We were on the second floor and the stairwell had a note that said it was out of order. And it was close to our door. We did like that they had sandwiches and potato salad and a little dessert when we arrive there.

We got locked into the back patio of the hotel. The 6 foot fence had a padlock on it and the door to get in hotel did not have a key pad and the door was locked. We tried to call the front desk the phone did not work found out later the phone line was knocked out from a storm the week prior. We called corporate they could not reach hotel so advised to call 911, police could not reach hotel so police came to hotel to let us back in. A real safety issue. Corporate said they would make it right but did not follow up to I had to call, they offered points, not even enough for one night anywhere.

Hotel was under remodeling. Pool and hot tub were not reachable. Breakfast was grab and go only. Checkin was through back door in the middle of a hallway. They had technical difficulties with credit c as rd machine at checkin slowing thr process as they needed to run cc for incidentals. At 9:15am housekeeping was knocking in the door to clean the room.

The only exits from the building were from the front door and back patio. We were on the 2nd floor and near an exit door except it said out of order and was boarded up. We are elderly and asked if we could move to the first floor or nearer to the front of the building. The person at the desk was extremely rude in their response of no. We stayed here but cannot reccomend for safety reasons.

We had no idea while booking online that the hotel was under renovations. With that, means very limited parking (which was not great for a 26’ U-Haul) and no kitchen. They passed out little red ticket stubs to exchange for a bagged breakfast (microwaveable breakfast sandwich with a piece of fruit and a drink.) The room was not very clean at all, they did not seem to even change out the bedding on the pull out couch which has something smeared across the side of it. The shower was pretty dirty looking too. The beds were TERRRRRIBLE, no exaggeration, and the only thing we enjoyed while there was Peg A at the front desk. She was funny and made check-in great for me. The worst part was that I paid online for a suite with 2 QUEEN beds. I received a standard room with only two full size beds (yes, there is a difference when you’re sleeping with a toddler between you and your spouse,) and no separate area for the people in the pull-out couch. It’s the only reason I booked this hotel while traveling. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon arrival we noticed that both of the sleeping comforters had stains on them and it was obvious that they were not washed. The hotel was unkept. The business center was closed, every vending machine was out of order, the jacuzzi had yellow caution tape all over it. It is apparent that regular maintenance is not happening. This was the most expensive hotel on our trip and the worst experience

Pros: Staff at front desk was super nice. Cons: The hotel rooms were not cleaned well. I was able to get a container of disinfectants and wipe around the toilet and tub. They were black when I finished cleaning. The bed was clean and comfortable and the rest of the room was ok. Just dirt and hairs around the baseboards especially in the bathroom. Shower could use new shower curtain too. The BF was not great either. Just generic egg omelets that seemed like they were prepackaged. Overall the place was right off 70 and ultimately what you would get for $80-$90/night, but because it was a holiday weekend we paid $165 … so that was a little frustrating. Wish we could have just driven the rest of the way home.

We found clipped fingernails in our room. There was also hair clippings in the bathroom. The sheets had stains on them. The breakfast selections were very good.

Room was filthy with soiled sheets. Staff offered to hand us new sheets so we could strip the bed and remake it. Ended up in a different room. Not a nice place to stay and it was a ghost town. Keep driving!

The room was filthy when we checked in. I emailed the manager and sent pictures. It has been a week and still no response. I am in this area 4-5 times a year. I will not be staying here again.

Checked in late at night. Front desk worker was fantastic! The room had some issues but we were too tired to deal with it. Stains on the bedspread and floor, and the toilet seat was loose enough it moved a full inch, not a stable at all. Room had a stale old smell. On the flip side, the bed was cozy, the water pressure, breakfast was tasty and service workers were friendly. Didn’t feel like it was worth the amount we paid.

