I wanted to swim online didn’t say under renovation

The pool was out of order the entire stay. We chose this property because of the remodeling and indoor pool. The elevator and 2nd floor (where we stayed) smelled of marijuana for half the stay. I'm pretty sure it was from the room across from us. At one point the occupants of that room were yelling and physically assaulting each other in the hallway right in front of our room. It was so bad the police came to the hotel. I spoke to the front desk at least 4 times about the issues. I was only every told the manager was not on property. I left my phone number for management, but was never contacted. I finally spoke with management at checkout and was told his front desk employees never gave him my information or reported the issues. The manager said I should have checked out of the hotel. He also admitted he had about 45 other complaints from the same time period.

Although the management tried very hard to accommodate their customers, the motel itself was just outdated and falling apart. I had a horrible, too soft mattress, which the management changed for another one the next day. The next mattress wasn't much better and had seen better days. The TV channels I wanted to watch were only on at certain times of the day. While I was there, the elevator got stuck with two customers in it. Then I overheard the county water department representative tell the management that the water hadn't been tested for two years. It seemed like the owners just couldn't get a break although I know they were trying. I would not go back.

This property needs to updated.

This was not the worst hotel ever but can definitely tell its not a corporate facility. Bad odor in the elevator, lots of dirt and grime around the ice machines. Pool was very cold and the pool area was very dark before anyone turned on the lights. However the staff was very friendly, and we had no issues with our room. All in all not a terrible experience but nothing to brag about either.

Okay place for a quick night in and out. Not all that clean and the smallest "fitness center" Ive seen with no means to clean equipment after.

The advertised pool was “out of order”, and the continental breakfast was decent but is only available until 9:30, not 10:00 as stated on Expedia. We showed up for breakfast at 9:45 the first morning (along with another hotel guest) and breakfast was still being served so we enjoyed ourselves. The second morning when we showed up at 9:45, I saw that there was still food out but was told they were already starting to “clean up”, so we couldn’t have any. The hotel was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part, but to call this a new or “fully renovated” hotel is a bit of a stretch. They’ve painted the walls and furniture, and put down new carpet. The bathroom in our room was new looking, except for the bathtub and all of it’s fixtures (the bathtub had been painted in spots, the shower head and grab bar were old and rusty, the drain/stopper was broken, and there was hair in the tub). The tile floor was also old, with dirty black grout and dust. It was an odd combination of old and new. Overall, the hotel was average. Staff was very friendly, or else I’d be docking another star.

This was our second stay at this property and will be our last. Although the property was clean and comfortable, the indoor pool was freezing. We have two young children and were staying in Cincinnati in December. We specifically chose a hotel in this location with an indoor pool for our children. When we inquired at the front desk, we were told the heater was broken. Even the air in the pool room was freezing and the lights were off. They clearly did not expect anyone to use that pool. Additionally, the shower handle did not work properly. You could only get hot water with handle in one spot. We booked this as non-refundable room two months in advance. We checked in and then promptly visited a local attraction, arriving back at the hotel after 11. We did not discover the pool temperature or shower handle problems until after breakfast the next morning or we would have considered going to another hotel in the vicinity. If you just need a clean place to sleep, this hotel would be good. If you're traveling with kids and need something to pass the time, I would look elsewhere.

The interior was a little tired and needs some deep cleaning and touch-ups. I felt safe . . . just wasn't the nicest Holiday Inn Express The room furniture was beaten. There was a strong smell of swimming pool and sprays throughout the hotel. Not impressed, but sufficient for a quick overnight if you aren't interested in swimming, breakfast, or do not mind strong spray smells.

When we went to out room, we seen centipedes running. Carpet was nasty, turned my socks black. Shower was gross. Worst part was my vehicle was parked in the parking lot and was broken into. Two windows smashed at 4:35am. Hotel clerk did not alert me to the damage done to my vehicle, until after the police called me and i went outside to see the damage. The clerk told me not to mention the video surveillance to my insurance company. Just give the the police report!! Absolutely worst stay ever!!!!!

The room was not well kept, with stained carpet and unstocked lavatory supplies. Room was not cleaned or tidied during our 2 night stay.

