Our room was not clean (I didn’t bother complaining), but the shower was great. We had an unfortunate experience with one of the younger front desk employees, but Quintin (sp) made the situation better. I don’t know if I would stay again. Likely not.

The hotel is suitable for a couple of overnight stay, but not for the longer vacation. During my almost three week stay I had to complain about the cleaning service four times. They did a half-ass job with the service. When I checked in, the bathroom was awful. The mirror had smudges and the shower wall was filthy. I complained, and they redid the room. I don't know if its the American products, lack of training or what it is, but the bathroom was always smudged. The hotel took all my complaints about the service seriously, they always fixed the problems; cleaning, lack of towels. But they never went the extra mile. The lanai was swiped once, when I complained. The floors were never properly cleaned, nor the sink or shelfs. If I had missed a drop myself, I would find it after service. So their cleaning service is horrible. The gym is super small, with no treadmill, so you have to run in the concrete jungle that is Waikiki. The pool is also super small, and I never used it. The hotel suffers from being poorly maintained. Laundry machines out of service, ice machine out service for days. Leakage from the ceiling in the lobby, the luggage room has no functioning air condition. I was offered a complementary pool pass on my last day, so I could use the shower before leaving in the evening. No working vent, also filthy and could use a proper scrub. The only thing good about the hotel is the staff at the reception. They are super friendly and helpful.

This was a lovely budget friendly hotel. The staff was readily available and helpful. It wasn’t as luxurious as I anticipated from The pictures and there is major construction across the street that was quite loud but overall it was a good experience.

The room is ok, although wasn't as clean as we hope it would be. The kitchen is great with very nice cookware which is a big plus. Fantastic location as it is walking distance from lots of restaurant and shopping malls. We were delighted to be able to check in earlier and Vince was VERY friendly and helpful, great start to our stay. As does the lady who helped us checked out (an Asian lady with long hair). Exception was one other lady at counter whom we have encountered a few times and felt was not too friendly which was a bit surprising for a hospitality professional in Hawaii
