For the price the room was good. The only issue was the other lodgers were extremely loud after 11 pm because of which we couldn’t sleep properly. They started talking loudly in the corridor loudly.

Stayed 2 nights

I had a bad feeling the moment we stepped in the property. And an even worse one when we entered the room. There was a damp smell that made me feel uncomfortable. was a lot of warnings about not smoking in the room but our smoke alarm had a plastic bag over it and there was stumped out fags and joints everywhere outside our room. My intital bad feelings came true when half the ceiling collapsed whilst we were laying in bed! With large parts of it hitting me, personal items such as food and makeup being ruined and had to be thrown away and our only clothes for the weekend being ruined by dust. We tried to contact the people and got no response until they just turned up. The first question was "was the people above jumping?" As though that would warrant the ceiling collapsing. They put us in another house which was much better than the first house but told us we could only stay the one night - didn't really understand why we couldn't stay in the 2nd house again as he had told us it wasn't being advertised yet but then there was people staying in multiple rooms. Didn't add up or make sense. But tbh we was glad to see the back of it all. The guy was a bit helpful I guess and apologetic. He gave us a full refund but that didn't cover any stuff we had to throw away or our clothes that were filthy! And we didn't have to ring multiple times to ask for the refund to be sorted, he said he was busy, thought this was taking the p as we were left hoteless after your ceiling fell on us!

Stayed 1 night

My room was spacious clean and comfortable. Good shared bathrooms and toilets and a fully equipped kitchen. Some of the furniture was a bit shabby chic but fine for a guest house. Plenty of street parking nearby; if you wanted to park right outside you'd need to buy a permit. Didn't meet the hosts but their messages were very clear
