It was a fine place to sleep and shower but nothing special at all about the hotel itself. The pool area could use some updating and shady spots. The whole time I was there, the cabanas were reserved but empty so perhaps a reconsideration of pricing is in order! The pool bar opens too late also, most open at 10am in my experience

Don’t rent a car if you stay here. $55 a day is more than in NYC. That equals two nights in the hotel if you stay a week Very close to everything and walking distance to the beach

I was very disappointed with the pool area! The 45$ a day charge was not worth it we never were able to use the pool! It was full of children constantly and the pool was small, hot tub also in the evening full of kids! Then the bar closed early several days while we were there. They also close the pool area early! They had 4 fireplaces with lovely couches you could enjoy in the evening with friends. But the area closed early so we were asked to leave once again at around 8:30pm. We also tried to eat at the 24/7 restaurant but it was closed several days also. In the early evening.

My group and I had a pleasant experience at the Hilton Waikīkī Resort and Spa. Parking: Valet only and the daily rate is $55 Our rooms were located on the 8th floor and we liked that you needed to use your room key to choose your floor on the elevator (security, kudos!). You didn’t need your key card to access the second floor which held the DVD rental kiosks and gym, nor for the 10th where the pool, outdoor bar, mini golf and fire pits were located. We liked the convenience of being able to check out towels to use when visiting the beach. There was an option to rent beach chairs, but that wasn’t something we opted for, it was nice to have the option though. The beach was walking distance, which was nice considering how difficult parking was along the beach. We were walking distance from various ABC Stores & eateries: restaurants & food trucks. The International Marketplace was also walking distance. At check in we were given a small flier & were advised to swap it out for a coupon book at the marketplace. We rented a few DVD’s & the process was easy. We did use the pool: it’s only 4ft deep. Our beds were comfortable & our view of the city was beautiful especially when the sun was rising. Our rooms were cleaned daily & towels swapped out. This was my first time in Hawaii, but my family that had previously been, stated their stay at Hilton Waikīkī Resort & Spa was better than the hotel they stayed in at their previous visit & would want to come back here.

Staff very polite and helpful, great place to eat downstairs Mac 24/7 and other great options in walking distance as well as shopping. Swimming pool with bar and corn hole and miniature golf is nice. Workout has cardio, but no weights, which was a little disappointing, but over all a great place to stay 👍👍👍

The location of the property was perfect. It was centrally located on Waikiki and close to the beach. Loved the roof top pool and bar. The eating options at the hotel were very convenient. Staff all around, bar / restaurants / housekeeping, were all friendly and very competent.

This hotel is not as pictured, the photos in the listing and bedrooms make it look like luxury and it was far from it. Got to hotel and they didn't have the room we booked, there is no parking on site and must valet for $55 a day. Disappointment by the overall experience.

Stayed for 6 nights. Room service did not change bedding, left dirty towels in room, didn’t replace toilet paper…. Was pretty upset about this. We also found dirty clothes from previous guest under bed. There are a ton of resort fees and everything was very over priced. For the amount paid to stay here, was not impressed.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the condition of my room during my recent stay at your hotel. When I first entered the room, it was noticeably dirty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards. On the second day, the hairdryer stopped working, which was inconvenient. Most concerning of all, on my last day, I found a cockroach in the room. This was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance. I hope you take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve your service. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this situation will be addressed.

Loved the huge lobby and relaxing areas to hang out and enjoy a drink or morning coffee with our group. The pool area is clean and beautiful. Elevators are fast! The room is comfortable and clean but wish the toilet was cleaned better. The built up pee stain in the hinge area of the lid was surprising to me and disappointing to see it neglected the two times my room was cleaned. Please give the maid staff a tiny brush to be able to clean that neglected area that is hard to reach but easy to see. Other than that, loved the comfy bed and pristine white sheets. The balcony was lovely and I’ll miss the sound of those birds. The coffee shop was always good. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Loved the location being so close to the beach as well!

On arrival we were told we needed to find parking elsewhere because the vehicle we brought was “oversized” and the lot for those were full. Spoke to the front desk about it and was referred to a manager who told us she’s worked at 4 different hotels and “that’s how it works with oversized.” She told us we could go back home and bring a smaller vehicle or find parking elsewhere and uber to the hotel. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. The room was alright but there was something that looked like blood on the sheets. Overall this hotel stay was below average compared to other hotels around the area we’ve stayed at.

