There wasn’t any way of getting to the upper floors except stairs which I have difficulties doing also the window didn’t open very much so we roasted to death. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough at the time there were some in my room who thought they were privileged and got the staff to bring down their cases that weighed a ton and they did it even though they didn’t have to

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the Slipknot concert and it was a really enjoyable stay :) very homely and the area its in is very nice and pretty quiet overall. Staff were friendly and up for a chat, free coffee and filtered water at the front desk made the mornings very relaxed. Rooms give you all you need but nothing more, can't really complain with that. Overall we both found ourselves agreeing that we would stay again if the opportunity arised.
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the Slipknot concert and it was a really enjoyable stay :) very homely and the area its in is very nice and pretty quiet overall. Staff were friendly and up for a chat, free coffee and filtered water at the front desk made the mornings very relaxed. Rooms give you all you need but nothing more, can't really complain with that. Overall we both found ourselves agreeing that we would stay again if the opportunity arised.

A simple room but it had everything that I needed for my stay. The property/room was warm, very well maintained and clean. The staff were very helpful and polite. I'd certainly stay at this location again. Top marks all round.

This is a great hostel! The location is convenient for visiting Glasgow's west end and Kelvingrove Museum and park as well as Glasgow University. Its location is quiet and beautiful. The services and amenities are well-organized and clean. I would stay here again. The only negative would be that the walls can be thin and you may hear people in the next room. However, I found that people respected the 10 pm limit on any noise.

Absolutely beautiful area Glasgow, our ensuite twin room looked out onto Kelvingrove Park, the building is a Victorian Townhouse in a very well to do area. Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and just minutes away from shops, bars, restaurants etc. Huge kitchen and dining area with everything we needed, I would definitely stay again 😀

The building was beautiful and the location was perfect but our room was cold with poor lighting. There were also insufficient plugs in the room. Ventilation could have been better as every shower made the room rather humid.

Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly and helpful and just minutes away from shops, bars, restaurants etc. Huge kitchen and dining area with everything we needed, I would definitely stay again 😀

Lounge looking out over the park, and another with a table tennis table. Second floor room was a little chilly in spite of the radiator working hard, but the shower worked and everyone was clean and good. Good value for money.

Sehr guter Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Zwar liegt das Hostel etwas außerhalb, man kommt aber gut überall hin. Dafür ist es schon ruhig. Ich habe nichts vermisst.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were the nicest I’ve ever stayed in a hostel. Plenty of communal rooms with books/tv/etc and the self-serve kitchen was well stocked and clean.

Great hostel, proper kitchen with utensils. Sitting room TV . Good safe location. Rooms, dorms not great for charging up tech more power points or adapters needed . We are so dependent on tech for travel and communication.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the Slipknot concert and it was a really enjoyable stay :) very homely and the area its in is very nice and pretty quiet overall. Staff were friendly and up for a chat, free coffee and filtered water at the front desk made the mornings very relaxed. Rooms give you all you need but nothing more, can't really complain with that. Overall we both found ourselves agreeing that we would stay again if the opportunity arised.

I was very late getting to the hostel because of a delayed flight, but Allie, the night porter was so welcoming and helpful, l enjoyed my very short stay! Likewise, Heather, who l had spoken to earlier to explain my late arrival was very sympathetic! I would highly recommend this accommodation!

Staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the vintage feel it had. It overlooked a beautiful park where I spent a lot of time at. There a lot of stairs and no lift though. But I still had a nice stay.

Room was clean, shower was good. No driers, between the check out and check in time is obviously no staff time. I kept my luggage in the luggage room but could not find it immediately because i want it back during no staff time. Although one staff came out after few hours later, so that I could return my luggage back.

Stayed one night for a night out. Got a twin room. Everything was clean. As it's a youth hostel it is basic accommodation but the staff were nice and friendly and the bedding was clean. Would stay here again if going for a night out.
