Pool and hot tub ice cold. No hot water in shower for two days. Elevator is terrifying and tiny. Room paint was busted/shabby, fridge hadn't been dedrosted in god knows how long and smelled. Breakfast was terrible. Snacks were stale. Coffee was burned. Desk person didn't give a crap, and I can't blame them because they work for the slum owner. Gross. Avoid at all cost.

Hotel didn’t have hot water and the staff didn’t tell us when we checked in- we heard it from other guests. The pool was ice cold and no hot showers either. Apparently the heaters had been broken for a week

Good location, close proximity to arena and restaurants. Staff friendly and attentive. Property is need of upkeep badly. Elevator makes horrible grinding noise stopping at floors. Rooms have peeling paint, missing furnishings, carpets need cleaning in room and hallways. Pool has been closed for maintenance for last year also

The breakfast as empty of items and no variety. When we first arrived the desk was friendly. When we got to the room ther was edging coming off the microwave stand. Had asked for coffee but never received.The lobby informed us the hot tub didn:t wirk it had a leak. We talked with manager because I only book hotels with hot tubs and she stated we should have received a email which we did not receive. The hot tub was still on website. It also stated a indoor pool so we went to check it out abd it was like ice bath.You assume with an indoor pool in KC, mo to be heated. This is definitely false advertisement..The second night the toilrt over flowed and the phone did not work so my daughter went to front desk and there was 2 men at desk and we were told the phones in all the rooms did not work, Also no maintenance so they found a plunger so my daughter to take care of it. so she plunged it and cleaned up.Also the 3 nights we were there not one time did a housekeeper come to the room for anything. Now I belive in enviromental measures but they could have at least emptied the trash and brought fresh towels. Again my daughter saw a housekeeper and asked for 2 to empty our trash. Another thing the coffee was never hot excep first thing in the morning. I tried to make tea and the hot water was lukewarm at best. We were there for my nephews wedding or I would of went somewhere else but we did not have time.Nothing worked. Only good thing was a decent bed. So what did we pay for?

Attendants staying in 2-3 rooms across from us was extremely loud. Beating on each others doors, yelling and laughing in hallway at 11-11:30 pm. Called downstairs and was ignored. No hot water in shower and water pressure extremely low. Indoor pool ice cold and hot tub broken.

Overall the stay wasn’t bad. The hot tub didn’t work which was a huge downfall. The pool was too cold to enjoy. The shower in our room was terrible as the head was spraying all over the place. The gentleman that was taking care of keeping the breakfast area stocked and clean was a little rude. You could tell that he didn’t really like his job. The room was clean. There needed to be more outdoor lighting. We arrived after dark and the parking lot was poorly lit. You can tell they are trying to do some renovations.

The listing on Expedia stated pool and hot tub but did NOT list that it was inoperable. Has not been working for over 2 years. When I got the email about the pool, it would have been too late to cancel as my booking was a no cancellation booking. Good thing we didn’t need the pool. Take that off of your listing so people aren’t misled.

Went to check in, and the lady at the desk was super nice! Went up to the room and bedding was dirty. Along with some trash left in the room. Went down let the lady at the desk know. She quickly put us in another room. Bedding appears to be clean however there were some trash left behind. Bathroom door wouldn't latch. Bathroom was dirty with chipping paint. If hadn't been a long day of baseball and availability, I would of asked to get out money back and found another hotel. Really disappointed in this one. On a positive note, the breakfast was pretty decent.

I dont think the room was cleaned thoroughly, there was plasticware on the bathroom floor and hair in the sheets. Also I picked this hotel over others that would have been more convenie t for me just for the hot tub, which was broken.

