We have 2 small dogs, and it was $50 for the dogs. Their website on Expedia says pet friendly, but they charged extra. The pool looked nice and clean and inviting, but was locked up w a chain and padlock. Who knows why it was closed. It was over 100 degrees

Love the location. Great diner within walking distance. Unfortunately the hotel needs some attention. Air conditioner rattled and made a lot of noise. No towels were in the bathroom and had to ask for some at front desk. The lights outside the hotel are very bright and stayed on all night. Even with the curtains closed, it felt like daytime while trying to sleep.

The room was very dirty, there were stain on the walls and on the bathroom door- looked like blood- came off easily with a wet wipe. The bath tub had mold on the non to turn on the water- both hot and cold. There was dirt in the bath tub and the toilet was dirty. The bed cover had stains, but he pillows had stain and the sheets did also. This was an awful place.

I booked this room for my mom because she was going to be in Kerrville for a memorial service. She got to her room for the night and when she pulled back the covers to get in bed there were bedbugs and the sheets had streaks of blood spots on them. Very gross. The manager was super apologetic, but she ended up going somewhere else for the night. The manager promised to refund the room, but I ended up contacting hotels.com a few days later when it became clear that they weren't going to follow through.

I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. It was not cheap and yet didn’t provide Kleenex type of tissue. No shampoo, dirty floors/bathroom. 2 guests and only 1 hand and 1 wash cloth provided. Found a cockroach in the bathroom. It was one of the worst stays I’ve experienced.

The room was clean and bed was fine. The furnishure is old but the bed had a good blanket. I would have given it a 4 star but the room smelled like someone had smoked in there even though there was a sign of No smoking allowed.

When you get a room at a motel, it’s always a craps shoot. This roll of the dice worked in my favor. I am pleased to say that the room was clean, the sheets smelled fresh, the bed was comfortable. All wrapped up in a room for under $80 is even better.

The bed sagged in the middle and that was after they gave us a second room because the first one looked occupied with an unmade bed and full trash can when we unlocked the door. The staff was friendly and got the second room right away. The facilities are just old and tired.

Way to expensive. $138.00 for one night. The sink area was dirty. Shower had bits of soap in it in the floor. AC worked well. Quite. Window curtain did not block the light outside as it was to small. Beds were ok and clean.

This is our 3rd stay here. The price for this hotel is usually the lowest in town. We like that there is no carpet and a functional television with DTV. The guy at the counter is friendly. The king bed needs to be replaced due to the sagging middle that is not comfortable for couples. There was a smashed roach on the bathroom wall and we had roach watch us get ready in the morning. Besides that not a bad budget hotel.

Just stayed here for one night and it did the job. The people next door to our room were super loud. Bathroom looked a little dingy which didn’t matter to us as we had already showered before heading down. Beds were comfortable and the ac worked great.

A good budget friendly no frills hotel in Kerrville. The staff was extremely friendly and worked with me on parking for my trailer. The room was what would be expected of a budget hotel. I will stay here in the future simply because of the great friendly service.

When we checked in, the man was very nice and it started raining and helped us so that our stuff wouldn't get wet since it was in the back of our truck. We really appreciate his amazing customer service. I didn't get his name, but he was great!

Booked thru Expedia, got there at 1am.. tried to check in. Had my three dogs sleeping in truck… she tried to charge me per fee but told her dogs sleeping in truck.. She didn’t want to accept that they were so she proceeded to tell me only one room left that is smoking room. I paid for non-smoking room so asked if I can at least go smell the room.. she said no.. take it or leave it …. Ultimately, I said fine.. will take it then she says to call Expedia and get refund .. not giving us the room. Was close to 2am arguing with her. Rude and inconsiderate. Bottom line, she made up the having only one room and it was smoking because she didn’t want to give us the room thinking we would turn down the smoking room. Terrible place . Stay clear !

It is, what it is. We all know what the cheapest hotel in a town will be - so, the one star reviews are exaggerating and the five stars are staff members :). ( ) Room was clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure. A/C is powerful. Good WiFi. (-) Room’s TV did not work (I see other reviews mention the same) and staff refused to come address it. Room smelled like smoke. No fire alarm on the wall - it was conveniently stored in a dresser. Only two tiny bath towels and no shampoo/conditioner. Toilet lid constantly falls, so guys standing up are gonna make a mess. Lots of folks hanging out in the parking lot at night.

This place is a great option for those looking to save some money. For what you pay, it's clean, safe, quiet, and easy to locate. The kind woman checking us in advised us that some rooms were quieter than others and that we may want one of those rooms because we had our child with us. We'd stay here again when visiting Kerville.

Staff went above and beyond lettung me clock in super late. (2am) the room is older but is very well maintained. Breakfast bar stayed open late which helped us out. Older amenities but very clean. Good job Lone Star

There were several already-opened tiny soap bars in the bathroom and shower area when we entered the room, so the housekeeping was clearly inadequate. My wife went to get the Continental Breakfast at 7 am, and someone (maybe a guest? we don't know) was already there, stealing all the pastries which had been put out and stuffing them in his pockets. When I later discussed it with the front desk manager at check out, he said he knew about the incident. However, he didn't bother to replace the stolen pastries to accommodate the other paying guests. I guess they don't matter. It was inexpensive, but I won't be returning to this motel again.

Pulled in and and got room key. Manager said I could park truck and trailer right in front of office that’s a plus. First glance at room ok. Then really looked, sheets had stains, floors dirty, shower curtain mold growing. No coffee when asked for some told didn’t have any. Breakfast is a joke. I will not stay hear again.

There were old cabinets sitting in piles in the lobby, There was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast .The lobby wasn't even open in the morning.The room had small pieces of trash and bugs on the floor.It had not been swept. I had to call down to get the missing plate for the microwave. The shower had soap scum and a piece of toilet paper was hanging off the shower head. The sheets weren't even white anymore, there were couple of hairs also. Noisy outside from people hanging out on the deck upstairs .

The room was decent. The a/c and heat both worked. I appreciated the microwave and the mini fridge, especially since I was expected some kind of a breakfast but there was none (not good). I was able to prepare something in the room. The staff was not really friendly but not rude. I guess they earned the two-star rating I saw online.