Some parts of the hotel are looking rather run-down, with many of the carpets stained and not even properly vacuumed. The room was reasonably clean at least, but the pillows were uncomfortable. There are often long waits for the lifts, as there are only 5 lifts for 37 floors. The location is pretty good, and it's not too far to the beach. It is helpful to have on-site laundry facilities (pay per use). Not every floor has an ice machine though, which is a bit inconvenient. One positive thing is that the rooms are quiet and we didn't hear anything from adjacent rooms.

Extremely clean and very comfortable hotel in a good location. Pool deck is lovely, towels are fluffy and linens are very clean. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom and shower is a good size with nice finishes. The only thing I would suggest is a couple of small tub chairs for seating would be a welcome addition. There is a large desk with an office type rolling chair, we would have preferred having a little sitting area instead.

We have stayed here 3 times now and the hotel is in need of serious repairs. I had to call maintenance everyday for three days. AC kept leaking and rug was wet in several places. TV is old! Pre-smart tv. We won’t stay again unless we find out some updating has happened.

A great room with two spacious and very comfortable queen sized beds. Great location, steps away from the beach and the bust beach front walkway surrounded by all the shops and restaurants. Great pool and bar facilities to enjoy a swop and drink, even if the bar does close quite early at sunset. Plenty of room to lounge and unwind around the pool. Would highly recommend the hotel for those seeking a comfortable stay with a great location . The buffet breakfast options however fall considerably short of breakfast standards/options offered by hotels at similar price points elsewhere in Europe, Asia or Australia.

The best part of this hotel is the closeness of the beach. Majority of staff are not the friendliest. Tour desk staff were most approachable. Bell desk two particular girls were extremely dismissive and simply ignored me while I stood there watching them have discussions laughing with themselves and flirting with another male staff. No acknowledgement or even an Aloha, when finally asked it felt that we were a bother. Overall not a great experience for our first time at this Hilton. Will not recommend or return for to stay.

Check in at the hotel was a nightmare. The front desk person tried to make us take a kings bedroom instead of my booked2 queens bedroom and continued to negotiate by even offering to waive the resort fee.Finally when I refused she quietly gave a key to the queens room that was already available. The whole process made me wait at front desk for half an hour. The manager at the hotel was horrible.He refused to listen to my concern regarding food voucher for my daughter and kept repeating that their staff made a mistake but he doesn’t care . The hotel overall was clean and nice pool and space On 10th floor was awesome. Waking distance from beach. Breakfast crew on Mac are great!

Over all we had a fantastic stay, the only down side was the welcome gift. I was advised the gift was a tour of another Hilton property and for doing the tour I would receive a $150 Mastercard gift card. When I queried why they would offer tours I was told it was for marketing so I presumed a review would be required. When me and my partner arrived to the hotel for the tour we were surprised with an almost 3 hour sales meeting about timeshares. The sales representatives were incredibly pushy and would not accept that we went not interested. They kept sending other reps in to speak to us and they clearly trying to confuse us with numbers and interest rates as they knew we didn’t have any knowledge on this topic. One salesman did not like when my partner said thank you for the pitch but I’m not interested, he said this isn’t a sales pitch and left the room visibly offended another salesman in particular was incredibly intense, he came in and initially pretended he was not a salesman and was there to fix the computer. He then started giving us stats on mortgages and 401k?? We are not American and had advised that this information is not relevant many times. He then quite aggressively told me I am 8 times more likely to die from heart disease if I don’t go on vacation more often. As a heart patient this was incredibly insensitive and also not a correct stat! It would have been really appreciated if I was told what the meeting was about as I would not have attended.

Great hotel a few blocks from the beach. A little further from the main strip on Waikiki Beach which was actually nice to be a little removed from that very busy area. Hotel restaurant was just okay but so many other options nearby. However, grab and go area was great. Activities desk was very knowledgeable. View of the ocean was gorgeous set with some of the backdrop of the city. Walking distance to the zoo. Valet service was excellent. Overall, it was a great place to stay. We’d definitely return.

Room is spacious. Staff is nice. There is the Waikiki trolley (pink line) stop in front of the Hilton so that I didn't use other transportation. Breakfast is the worst in my whole traveling ($ 27 per person). I strongly don't recommend because it makes me the bad memory of the my traveling

We've stayed here before. We actually started our vacation with a stay here. This room wasn't as good as the first time. But, I'd still come back and tell my friends about it. The service was great, and checking in and out was fast. The valet was excellent. The restaurant food could be better. Overall, I would rate stay as 4.5.