General hotel cleanliness was poor. Floors in lobby & door hallways were dirty with food & trash all over. The elevator floor had spilled cereal on the floor from the time we checked in and still there when we checked out 2 days later. The room was for the most part clean but bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped in quite some time. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch, front desk was reluctant to give us bed linens for it telling me it was already in the room. I had already checked the room thoroughly before asking and it there was none. I told her she could come check if she didn’t believe me and her response was “I can’t leave the desk”. She then handed me only a blanket. I asked for sheets to cover the mattress and pillows. She went back and got me sheets but refused to give me pillows telling me the pillows were on the bed. I said there were pillows on the bed for me and my husband but would like pillows for my teen daughter. She refused saying “people ask fòr pillows all the time and then steal them”. This was insulting and really uncalled for. The person in charge of the breakfast buffet both mornings was playing loud rap music, singing and “dancing” while sitting in his chair. One morning when he was closing things down he dropped something and loudly yelled “what the FU**!” Completely inappropriate with families sitting in there eating. Pool and hot tub not working and apparently have been out of service for 2+ years according to another guest

This is a safe and convenient option when visiting Kansas City. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It includes a small gym and pool, and lots of options for the breakfast that's included with your stay. My only concern was the cleanliness of the suite itself...lots of debris all over the floor in both the room and bathroom.

The bathroom specifically floor and tub had mold and needed repairs. The carpet was not clean in hall or room. The elevator was suspect of not working. The laundry was clean and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Our room had not been properly cleaned. We found a leftover bath towel in the bathroom and hair in the tub and sink. The bathroom and entry way didn't look swept. The management did apologize and give us another room and they made sure we had everything we needed.

In general the staff were friendly, however our room wasn't so great. They are under remodel but haven't started the first floor yet. The toilet in our room wobbled and kept running unless you messed with the handle just right, our window was broken at the seal so air from outside was leaking in, and the AC in our room did not work properly. They were booked so couldn't switch us rooms but also didn't try and really offer a solution to get the AC working in our room. Unfortunately had to sleep in a hot/humid room and was told they couldn't refund us or discount our room either. I understand they are renovating but it was very frustrating being at an outdoor concert to then come back to a 75 degree room and no chance of it cooling down.

We traveled to see baseball games. Hotel had good proximity to the stadium, shopping & restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was spacious & comfortable. Could use updating. Some areas needed repair, cleaning above & beyond the duties of housekeeping.

We stayed at this property for one night, 2 weeks in a row. Both times the AC was very poor - nearly nonexistent. Me and my grandkids slept in a hot room and didn’t much rest. I should have complained at the front desk but we were exhausted from 12 hour drives each time and just didn’t feel like fooling with it. I think we will choose a different hotel on our passes through from now on.

When we arrived for a 2 night stay, the front desk said that they had not received payment from a 3rd party. We paid for the hotel by credit card back in August. This caused us a lot of stress. We had to fogure it out and the hotel did not try to help. The same thing happened when we checked out. The hotel said that our payment had not gone through.

The young man at check-in was extremely pleasant as was the older gentleman cleaning up the breakfast area as we checked out! This Is the only positives I have to say about the property itself. We had called ahead of time to make sure the pool was up and running because we were going to have our grandkids with us right before school started. The pool was so cold that we could not get in it. The hot tub was emptied, but not covered or blocked off in any way. We also had mentioned that my husband has COPD and is very allergic to dogs and we could not have a room near any animals. It was after we arrived that they mentioned that all of their rooms are.” animal, friendly.” but they clean in between stays. This was severely lacking. I have pictures. There was white fur all over the stained couch and popcorn,wrappers There was a stain on the bedding and the phone is still sitting in both rooms, but did not work. The first room did have an animal smell to it. The young man behind the front desk was able to move us across the hall a dog had not stayed for a length of time… The room is better but again another piece of popcorn! Have a one and a half year-old grandchild if he found that he could have choked. There were still a few hairs (tub too) but it smelled much cleaner. For the price I knew it would need to be updated. I just need clean and no animals… They definitely withheld the truth with the hot tub being down and animals being allowed in all room rooms.

There was white fur all over the stained couch and popcorn,wrappers There was a stain on the bedding and the phone is still sitting in both rooms, but did not work. The first room did have an animal smell to it. The young man behind the front desk was able to move us across the hall a dog had not stayed for a length of time… The room is better but again another piece of popcorn! Have a one and a half year-old grandchild if he found that he could have choked. There were still a few hairs (tub too) but it smelled much cleaner. For the price I knew it would need to be updated. I just need clean and no animals… They definitely withheld the truth with the hot tub being down and animals being allowed in all room rooms.

