Comfort Inn Memphis Airport West

Close to airport so not very scenic. Big gate for safety, I’m assuming. Clean, ample parking, elliptical, treadmill, a TV in the gym.

Rooms were very adequate hallway carpets needed to be replaced but the worst part was being stuck in the elevator for about 1.5 hrs. Fire department was finally able to get us out.

I was pleased to see the staff mopping and the decor in the lobby was nice. They have breakfast included and a gym. They Do NOT HAVE A Shuttle, as shown on the site. Get your rideshare app ready. The carpet was dingy, the AC/Heating system made a loud noise, one lamp didn't work in my room, and there was damage to the wall. The bathroom was decent. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. It's located near some factory and another hotel. It's an extra charge if you want to check in 40 minutes early.

Had nicely secured parking area, with a room key activated moving gate.

Electricity was out in half of the main floor impacting lights, hot water and the breakfast service. Front desk said they were working on it when we checked in. But they weren’t. Still nothing 12 hours later. They should have been honest and put us in their partner hotel next door.

One reason I picked this hotel was free shuttle to Airport in the morning. They haven't had this service in over two years.... An Uber is forty five and change, first taxi service already booked, and next.person is twentyfive plus tip. So i am already starting the trip spending mobey I was planning on. Very poor of Expedia to show a service that hasn't been available in two years. Update your site for the next person that books a stay.

Liked the room size was comfortable except for no communication on parking inside the gates and breakfast hours other than that all was great!

The elevator had a horrible smell. The room felt muggy. The sheets felt damp. The tv went out. The morning we were checking out the elevator didn’t work.

Clean, comfortable, breakfast provided, great parking, safe.

This is probably the grossest hotel I have stayed at. The carpet in the hallways is absolutely disgusting. The whole place smells bad. The elevator has a STRONG smell of a burnt rubber belt like when your vacuum burns up. I’ve never been to a hotel that charged a $170 deposit until now and this place is definitely not worth it. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nice.

Room smelt like it had been flooded and not properly dried. Musty and damp smell best describes it. There was a handprint in black on the ceiling in two places. The bathroom towels had hair all over them and after 22 hours of traveling I had to sleep on tol of the sheets because of hair and marks in the sheets. I was too exhausted to complain and the girl at the front desk had already been snappy with me.. Breakfast the next morning was not worth it. Watery eggs, pale sausage. When I enquired about times the were snapped at me and they started shutting breakfast down at 8:30. Horrible experience after traveling that far.

The first room we were placed in smelled like smoke. We were moved to another room that smelled somewhat better but still had an odor. Pillows and bed were uncomfortable. The room was clean though. Outlets didn’t work by the bed to charge Our cellphones.

Room smell like MILDEW OR MOLD. It was never cleaned.. a hotel staff was rude

The halls and room were filthy. Staff was rude and were not accommodating when request for clean wash clothes and towels was made. The bathroom walls were nasty and the shower curtain was torn. Carpet was disgusting.

There was hair in the shower and not from on top of the head. The power outlets were busted up and there was a lot of pet hair on the floor. Breakfast was the usual stuff except the cereal was stale. They did have a waffle maker that worked good. They also have gated parking.

The elevator was dirty . The carpet in the hallway is stained . My room smelled like cigarettes. Sheets were clean . TV - outdated , only local channels .

Stayed for 1 night. The property is in a construction area which makes it feel kind of eerie. The lobby of the hotel was nice and clean. The front desk attendant was nice and welcoming. I was immediately turned off though when I got on the elevator. It looked like it had not been updated since the hotel was first built. The walls were dirty and the paint was chipping. It also had a horrible strong odor, like gasoline or something. The floors where rooms are located are in horrible conditions and in need of immediate updates. The carpet was an ugly blue color and pattern and it was dirty and stained all throughout. The walls were also in bad shape. The room itself was ok. It was kind of stuffy because the air conditioner wasn’t on. The room also had carpet and because the room had not had any ventilation or air circulation, it had that stinky basement smell. The linen appeared to be clean but you could tell it was old because the top comforter had those little white lint balls all over it from normal wear/tear/and constantly washing it. The floors in the entry way and bathroom could have used a deep clean/mop but when I did my own wipe down with Lysol wipes, everything was clean for the most part. To be safe my husband and I sprayed the bed and only slept on the top comforter. We bought our pillow cases and comforter. They did have breakfast which we did not stay for. We only saw the aftermath. It was your typical complimentary breakfast with a self making waffle station.

Friendly staff, clean, and easy drive from the airport. My only problem was several outlets were a challenge. And the first room we were in the air conditioner made a very loud noise. We were immediately switched to another room.

Over all nice place to sleep before catching an early flight. Just wish bed was a little softer

This hotel is relatively close to the airport but the evening manager wasn’t that helpful when the WiFi wasn’t working, just claimed to several people that it “was” working, which even his staff says wasn’t true.

It is near the highway.So noisy

No hot water and non functioning sofa. Sofa bed was opened prior to arrival and could not be closed to sit on

The hotel was nice and the rooms were spacious but our sofa bed was broken and not comfortable at all. We were also bummed that even though there was hotel transportation, we couldn’t take it since we had a vehicle with us.

Beds were clean and comfortable, though the pillows were small. Bathroom was clean but cramped. TV did not have a guide, nor was there a guide in the room and you had to change channels one by one. The lobby looked decent, but the hallways were dingy and not well maintained. Breakfast was decent.

Just the air conditioner was really noisy

Good property! Just this time the Air conditioners were defrosting so the floors were kind of damp and have a smell to it.

Room was clean but the air conditioner was loud and not very efficient. Was going to spend two nights but they did not seem to care when we told them about loudness. We left after one night.

