Courtyard Kansas City Overland Park/Metcalf, South of College Boulevard

We will definitely be staying here again. The fitness room was fantastic!! Loved that the entire hotel was clean and smelled great.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Scheduled a Board Room for a business meeting at the last moment without a hitch.

Last minute reservation via Expedia. Decent rate for a weekend. Only downside was that they were renovating and the main entrance was completely gated and blocked off. Staff was courteous and the room was great.

This was one of my best hotel stays. The staff was friendly and funny at check-in, making it seem so inviting. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was so comfortable- and I am hard to please when it comes to mattresses! The location was perfect and free parking is always a plus. This will become my go-to place to stay for Kansas City getaways.

These are not queen beds but a long shot. Full at biggest. There was no breakfast, no indoor pool which are a must for families with children. The elevators are in a super inconvenient location, you have to walk half way down the hallway of the first floor.

Stayed the weekend for the Hank Williams Jr concert. Disappointed that although the website said they had a pool, they had closed it in and made a big exercise room after we had already booked. Great courtyard area.

There was a cricket in the room.

Room was clean. Plenty of towels. Refrigerator worked for cold drinks. AC worked. Beds were comfortable. Hair dryer and shower amenities were appreciated.

I have stayed 2 times at this hotel now and each time has been an enjoyable experience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Its nice having the little bistro to grab coffee & breakfast. Our room was very nice. It looked newly renovated. Beautiful luxurious feeling shower, very clean and comfortable beds. Modern furniture, clean carpets and a great balcony. Housekeeping was attentive and made sure to leave clean towels and refill the soaps, makes beds and tidy up. The only minor problem was our coffee maker didn't work, however it didn't matter enough to ask for it to be replaced. I would definitely stay at this property again.

The staff was very welcoming, I didn't get the name of the man who checked us in, and wish I had because I would give him a great review through the hotel. He made several recommendations for restaurants nearby, and was generous about a late check out. We were there for business and only stayed one night. The location was great, anything and everything was 5 minutes or less from the hotel. The beds were comfortable, There was a fridge in the room. The property is under construction, the lobby area and our room were nice. I was disappointed the room had a tiny coffee maker with very generic coffee. They do serve Starbucks in the lobby bar/breakfast area at a charge. Breakfast and/or coffee are not included, with exception of small outdated and aged coffee maker in room. Purpose of trip was business, with an exam the morning after our stay, planned on studying that morning, and had to pack up quickly and leave due to construction noises which began around 8:45 to 9:00am. It was so loud we could not hear each other, and that isn't an exaggeration. It sounded like they had four drills going at once in our room, even though it was in a room close to us, not in our room. That level of noise, I'd think should start AFTER check out time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again once remodeling is complete. If you plan on sleeping until 8:30 or relaxing in the morning, I recommend asking the for a room away from construction.

Website said 2 queen sized beds. They were not queen sized! It was an uncomfortable night for us as we had 3 adults in the room

I booked a room with 1 King Bed with Sofa Bed through Expedia. Our room did not have a sofa bed like advertised. The bathroom was accessible as stated in the booking, but we had to go out and buy an air mattress for accommodation.

It was a nice hotel however my toilet get restarting so I had to jiggle the flusher for it to stop. Half the channels did not come in and the bed was kinda hard

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice room. Everything worked as it should.

Spacious room and very convenient for our weekend plans.

We had an issue with the room we were originally given, when checking in but front desk quickly fixed it by giving us a other room. The next morning, the house keeper tried to come un while we were still asleep at 8am, but we uses the safety lock on the inside which kept them from coming in. They quickly apologized and closed the door.

The floors were nasty and I paid for breakfast for my family but they said they could not find me for breakfast and my family never got to eat.

I had a quick trip to see family - the hotel was very clean and the staff were welcoming. While all were very gracious and worked hard for us (we ended up with a 11 person gathering in the lobby lounge for a holiday gift exchange. The hotel staff accommodated us well and were very friendly. And Natasha at the front desk went out of her way during the below zero cold to assure we were comfortable and safe.

NOT happy that the check in staff told me breakfast was NOT included and continued to say no, until I showed them my confirmation that it WAS included. No cook for breakfast any of the days I was there so breakfast was VERY limited. Walls not very insulated as I could hear the people in the room next to me through out the night (music, laughing loud talking and yelling).

Nice rooms and well-kept facilities. Close to many dining options and they do have some dining on site.

I like that is wasn’t to far from the things we were wanting to do, plenty of parking spaces, and safe area. I didn’t like our room not being ready. Checked in around 3:30 and they give us a room that maintenance was not finished in.

Convenient to Overland Park office buildings and restaurants and shops. Great staff. Great rooms. Nice bistro.

This hotel is not at all what it claims to be. There was no eatery/bar. It was closed the entire time we stayed there. There was no pool, it is cemented in. This was very disappointing to the kids. The hotel is under major construction, which there is no mention of in the website. The exterior of the hotel looks absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website.

Very good experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, room very clean and spacious , bed comfortable. Hallways and entire building very clean. Food was good and nice selection.

You have to pay ahead of time for breakfast, which stinks. AND it's $20 a head, not for the whole room, which neither the hotel nor hotels.com specified. Besides that, it was a nice and affordable room in a convenient location for what the boys and I were doing that evening.

I know weather is bad, but I booked it because I had a restaurant and a bar and the restaurant closed because of the weather that was my biggest negative comments. I had to go somewhere for dinner. That was my only bulk other than breakfast was done by 9:30. They had already closed for the next day, which doesn’t seem Like it should’ve been closed that early.