Front desk was super kind a friendly but condition of room was very disappointing. When we arrived they said they only had a room on first floor. Window in room had fingerprints all over it, bathroom floor was dirty, toilet had black gunk in it under the rim and bathtub had rust spot and wasn’t clean. Bed was comfortable so slept good once able to calm down from condition of the room. If rooms could be deep cleaned this would be a decent place to stay as they have a kind front desk and breakfast crew.

This hotel is filthy. The carpets in the common areas are black with dirt and littered with debris. The hotel is run down. The toilet in the bathroom was rusty, the shower nasty and overall the place is a dump. The only good experience was easy check in and kind desk clerk.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Will be staying there again this week.

The staff and cleanliness were excellent. The property is in good condition. I will be back in the future.

It was nicely renovated and clean.

Out dated terrible smell dirty carpet

The curtains won't close. At all. They are not designed to be closed so there is a lack of privacy and the sun coming in. The hotel was in the process of being remodeled so I took that in to consideration. It wasn't clean but it wasn't dirty. Just old and in need of some big furniture updates. Also, the bed was so hard we couldn't sleep and checked out at 4:30 a.m. to go home. On the bright side there was a little pub in the area called the Blue Goose. Some of the best food around!

This is a nice hotel near a variety of restaurants. It was my choice for its proximity to a wedding reception, but it ended up being ideal for a trip to the zoo, only a short drive away and a visit to the Hard Rock Casino, also just a 20 min drive away. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. For me, the bed was very comfortable, but my daughter said she likes a firmer bed so it depends on what you like. I did not eat the breakfast, but my daughter did and she said it had a good variety of hot and cold foods. A couple of things worth mentioning are the coffee bar placement at the hotel and the tub. The coffee bar was right in front of and next to the elevator, so while packing up in the morning, you have to maneuver yourself and luggage off of the elevator around people getting coffee that don’t move out of the way and the tub was slick when I first stepped into it and the bottom of the tub was curved so that you could not stand flat in it… your feet were always on a curved edge which made it, in my opinion, a bit dangerous given how slippery the tub was. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice. Overall, I would stay here again.

The air conditioner was loud all night and the louvres were covered in mold (see photo). The room had a smell to it and the fan between the bedroom and main area was caked with dust/dirt (see photo). I tried to cancel my 2nd night … but I was stuck with it. Have photos but app will not allow me to attach them.

The phone in room didn’t work, didn’t have hair dryer so asked for one and it didn’t work. Room had ceiling breaking off in bathroom.

The inside is in a little better condition than the outside. A few tips- Google took me to a dead end street behind the hotel instead of to the parking lot & entrance I found it but was confused for a minute. There are no USB ports in the room, you will need an adapter. The room was spacious and comfortable. It did have stains on the floor and the minifridge needed defrosted. The shower was not the greatest but got the job done. Breakfast was well stocked. It's a little below the average for this chain. No major issues but I do expect a bit more with this price and from this chain.

The hotel itself was wonderful, but the highlight of our stay was how kindly we were cared for by the people on staff. Thorough, thoughtful, open and warm, the gentleman working the front desk upon our arrival saw to all our needs and questions and made us feel valued. Because of him, we'll be back!

The management was rude, unhelpful, and hung up on me. I will never stay there again

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Will be staying there again this week.

Nice but not great. Convenient to highway, not many food options near. Rooms were decent but bed linens need to be cleaned.

Older hotel newly updated. Fresh paint, fresh towels and linens. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Overall a good value for a short trip.

Peaceful sleep and great breakfast!

There were no linens and bedding for the pull out couch. I received them after I had to go and ask for them from the front office. There are two vents in the room (bedroom and bathroom) that we’re both very dirty. The continental breakfast was disorganized and low on items.

For it to be an Holiday Inn it was extremely over priced for the quality of stay we had. The room was not clean too any standard, the A/C barely worked and the breakfast was below average.

Staff was attentive and very helpful in extending my stay due to a funeral. Breakfast was just ok. Could have potatoes, oatmeal and more cereal options besides fruit loops and corn flakes. Coffee was very good