Staff members don’t know how to speak. They need to learn some etiquette. I was charged unnecessary cleaning fee after checkout.

The most comfortable bed! Our flight arrived after midnight and our room was ready and waiting for us. The night clerk who checked us in was super friendly and efficient. Because we got in so late we hoped for a little more rest in an extra hour before checkout. The manager was working day shift and he gruffly said no. Made for a disappointing checkout experience.

Had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk to check in because nobody was in sight. I called the number, no answer. Finally, a woman came from a room down the hallway and asked if I wanted to check in. She smelled like marijuana as did the whole place. The room was ok, but the customer service and the smell were terrible. Would not recommend.

Easy check in. I reserved the room through expedia and ordered the wrong type of room. The front desk was able to change to the one we needed immediately. Everything was comfortable and clean.

Told would take 3 to 4 weeks for a refund if deposit was made by card. Also told no receipt for a cash deposit. Room smelled bad upon entering (like a urine smell). Sink bowl had a crack in it. Toilet seat was crooked. Dirt build up in corners of bathroom floor/moulding. Bathroom floor was tacky, made it feel like whole place was dirty. Reservations were made requesting handicap accessible room for 4 people. Told no handicap available so accommodations were very cramped. Also only had two sets of towels for 4 people. Requested the extra towels and clerk was argumentative, but they were provided next morning. Room was serviced while out for the day, but again only left 2 towel sets and had to go through same senario. Also rug had cigarette holes in it and ceiling appeared to have smoke stains and/or water damages. Supposed to be smoke free room. The free breakfast wasn't the best (eggshellsin eggs, stale bread and pastries). We ate at McDonald's the 2nd morning after checking out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Check in was good, the employee was friendly. I asked several times about a shuttle to the airport and he assured me i would be taken care of. I got to the room and it smelled like mildew, i think it was coming from the AC. The next morning i go downstairs to check out and the gentleman working acts as if i woke him up. He yells from behind the wall and asks if i need a receipt. I reply i need a shuttle. He walks around so i can see him and prceeds to order a lyft. I ask how long before a driver would be there and he says he doesnt know because the system is searching for a driver. I got an Uber within 3 minutes and told him to cancel the lyft. He was rude from the start and it was too early for all that.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was okay, but it was cheap.

The staff was so bad and miss behaved I checked in at 3 in the morning with my baby and the receptionist told I will request for the late check out for you guys but in the morning that manager simply refused and said there is nothing like it and the behavior was so unprofessional and filthy Never looking see that hotel as matter of fact I will never stay in any comfort inn ever

Brandy was WONDERFUL, the other female desk person was good also. Very attentive and customer service oriented.

The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe. But we had no issues. Front desk attendant was friendly and helpful.

Located near the airport in Memphis, which isn't the best area. For hotels in the area it was fine for catching a flight the next morning.

Close to the Airport

It is what it is, a motel near the airport and Graceland. This is in a light industrial area which is also a bit unsafe. A car was stolen from the secured car park of the motel while we were staying there.

Very easy check in process and clean and comfortable room. Hotel rooms showed slight wear but were clean and I felt safe staying there. Located in an industrial area near the airport, but a quick drive to most anywhere in Memphis.

Close to airport, good Uber service to town, great breakfast, good all around!

Very comfortable for a quick getaway from the weather. Check in as fast and the front desk attendant was friendly. Less than stellar “breakfast” but that wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

Hotel was clean but we order the suite and couldnt use it because the pull out couch was broken. It was left as a bed but the mattress is thin and you can feel the frame. The breakfast was fine. No juice since the machine was broken for our entire time there and they didnt bring any in. One staff member running breakfast so if you get there when its busy and that might only br a few people, you will have to wait. Parking lot all gated so felt safe leaving car parked

Breakfast on Saturday morning was poor, limited food and no one to help. Bathrooms need to be checked for leaky faucets and the hair dryer almost caught on fire.

I was truly impressed the room was clean and fresh. The bed was confortable. The breakfast was nice only nick picking issue was there was no hot cereal or butter for the waffles and toast. And the juice was our of order. Other then that the overall stay was nice

The front desk woman was distracted by her phone and not welcoming. A partially consumed water bottle and rag were on table top in the room when we entered. The floor tile in the entry of the room was sticky. We went for breakfast at 8:30 and there was no bread, no coffee cups and very little left with no one replenishing the breakfast bar. Worst hotel breakfast we’ve experienced.

Five day stay was good - Cost was reasonable - Location was convenient - Hot breakfast was good - Place was clean and comfortable Overall not bad and would stay here in the future

Very clean hotel, nice service but most times there was no one at the front desk, they came when they heard someone was there but no bell or camera to alert them. Also desk chair back was broken when we got into the room. Also very noisy with street and airport noise. But great breakfast with lots of variety.

My stay at the Comfort Inn was one of the most Amazing stays I’ve had. Everyone was Professional, Attentive, and Courteous to my needs. All our cars are parked inside a security gate where you can enter the hotel from within that gated area for convenience. My room was Clean, and Smelled so nice! Breakfast was delicious. They served eggs, toast, link sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee, yogurt, and a lot of other breakfast foods. No smoking inside was a great perk, but there’s an area outside for smokers. Rooms have microwave, and a fridge , hair dryer, toiletries, large desk with chairs, common area to relax, or watch tv. I didn’t want to leave after 3nights, so I stayed another night. That Bed is Awesome with those 5 pillows! Also when you are traveling alone, or with family, it’s a Safe, Clean place to stay. Thank you Comfort Inn, and Staff for putting your guest first, and delivering what you Promised on your booking site 😊

Great customer service, my family of 3 enjoyed our 1 night stay. Room was clean, nice breakfast. I would say get a air freshener for the rooms, they had a stale smell but it didn’t last long.
