1) No take out menu or information in room 2) Called Guest services got a recording 3) Called Room service requesting a menu. They said I have to come down to restaurant 4) Went to restaurant for menu, tried to take back to room, oh no you can't take that 5) After pointing out the ridiculousness of this I got a paper menu 6) went to front desk to report, they gave me free breakfast, which I did not use as I had other plans 7) requested house keeping every day, got it once 8) No hot tub, it was filled in with plants? Sorry this hotel is a glorified Motel 6.

Elevator did not work so, my parents in 80s had to walk one end of the building to other to get the elevator. Also, they started repairing the elevator too early. We lost our morning sleep:(

This used to be a great place. I've stayed here once a year for ten years on my annual trip south. But the facilities have deteriorated steadily. Broken elevators, broken doors, broken ice machines and they just stick a sign on them and say sorry. The rooms are similar to any new Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn but for $100 more. The facility no longer merits such an expensive price.

Only one night stay. Lobby and room very clean. Staff mostly friendly. Began charging for overnight parking which no other hotels in the area do, and didn't provide any advance notice. When I checked out they were supposed to email me the receipt but never did.

This is not a 4 star hotel. It is a 2 star masquerading as a 4. First, my room was unclean. There were stains on the toilet seat, “stuff”in the toilet, and clumps of hair in the shower. The room itself vibrated all night, obviously over something mechanical. And kids running up and down the hallways till very late. I called the front desk and was put on hold. Still waiting for them to pickup the call. As a Hilton Honors member I was embarrassed for Hilton. The room I was in should never have been sold. The air conditioning sounded like an angry bear every time it went on. On a hot and humid night I had to go without air. Misery would be too kind a word for what I was treated to by Hilton and this hotel.

We had our toilet overflow - maintenance stopped and cleared it, housekeeping brought us more towels and said they would return to clean the area because a great deal of water leaked all over the floor…we went to church, came back later that day, of course no one showed up to clean anything. The night before we went to bed at 10 pm, some sort of party was going on, we were on the first floor - and we were up until 2 am with people banging on and slamming doors, whooping and hollering at one another, someone’s dog was barking - ridiculous. We lost sleep and time. Incredibly expensive bar drinks - $19 for a 9 ounce wine pour? You’ve got to be kidding. Not my first Hilton complaint in the last few months. We are done giving them chances by increasing the hotel cost/supposed quality. Bye bye Hilton.

The property needs done attention. There was one side entrance near my room but broken and slammed into me when opened. Pealing paint in the bathroom. Had to wrestle with curtains to open patio door. The property was already very loud. The heating or perhaps the old fridge has a really loud buzzing. And because the hotel is pretty friendly, there were dogs barking loudly in the early morning.

Clean and comfortable. Beds, pillows, and bedding were comfortable and soft. Bathroom was clean with great water pressure and soaps/shampoos were good quality. Some furniture seemed slightly outdated in the room but still in great condition. Did not utilize the restaurant or breakfast but it looked impressive and would definitely try next time.

The property is clean and safe, easy to find. However i was not happy with the room 201, assigned by the front desk lady. The room is right next to the elevator. Very noisy when the elevator is moving up and down. Could not manage to sleep. It is nicer stuff in the evening, who acknoleged the issue and changed my room to a quieter area.

All was well but for the food and food prices. I was charged a ridiculous amount of money for cold, cut up bread and mediocre cheese dip that I thought would be warm and flavorful pretzel. I opted out of your breakfast as that would be an additional $20. The same breakfast was complimentary at 2 of your other properties I’d stayed at on this trip. However, the beds were comfortable and the courtyard room was quite nice. All staff was fabulous and friendly.

Our room was next to the elevator. Needless to say we barely got any sleep. The noice was so loud every time the elevator was used. We were informed no rooms were available to live us. The bathroom and room decor is very outdated. The bathroom vanity was so small and did not fit our belongings

The front desk attendee Michelle was rude and dismissive. We were there for a family gathering and when she attended to others she was not nice. She was not helpful on two requests made. She was dismissive and rude. The room service that we requested was not completed and when we called the front desk attendee she said we were not on the list and so they never sent someone. Even though we requested it. Terrible service. Would not be back as too many things were mismanaged.

Where do I begin? I paid for a Deluxe King room, but was given a Standard Double next the the elevator upon arrival. Then had to go thru the process of having them switch me to the proper room. I get to my room only to find it stale and the cable not working. I couldn’t even watch Monday Night football after a long day of work and travel. Then to top it all off, I notice a phantom $300 charge on my credit card a couple days later. I made four attempts to get help from management, and they refuse to take or return my call. What a frustrating experience! I expect better as a regular guest and rewards member. Seems they’re trying to squeeze every last dollar and hope people don’t realize. They sure won’t be getting any more of mine….

Checked in after working in the rain all day.. was tild AFTER i checked in that there was no running water. After 90mins, water came back on. Ran it for a good 45 mins and was still dirty. I checked out immediately. I inquired about a refund and they refused. Will never stay at a hilton hotel again. Terrible customer service!

The staff was very very professional and friendly from the front desk to the staff during breakfast. The room was clean and in good shape - breakfast was great with lots of choices - I’m a hotel snob and found this to be just as good as more expensive options… a definite redo - half the price of hotels closer to UDel campus

I recently stayed at hilton wilmington/christiana and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, very comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The service was exceptional, and every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to help. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It truly exceeded my expectations!

Theresa at the omelet station for breakfast was the shining star of our stay. She was absolutely wonderful and took the time to be warm, welcoming and connect. Thank you Hilton for making our overnight stay enjoyable. It was a gift being able to connect with other like minded people on your property and then feel welcomed the next day by Theresa.