General hotel cleanliness was poor. Floors in lobby & door hallways were dirty with food & trash all over. The elevator floor had spilled cereal on the floor from the time we checked in and still there when we checked out 2 days later. The room was for the most part clean but bathroom floor had not been swept or mopped in quite some time. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch, front desk was reluctant to give us bed linens for it telling me it was already in the room. I had already checked the room thoroughly before asking and it there was none. I told her she could come check if she didn’t believe me and her response was “I can’t leave the desk”. She then handed me only a blanket. I asked for sheets to cover the mattress and pillows. She went back and got me sheets but refused to give me pillows telling me the pillows were on the bed. I said there were pillows on the bed for me and my husband but would like pillows for my teen daughter. She refused saying “people ask fòr pillows all the time and then steal them”. This was insulting and really uncalled for. The person in charge of the breakfast buffet both mornings was playing loud rap music, singing and “dancing” while sitting in his chair. One morning when he was closing things down he dropped something and loudly yelled “what the FU**!” Completely inappropriate with families sitting in there eating. The room was nice, but the shower head barely functioned. It took an hour to check in, although I prepaid and the place seemed almost empty (the manager seemed unhinged, because she thought it was fine for me to wait an hour while she argued with Expedia). The breakfast was fine, but I mostly looked forward to the hot tub (which was not available) and a swim (the pool was very cold and looked dirty, so I didn't get in). So, nice room (except crumby shower), okay breakfast, unacceptable pool and no hot tub. I think I should get a partial refund for false advertising.

The pool in the hot tub are closed the whole time. The room that we stayed in from Thursday to Sunday never got cleaned until our last night as we had to complain about the service. Breakfast on the weekends ran out of food at 9:30 and when I asked if they would put some more out, the lady said that the food was going to quick and she wasn’t gonna do it. Pool and hot tub ice cold. No hot water in shower for two days. Elevator is terrifying and tiny. Room paint was busted/shabby, fridge hadn't been dedrosted in god knows how long and smelled. Breakfast was terrible. Snacks were stale. Coffee was burned. Desk person didn't give a crap, and I can't blame them because they work for the slum owner. Gross. Avoid at all cost.

The room was nice. Stocked, clean, great temperature when we walked in. Fun little reading lights attachted to the lamps. The staff was friendly. It was a busy weekend with a concert in town and a lot of guest. Breakfast was good. They had lots of options such as eggs, sausage, bisucts, gravy, danishs cereal, etc.. overall, we had a good 1 night stay and would stay again.

The breakfast as empty of items and no variety. When we first arrived the desk was friendly. When we got to the room ther was edging coming off the microwave stand. Had asked for coffee but never received.The lobby informed us the hot tub didn:t wirk it had a leak. We talked with manager because I only book hotels with hot tubs and she stated we should have received a email which we did not receive. The hot tub was still on website. It also stated a indoor pool so we went to check it out abd it was like ice bath.You assume with an indoor pool in KC, mo to be heated. This is definitely false advertisement..The second night the toilrt over flowed and the phone did not work so my daughter went to front desk and there was 2 men at desk and we were told the phones in all the rooms did not work, Also no maintenance so they found a plunger so my daughter to take care of it. so she plunged it and cleaned up.Also the 3 nights we were there not one time did a housekeeper come to the room for anything. Now I belive in enviromental measures but they could have at least emptied the trash and brought fresh towels. Again my daughter saw a housekeeper and asked for 2 to empty our trash. Another thing the coffee was never hot excep first thing in the morning. I tried to make tea and the hot water was lukewarm at best. We were there for my nephews wedding or I would of went somewhere else but we did not have time.Nothing worked. Only good thing was a decent bed. So what did we pay for?

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 14,12,10) felt very comfortable in this hotel. The room was perfect, needs were comfortable and the pillows were great!! Breakfast was amazing. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options for everyone. The coffee was brewed just right.

The “dog area” had trash in it ( beer bottles/fast food bags) plus dog poop from owners not cleaning up after there pets. Disappointed with outside appearance. When taking the dogs outside, we walked them down the stairwell, out the side door. It was very common to walk out into cigarette smoke or pot.
