Very very upset with this property. They required a $50 deposit, not stated on our reservation. Smelled of weed and cigarettes, the floor in the pool area was not to industry standard because it was incredible slippery. Complained about odor and that microwave did t work. The property was very well maintained. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchenette had everything you could need to make simple meals (microwave, refrigerator, 1 burner stovetop) and dishes, cups, glasses and silverware were all available. If you needed additional small appliances, they had them on loan near the front desk. The indoor pool was so refreshing and the hot tub so relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!

Great property, very quiet as it is set back from main streets. Location is great with access to many restaurants and shopping. Easy to get to and from Kauffman & Arrowhead Stadiums. Pool and hot tub area was clean, billiard area was nice as well. No complaints about the property as well, very safe neighborhood. Will stay here again when in town!

No kids along on this trip. There was a large loud family that monopolized the swimming pool and spa for quite a while. They left it messy. Towels everywhere, candy wrappers in the floor.

Bed bugs in our room! We stayed at this property on July 18, 2024. When we woke up to leave in the morning we discovered bed bugs in both queen beds. We had to leave around 4:30am but we told the night manager what we discovered. She was apologetic and said she’d tell the general manager. We also called the hotel to speak to the general manager. We left a message for her detailing our experience and (as of the writing of this review) have not heard from her. So, DO NOT stay at this hotel. Yes the property looks clean and the staff is friendly. It’s also a good location near I-70 and convenient if you’re traveling cross country as we were. But do not stay here until it’s clear the property has addressed the problem.

Nice facility in tucked-away, quiet location. Room overall was great, but AC seemed to not be functioning correctly and the carpet underneath it was sopping wet. This is a breeding ground for mold and not healthy. Won't be staying again.

This was a great hotel for our four-day trip to Independence. Very smooth check in process, great staff. Our room was very spacious with a full kitchen and large work desk. Our room was very clean, comfortable bed! Bonus was the pool, game room, and the biking trail nearby. We liked this hotel quite a bit, and will definitely return!

Its a nice place. The hotel was nice. Room was large. I had no issues with the hotel and area. But I wouldnt stay again. I paid for a king, got a queen. The gap around the door to the hall let in light all night. The bed was super hard. And the flush. Goodness, it sounded like it was about to launch every time we flushed. Guarantee it will never clog.

I was pleased with the suite, cleanliness and amenities. There was a noise coming from the refrigerated which occurred almost all night, like every 20-30 minutes and the humming from the bathroom fan which we could not turn off.

I was able to use the kitchen to make breakfast and for easy dinners. It has great workspace and connections for tech. The internet always worked and was fast. My car battery died overnight and the hotel manager gave me a jump and directed me to where I was able to get the new battery installed in less than a 1/2 hour. There are many kinds of restaurants less than a mile away.

Horrible experience. Booked this hotel for a softball tournament bc it’s close to our venue. When we arrived after playing all day, they had zero rooms available. Our rooms had been paid for, for 2 weeks prior. I had called early that day to be reassured we would have rooms. No rooms. Rude employees. Was told unless we wanted to clean our own room we were not getting a room. When we asked for a manager we were told no managers work on the weekends and it’s our problem. We were laughed at for being frustrated. Unprofessional and will never go back.

Waited in the lobby for an hour and 20 mins to check into our room. Frustrating as 15 plus other people all were able to check into theirs. Got to the room and tv didn't work. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

They cancelled my reservation after I spent all day on my bike riding 750 miles thinking I had a place to stay when I reached my destination only to find out it had been cancelled. No call no text no email no nothing. Took me almost 2 hours to find another hotel. Very unprofessional management. Didn’t even attempt to help me find other accommodations. Do not repeat do not trust this place will honor your reservation.

We had a total of 12 family members staying at the hotel to spend Christmas together and the hotel was clean, updated, and perfect for what we needed. My immediate family of 4 stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and the living room was spacious enough for us to put up a Christmas tree and host the entire family. We did bring extra folding chairs as they only have one chair at the table/island. The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator and pantry so we were able to purchase groceries and save a little money that way. The kids loved the game room and pool and my fur baby and I enjoyed the walking trail that runs along the river behind the hotel. The staff was wonderful and were happy to accommodate a late check out for our entire group. Location was great too with restaurants, shopping, and movie theater nearby. Overall, it was a great value and we would all definitely stay again!

While not luxury, it was super nice. Very clean, roomy, all the extras....mirrors,night lights, body products, cooking stuff, atove, fridge.... Dark and quiet, comfortable beds. Plus, Walking distance to event center, 24 hr gym amd hot tub. No bkfst but worth it. I will stay here again FOR SURE next time I want to see a band at cable dahmer event centee!

Nice place. Easy checkin. Lots of door dash options. Pool was quiet and relaxing. Had it all to ourselves. Definitely clean, as I'm a stickler for this. Did find one piece of trash under side of bed which makes me worry about floors, but it was probably just accidentally missed. Nice room layout. Backs to woods. Plenty quiet at night. Not a party hotel.