This hotel lives up to it's good reviews. Friendly staff, clean room. We had an accessible room as I have trouble with my hip and need handicap bars. It had a built in chaise/couch which was nice. Washer and dryer at hotel, only one set, but reasonable...worked well. Breakfast was GREAT! The pastries were under a warming light....3 brands of yogurt to choose from....4 warmers with scrambled eggs and omelettes in one, sausage patties in another, fried potatoes in another and biscuits/gravy in a 4th. All had self closing lids, so you didn't have to figure out where to set the cover and glass inserts so you could see what was inside...also crocks next to each to hold the serving utensils, so the handles didn't end up in the food. We are both gluten sensitive, so appreciate the choices we had. The rest was typical hotel food. The breakfast attendant was friendly and efficient. Just a really great experience!

the only negative about this hotel is that the downstair rooms can obviously hear everything the upstairs does. even walking the downstairs under us was beating on the ceiling saying we was loud and we was only walking in the room. the staff came and asked us to stop jumping and no one was jumping at all. not sure if it was just us and our downstairs "neighbor" was extra sensitive to sound or what, but the staff was so super friendly! no complaints from us at all! we would stay here again for sure.

We were just traveling thru, but our overnight stay was great! Got a suite and it was nice to have a sofa and extra roomy. The free breakfast was the best I've ever had traveling!

The room was clean and fine. The bed was very hard and the AC was set to 64 but never got below 74. It was warm all night. The breakfast was a mess, one poor lady was trying to keep it all afloat by herself. She did a great job, but the floors had food all over, the pancake machine was broken. Lots of things were not filled. The lobby and common areas are not updated like the rooms.

The property is nice and updated. The front desk clerk was rude upon check-in, asking irrelevant questions. Also the AC in the room was making all sorts of noises we barely got any sleep. Calls to the front desk resulted in no action.

Excellent place to stay. A comfortable bed, hot breakfast, and nice staff made iur stay pleasant. I recommend! We liked it so well, we booked 3 nights at another Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites at our destination!

Receptionist gave us a room that someone was in there already. We walked in and the person was sleeping. I dont even know if he knew we walked into his room. Very dangerous what if we were some creeps and we walked in a single women's room. She didn't even apologize! Then she gave us another room and the key card was not activated. Made 3 trips to the Receptionist at 1:30am after a 5 hrs drive!! She never apologize for anything.

The only exits from the building were from the front door and back patio. We were on the 2nd floor and near an exit door except it said out of order and was boarded up. We are elderly and asked if we could move to the first floor or nearer to the front of the building. The person at the desk was extremely rude in their response of no. We stayed here but cannot reccomend for safety reasons.

I really liked the property! It was important to us to have a pet friendly, comfortable stay. Breakfast is excellent for this class of stay and staff are friendly. But the location on the outskirts of town is pretty dismal. Nothing within safe walking distance, no grocery, restaurants or drugstores.

This hotel lives up to it's good reviews. Friendly staff, clean room. We had an accessible room as I have trouble with my hip and need handicap bars. It had a built in chaise/couch which was nice. Washer and dryer at hotel, only one set, but reasonable...worked well. Breakfast was GREAT! The pastries were under a warming light....3 brands of yogurt to choose from....4 warmers with scrambled eggs and omelettes in one, sausage patties in another, fried potatoes in another and biscuits/gravy in a 4th. All had self closing lids, so you didn't have to figure out where to set the cover and glass inserts so you could see what was inside...also crocks next to each to hold the serving utensils, so the handles didn't end up in the food. We are both gluten sensitive, so appreciate the choices we had. The rest was typical hotel food. The breakfast attendant was friendly and efficient. Just a really great experience!

Not your typical Holiday Inn. Very disappointed with the hotel and breakfast. They prepackaged muffins and other food in ziplock bags. The quality of the food was poor. The hotel was extremely large and very odd . Not in my future travel plans.

Hotel was under remodeling. Pool and hot tub were not reachable. Breakfast was grab and go only. Checkin was through back door in the middle of a hallway. They had technical difficulties with credit c as rd machine at checkin slowing thr process as they needed to run cc for incidentals. At 9:15am housekeeping was knocking in the door to clean the room.

Best breakfast ever! I’ve stayed at many hotels and many Holiday Inn Express’. This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The biscuits were tender and moist, the sausage gravy actually has small bits of sausage. The food was fresh, bacon was crisp, the dinning room was clean. Our only disappointment was the juice seemed like it was dispensing an incorrect ratio of water to juice. It was watered down a little. But the fruit was fresh, it was hands down an excellent continental breakfast!! Kudos to the lady working it. She’s amazing.

Lots of things were not filled. The lobby and common areas are not updated like the rooms.
