Hot tub needs to be cleaned and the bubbles don’t work. No towels for guest to use at pool. We stayed on the 3rd floor it was hot and the hall had a really bad smell. Ice makers where not working on our floors by the pool

Im giving this property a 2 because when I asked for room service they did come to my room. The luggage dolly was filthy, the hallway carpets were stained and the room carpets also had stains. The elevator sounded very unsafe and like it was in need of maintenance. The biggest issue we had was the bed bugs we found. I will not be staying at this location again.

The room was mediocre at best. The hot tub was NASTY - pool as well. Very poor upkeep. Elevator was broken for about half of our trip and the hallways smelled as though someone was smoking a joint for the entire time we were there. Do NOT recommend

The hotel has seen better days, but for the price it was ok. The pool was available which was a huge plus point after days of going without despite promised to our kids. Our last hotel had broken washing machines, so it was a double whammy when this hotel also had a broken washing maschine and dryer.

Staff was friendly, the hotel itself had a musty/dirty smell in the lobby’s and on the way to the rooms. Elevator going down from the third floor didn’t work. The room itself was not horrible. A little dirty but the linen appeared clean with ample pillows. The toilet and shower were dirty on arrival and had not been cleaned. A/C was noisy. Good spot to rest your head for a night but u wouldn’t stay here for more than a day.

I booked this room to use the pool. The pool was disgustingly green. When we asked the front desk about it, he said people use the pool while it's green all the time and we would be safe to use it. There was no one using the pool and if it had been used we would have gotten sick for sure. The hallways were very hot and don't have AC. The beds were rather old and uncomfortable. The AC did work great so we were thankful for that. Overall the cleanliness of this place is what would keep me away for sure.

They have so many BEDBUGS. My family and I weren't even there for 5 minutes and the BEDBUGS were crawling on the white sheets. Needless to say we left immediately. I asked for my $129 back and I havent seen anything yet. I would love to leave a good review but i dont have one. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express!!!

My family and I had the misfortune of staying at this nightmare of a hotel. From the moment we walked into our room, it was clear this place had zero standards of hygiene or comfort. The first thing that hit us was the stench—an overwhelming musty odor that seemed to be embedded in every inch of the stained, grimy carpet. And the carpets were just as bad in the hallways, spreading the awful smell throughout the entire floor. It felt like the whole hotel had given up on basic cleanliness. The real horror awaited us in the bed. As we pulled back the sheets, we were horrified to see roaches scurrying around, and to our utter disbelief, a live bed bug crawling across the pillow. Yes, you read that right—roaches and bed bugs, in the actual bed! My kids were terrified, and we spent the entire night in absolute fear of what might crawl on us. This place is a complete disgrace. If you value your health and sanity, stay far, far away.

The room smelled terrible, like mold/mildew. The carpet was wet when I got in there. The bathroom floor had what looked like puke by the toilet. I soaked a rag with hot water to get it to come up. The shower was incredibly dirty and the bathroom door's outer layer was peeling off and should be inspected for mold/mildew and replaced. The spout for the tub was loose with a bunch of cracked caulk around it to cover for poor installation. The toilet would keep running until I took the top off to fix that. Elevator stopped working the morning of my check out but that got fixed within a couple hours. A sports team was staying there and they made a lot of noise in the hallways past midnight. For paying hotel prices I at least expect the room to be clean.

This is probably the worst place I stayed at ever. The room had a dirty/musty scent to it. The carpet was not clean. The AC unit was very old and loud and it either made the room very cold or not worked at all. I asked for a baby crib for my daughter but I was told there was none. She had to sleep the sofa bed. Of course the mattress was horrible and dirty I covered it with 2 bedsheets. The next day I asked for the room to be cleaned and I was told they will not do it because they did not have staff. Later that evening I asked for new bedsheets (since the room was not cleaned) the person at the front desk started questioning why I needed bedsheets and that they may not have enough. Overall, not a great place and I will never be staying at a comfort suites again.

