This is very nice hotel with some great amenities such as a pool, sauna and multiple lounge areas. We love the trendy decor and overall feel of the place. We do see some of the growing pains with a new hotel and some areas that the builder of the hotel could have improved upon. The swimming pools and hot tub don't were nice but the water felt a little dirty with clumps of hair floating. Don't get me wrong, I would stay here again but I wish they could pay a little attention to these details. Just want to finish by saying the staff were are very pleasant and we loved our stay.

Everything was perfect! Clean room, no carpet, excellent service, the things you normally expect from hotels. But on top of it, there’s activities like games and movies, theres an awesome inside pool and a sauna, a nice little restaurant and bar, 1 free drink per guest. Very happy with my stay amd will go again

Brand new hotel. Pool, gym, sauna and hot tubs all top notch. Corina at the front desk was very polite and helpful. Ryan the bartender provided excellent recommendations for local dinner choices. 5 star experience.

Very convenient location. Staff was great. Free welcome drink tasted great. Room was stylist and modern. Clean and comfortable. 100% will stay here again next time we visit Montreal. EV charging is advertised, and available, however it’s an extra $10 charge. Which is quite expensive depending on how much charge you arrive with!

The Staff on Thursday Feb 5th that greeted us- was excellent! - Sam that was working the front desk was knowledgeable of not only the hotel but the city itself. Very Clean. Pool, Hot tub and sauna area was very nice. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Had a wonderful short stay here at the Montreal Moxy Hotel. Staff at front desk were welcoming. Hotel felt quite new and had a modern vibe to it. Pool and sauna were nice too although the hot tub was out of order during our visit. Gym had all the equipment needed for a workout. Bonus we were provided with a free welcome cocktail. Stayed in a double queen room. Beds were comfy and bathroom was spacious. There was a small fridge and safe to keep your valuables. Room came with 2 bottles of water. Water kettle is available from the laundry room. Parking was $40 including tax. There are two floors of parking however if it’s a busy weekend, it can be challenging as many spots were taken and spots were tight to park. Hotel is in walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

Très bon hôtel, la décoration est magnifique, la chambre est parfaite et propre ! Merci au personnel très sympathique et drôle ! Néanmoins, les parties communes sont sales, autant le grand salon, les canapés (miettes) les toilettes du bas, le spa (rempli de chips) et la piscine (cheveux).

Hotel was very clean. However, housekeeping left something to be desired though - shampoo and conditioner were not filled unless requested (and even then they only filled the conditioner which was empty to begin with). Bar soap for hand washing was not replaced over a 3 night stay for even though it was getting mushy and used up. Paper cups in the bathroom were not replaced even after throwing it out. There was no spare tissue box/toilet paper roll either. So we would have requested each of those things, which seem like pretty standard housekeeping checks especially for 3 registered adults, and none of these things could be found in the reserve room which is where they told us to look. Otherwise the hotel had lots of fun amenities especially on the second floor. And the welcome drink was nice - both things I've experienced at other Moxy hotels before and part of the reason I chose to stay here this time.

Clean rooms. However, bathroom door would not stay closed as well as the shower door kept sliding open. Staff were very friendly and helpful. House cleaning was late showing up each day. The one day they came early we were still in bed and they didn’t come back at all that day. Construction happening at the intersection, noisy from 6am. Staff door was right beside our room door and whomever was coming and going proceeded to let the door slam every single time.

I hadn't heard of Moxy before and was astonished to discover they don't provide closet or drawers for your clothing. Just four pegs and three hangers. Safe is on the floor, so difficult for mobility challenged people. Property is still undergoing renovation. Room is beautiful except for the unsightly water stained ceiling over the bed. Location is fantastic if you are coming by Megabus or the train. It's also a short walk to Old Montreal and to downtown, so lots of dining nearby. Bed is fantastic and there is a spacious shower. I loved that there is a self service closet on the floor for picking up extra towels, pillows, toothpaste etc. Food at the bar/restaurant was very tasty.

