Best Western Plus Raton Hotel

Staff was friendly. No real good options in Raton for hotels or dining.

Very nice hotel. Room with king size bed was clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was available and very good. Only problem was the walls were thin. We had a room by the pool and it was noisy. However, the pool closes at 9 pm and then it was quiet. The problem was we could hear the people in the next room who were loud until 1 am. And the people above us came in very late and we could hear their luggage come up the stairs and hear them move around above us. If you can get a room that is more quiet, this is a very nice place to stay in Raton, NM.

We always stay here when we come to Raton. It's hard to find a place better than this anywhere west of the Mississippi.

Lovely Best Western in Raton. Our room was clean and spacious. Had a long day of drinking and then some mechanical issues so we decided to stay and eat at Mulligan’s and I’m so glad we did. We had a nice beer on draft and the a delicious dinner of grilled salmon and a cowboy steak smothered in rich brown gravy. The only thing I wanted to do but time didn’t permit was swim. We had the lovely courtyard and pool right outside our room. Next time!