The room was mostly clean. Carpet has stains likely from years of wear and use. The bed sheets had hair; however, the pillows looked clean. The room is more spacious than other hotels of similar price. The bathroom is nice. The channel selection on the TV is okay; there is no option for streaming as in other hotels. The hallway has a smell to it; however, the room itself does not. There were no water bottles stocked in the lobby refrigerator during the time of stay.

This hotel is in desperate need of updates. The door frames are old metal frames with chipping paint. The carpet is well worn and stained. The couch was just as bad. The elevator reeked of marijuana and the hallway wasn’t much better. The only positives were the bathroom was clean and the bed comfortable. Will not be staying here again.

The room had a smell to it. One of the guests on my floor had their door wide open and sat shirtless in the hallway while on their phone... The room was spacious, had a couch, a desk, a table, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a television. The bed, for the most part, was comfortable, although it was not 100% clean. The carpet had a few stains on it. Given the location of the place, the space of the room, and the price - and there is no bolted joint door to the next room - I would stay here again.

First, I will address the good things about the hotel. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. Most of the staff was friendly & helpful. Now for the bad. One of the night staff (male) was very confrontational when I had to go to the front desk for the 6th time to have them re-key my room key. Every single time I came back from being out, I had to do this. Then, same staff member told my 85 yo mother that she had to take our trash down to the dumpster outside at night because we had not requested maid service. Then, when I asked him why he did that, he lied to me & said that he didn't tell her that. Next, It is an older hotel so some wear & tear is normal. But this place needed some serious cleaning. The room smelled very musty & the carpet was very dirty. Some simple shampooing would have made a world of difference. It could have used some paint touch-ups as well. Next, the exterior could have used some landscaping. We went in the pool once, which was pretty clean. However, the hot tub was very dirty. I don't usually go into this much detail when I do a review, but I felt it was important for those reading this that may want to book a room there.

Absolutely terrible service. I called when I booked because I knew our check in would be after check in hours. The person I spoke with said it would not be an issue. I get there after driving hours with an infant and they cancelled my room because we didn’t check in on time. The man at the front desk would do nothing to help me. I was also charged a nights stay. The Laquita down the road was amazing, got me an a room right away. Will NEVER book a Comfort Inn again.

Property was in a decent area from everything. Staff were very unfriendly and at check-in seemed like they would rather be watching tv than checking me in. The elevator at the property was extremely noisy and seemed like it could possibly break down at any point. Shower in the room was stained and seemed dirty. Breakfast was decent and had a ok variety. I had to have my room key replaced twice during my stay due to them no longer allowing me into my room which was very inconvenient.

When I arrived in the parking lot, the clerk in the lobby was very courteous and gave me a key. The first key went to a room that was infested with roaches around the fridge. I went back to the desk and they gave a 2nd key, which that room also had roaches and the toilet seat was broken. I took that key back and they gave me another key for a room that had a stench, the thermostat didn't work, the hot water ran cold, and by the time I tried to get some sleep I was woken by the sound of key swiping in my door to which i later found out that they had given a key to another patron for the room i was in. The desk called to apologize but then acknowledged that they had no record of giving me the key to that room and asked me for all of my info that I previously checked in with. The next morning they served a continental breakfast which wasn't appetizing and when I returned to the room, I could not get back in because my key was deactivated. I went back down to get that fixed and now there was a different clerk who questioned if i was even a patron.

I have stayed here before and that is why I came back. I will be staying here again. The only drawback I had was the mirror in my room that is on the door where you hang your clothes was cracked and the door would not close. I alerted the front desk and they offered to move me but I chose not to but is was the offer that I remembered the most. Great Job from the staff.