This is a superb hotel with slightly small rooms, but beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, and a very 2025-style bathroom (large, pleasant shower). I particularly appreciated the soundproofing of the rooms (for example, although my room was near the elevators, I never heard them). Customer service is impeccable, both at check-in and for any questions – with just the right touch of humor. The young man at the bar was friendly and competent. The pool and sauna are enjoyable, while the gym is almost embarrassing (for other hotels). The cardio and strength-training equipment are of excellent quality and available in sufficient quantity so you rarely have to wait. There’s even a stretching room. I was going to pay more for another hotel in Montreal, but decided to try this one instead. It was a complete success. We will definitely come back here on our next stay in Montreal.

I love that it's new and clean. Staffs are very friendly. I also like the spacious washroom and firm mattress. However, the AC was hard to set. Hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. I wish the room could be bigger and to include a closet. To my surprise, it was a bit noisy.

The computer system was down at check-in and it was rather chaotic, as they could t print keys or take CC deposits. The young desk staff were doing the best they could to manage it, but they seemed very ill-prepared and whomever the managers of the hotel are were not supporting them nor dealing with the issues. Room itself was very nice, good products and comfortable bed. I would be more forgiving for a new hotel like this to have some issues, but the fact that it’s under the Marriott umbrella and seemed very very poorly run, the experience left us never wanting to return.

The room was great. Clean. Could use maybe another table or a small closet. The reason for the 2 star was the horrible check in. We arrived around 4pm which is way past check in time and they were with one client for over 30 minutes. Then another person took forever. We were in line for almost an hour waiting to check in. They need to review their check in policies or ways of doing things because it was one of the longest check ins I've had. Waiting about an hour in line. It took them over 30 minutes to deal with just one person. The rest was fine.

Ignored at the bar two different nights. Bartender were too busy to acknowledge me but as soon as a white male entered, they was available to help. The first night, the bar was not packed but another guest noticed me waiting and came over to me to help to get service. Magically the batender helped we laughed it off but. … Another night three different bartenders …both ignore me and help others as soon as they approached the bar.

Very poor service overall. Our room wasn’t ready, amenities like the microwave and laundry were broken, housekeeping missed requests, and even a simple birthday gesture was declined. What made it worse is that after raising all these issues with management, nothing was done — only excuses about why problems exist. A very disappointing experience.

The room was beautiful and clean, very comfortable stay overall. However, it was not as walkable as expected, still need to drive to most places. Also, the laundry facilities left much to be desired. Not only did we have to pay for detergent, but also for using the machines. The machines themselves are very outdated and only accept only one dollar coins, for a total of 6 for wash and dry. The staff assured us we could exchange cash for coins but for our entire stay they claimed to be out of one dollar coins. We could not do any of our laundry for the entirety of our stay and were very disappointed and deeply inconvenienced. If you are looking to stay here, be sure to keep these factors in mind.

L'hôtel est au centre de plusieurs travaux, malheureusement, ce qui complique le déplacement à pied.

Great service and nice new building (upper apartment floors still under construction). Quiet room except one morning we were awakened by concrete hammer-drilling above our room at just after 7am. The immediate area isn’t great but just blocks from old Montreal and the shopping district made it easy to get around on foot. No in room storage or coffee maker was a big miss in my opinion - waited in line every morning for a coffee which did not make me happy.

Breakfast options limited but lots of restaurants around so no big deal. Pool area absolutely amazing, staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice trendy hotel, new, clean, awesome place to stay. I didn’t catch the name of the person who checked us in but they were awesome. We had been travelling since 2am to get to Montreal with two small kids and we had a game to see that night. They went out of their way to arrange an early check in when we got to the hotel at like 9am. We were able to get into our room get settled have a nap and then hit the ground running. Awesome overall experience, would recommend and would return again no question!!

Menu isn’t very good coffee is to small and expensive . There are no stores in the area the hotel would benefit having more of a selection on site for drinks snacks lighters etc….
