unkempt, run down, and absolutely horrific. Would not recommend by any means. There are much better options for the exact same price in the area.

The room needs a total renovation. There were stains on the curtains, walls. Floors didn’t look clean—a dead roach in the bedroom corner along with other small debris. The twin mattress for the sofa bed was flat and looked very well used, with crumbs under the bed protector. The air conditioner was not working it was extremely hot. Mold growth in the shower caulk. Honestly not sure why there are any good reviews about this place. The true definition of you get what you pay for.

There were stains on the bedspread and on the curtains. The ceiling above the shower was pealing and flaking into the bathtub. ( I have photos) The complimentary bathroom items had a thick, sticky substance on them. So gross. Complimentary Breakfast: coffee was burnt, the orange juice was thick like heavy cream and there were rotten oranges in the fruit basket. Hotel is outdated, dirty and rundown. NOT worth the money.

Located within a suburban shopping complex the hotel afforded several restaurant options. The beds were comfortable and suite rooms large. Wood work showed a bit of wear. 2 TVs were fine. Hvac was a bit noisy.

Staff was OK - but not sure who designed the Rooms to all face the giant kiddie pool??? Noise from screaming kids was absolutely horrendous. Hours upon hours of screaming kids was a less than relaxing experience.

Front desk was friendly and courteous. Checking in and out without any problems. The hotel itself has a very nice atmosphere. Our room had a rather noisy cooling unit(?) hidden behind a poorly fitted piece of drywall in the sleeping room which was a bit difficult to zone out once we settled for the night. Otherwise a rather comfortable stay at an affordable price.

The suites at this Comfort Inn are roomy with a full family style room in the front and the bedroom separated by a hall in the back. This is ideal if you have kids who need to go to bed early and you want to stay up. The hotel is doing some renovations and one elevator was closed. Depending on the clientele and their pool use the main area of the hotel and the noise can drift into every room. They were good about closing the pool promptly at 9pm but until then it was very loud. The staff were great about trying to be as flexible as possible.

Staff were extremely unhelpful. Refused multiple methods of payment for a deposit despite my room already being payed for. Refused to allow me to check in when I expressed anger at the situation. Refused to give any type of refund. Turned me away at 7 months pregnant with my toddler at 7 o’clock at night. The manager refused to come out and speak with me. He ran and hid when he realized I had an issue and the receptionists started telling me he was unavailable despite Expedia speaking to him on the phone. The funniest part is when I went to the next hotel Tru by Hilton in Thornburg, they had no issue taking my deposit. No issue getting me checked in.

Upon arrival to the hotel, was told the air conditioning for the entire hotel was out. The staff said that a refund couldn’t be issued until Monday morning. Could not find another hotel in the area due to no vacancy. Wife is hours away from home, tired, and no place to stay. Ridiculous!

Everything was acceptable but a pushy and staff . Unknowingly we entered the pool 10 minutes before open. We didnt see the sign. We entered at 10am, the correct open time. That staff acosted us and berated us for entering without permission. I inforned us only he has the authority to remove the "pool closed" sign. Absolutely ridiculous. Power hungry . He refused to give me his name . He said he was going to write an extremely negative comment on my account .

This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. We arrived to find what looked like vomit on the wall and baseboard outside the bathroom door. I reported it to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms for six people. The agent said she’d come clean it if needed, but when I returned to find her, she was nowhere to be found — so we cleaned it ourselves. The next morning, I requested more towel sets and was told I needed to bring two used sets downstairs before getting replacements. Only after explaining we had six people did they hand over the towels. That kind of policy is frustrating and unnecessary. We went down for breakfast around 9:45 AM — it ends at 10 — but the staff was already shutting everything down. My waffle was mid-cook when an employee unplugged the waffle maker without checking. It never finished. At the front desk, I got no apology — just corporate policy talk and a business card to follow up with the manager. They offered to plug it back in and get more batter, but it was too late. I mentioned I was traveling for my father’s funeral, but was told “your issue is personal to you.” No one showed real care the entire stay. This was unacceptable from start to finish. I won’t stay at this hotel or with Choice Hotels again.

The property in general was clean but when we got to our room after 9pm on Saturday night the toilet was never cleaned. There were pee stains on the seat of the toilet and the bathroom floor. I told the front desk staff about it and she basically ignored it. Very disappointing.

Wasn’t as nice as the reviews made it. Staff at breakfast was very rude and did not make anyone feel welcomed, more like rushed and annoyed. Will not be staying here again. Jessica at front desk was very pleasant and gave me an hour later check out which was greatly appreciated.

Staff was very rude and would not accommodate my reservation changes, even within 24 hour notice and contacting Expedia and Comfort Inn management. I will never book with this company ever again. They over booked and gave my room to someone else after I already paid for the room. I am disputing the charges and do not recommend booking at this property. The staff does not care about their customers.

Last minute trip and this our first stay with this brand of hotel The hotel isn't in a great area, but looks nice when you first walk in. The kids were excited to swim, but the pool was dirty and the water extremely murky and cloudy to the point that you can't see the through it. Several kids refused to get in the pool. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom smelled musty and the bed were really, really firm. The breakfast was a massive disappointment. The 4 silver trays were empty except for breakfast sausage. The lady working said they had eggs but they were all gone (breakfast was still on for 90 more mins). They had waffles and off brand dry cereal that was a bit stale. We were staying as a fun surprise for the kids on our way home from an activity in DC because the kids love hotel pools and hotel breakfast. I wasn't expecting a lot because it is listed as a two-star hotel, but I did think that they would be prepared to offer the things they advertise in their listing. sausage

The pool was in a highly visible area. The breakfast was decent. But the gentleman who was keeping stuff fresh was seen cleaning. he was either wiping the tables after people had eaten or wiping the food counters. The rooms were large and laid out nicely. I would stay here again.

The pros: the hotel was surprisingly quiet. They have central air that is super nice. The area around the hotel is great. The cons: the floor in the bathroom was sticky and there was hair on the floor. I wiped the toilet seat with a tissue and it got visibly brown! That was disgusting. The breakfast was mediocre with cheap bagels and cheap yogurt. All in all I would not stay here again and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