Overall my stay was pleaent front desk was helpful & friendly. The area isn't great several homeless ppl walk the area but it I felt safe. Room was clean & comfy. Before my check out time around 9am. I was abt to shower & the housekeeper just opened the door. Luckly I had the security lock in place, she closed the door. When I left she was still cleaning another rm. I gave the awkward smile & nod, rolled her eyes & started towards my room. When the elevator door opened another housekeeper exited onto the floor. Before the doors closed I overheard the housekeepers speaking in Spanish about me being the reason why she was still on the floor waiting to clean my room bc I didnt check out early enough & how she almost walked in on the fat girl. I dont look like I speak Spanish or cld even underatand it but I do. I get it you want to finish ur job as fast as possible, I work in the service & hospitality industry & even I know to never talk bad abt guest in front of them. I've talked bad abt guest bc of the rude and entitled attitude but never around other guest or in ear shot of the guest. If I wld have yelled talk ugly to her or been rude I wld understand the comments but I didnt say anything gave the awkward nod & smile. I didnt complain to the frnt desk about her almost walking in, bc it was an accident but her comments were unnecessary rude & uncalled for.

I was in Austin for 5 days. My room was clean and nice. The problem is that I didn’t receive any room service until the fourth day. I asked many times, but they told me that my room was not on the list. The room key was not working; you have to try it again and again, and that’s not cool, especially in an area you don’t know. The pool was not clean either. I don’t think I’ll be going back there.

Nothing was unique about this property. The location was suspect and i did not stsy there. I paid for a 1 night cancelation fee even though I chose not to stay for the 2 night reservation. Online pictures does not represent property and surrounding area accurately. I am waiting on my refund for the 2nd night of my reservation. I paid to stay at another hotel for my visit.

Our stay was pleasant. The staff was helpful and friendly. We love it for the location's closeness to Pinballz. There's lots of places to eat nearby as well, and we'll be likely to stay here again our next visit to Austin.

I didn't see this as a high end hotel, which is what i was looking for, it was average at best. Staff was meh.. not friendly, but not unfriendly per se. ɓreakfast meh...veey cheap and basic. No bottle water offered in room or breakfast, but they had some for sale 2$!! for a small, cheap, knock off brand purified water! Elevator was creaky, made me nervous so i took stairs. Pool and hottub were small, shaded, not really worth hanging out in. In the future id give up breakfast and pool for a nicer hotel. What i did like were the beds. Comfortable, clean, lots of pillows that were pretty nice, a.c. worked well, it had a bathtub that was long and i like that. We went for a concert at h.e.b. center and it was close, airport was close 25 min. Austin downtown was close 25 min. And so many food choices! The area felt clean, safe, not sketchy at all, and it was perfect for my needs. My only disappointment was i was trying to have a boushi vacation, as i only do this kind of thing every few years, and the hotel was nice, but not what id thought it would be with such a high rating on website. I'd give it a 6.5/7 out of ten and i was wanting an 8.5.

The room would have been very nice if it didn't smell musty and like mildew coming from the a/c. Also, it was listed as being in AUSTIN...but in reality it was nearly 20 miles (40 minutes in traffic) from I-35 and it took almost an hour to get to downtown Austin.

As we walked down the stairs one morning, there was a man (could have been homeless) that was asleep in the stairs. That was dangerous and scary with my family there. Lots of construction around so hard to get in the parking lot.

The location was great, and the entire building felt safe, but it could have used a little updating. The entry light flickered so bad it felt like a disco, so we just left it off. The only other inconvenience was the a/c unit was a little tricky to get to work. You just had to press the buttons a little harder than you thought. Other than that, the room was very comfortable, good hot water and very quiet.

I depend on breakfast on time and other promised amenities. I travel as a Registered Nurse so it is extremely important. Breakfast was not available everyday I stayed. Especially before I leave for work at 6:20-6:30 a.m. The coffee machine NEVER worked. These are things I depend on and I feel like I waisted money bc I had to go buy breakfast and coffee in the end! Not worth my time or money.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The staff was courteous and the breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, yogurts, waffles, pancakes and more. Only the coffee wasn’t good. It tasted like the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned but I thought that was minor.
