Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth University Drive

We picked this property because of the indoor pool for 5 children to have for spring break. Upon check in we find that the pool is closed. No explanation given. Room had new carpet but the room was not updated. Staff was great

This site is not free parking. We were charged $5 per day for parking. I believe this is new, as we were not charged the previous month.

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The only issue we encountered was that they now charge $5 per night for parking. It was free a month ago. Expedia still shows it as free, but the hotel website indicates the charge. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Otherwise, the hotel was fine

We didn’t get to use the indoor pool but I could see it was kept nice, looked very clean. Horace was nice at check in.

The location was convenient to the zoo, shopping and dinning. Price was right was for a quick fun trip to Fort Worth. Shower head was broken. Pool was out of service. Other than that it was a good stay.

I dont have a car but they charges me $5.00 per night for it.

the pool was supposed to be heated but it was not. we were looking forward to a swim but water was too cold.That was very disappointing for everyone!!

We booked based on indoor heated pool. They failed to mention it was closed for maintenance the entire time. Very disappointed, however the gentleman at the front counter was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is clean and in good shape; location is very convenient. Indoor pool, but hot tub has been removed. Elevator is very slow. Breakfast area is clean and staff nice, but food is prison grade. Coffee/tea in lobby is good; there is a coffee maker in the room, as well.

Property is in pretty poor condition compared to other Fairfields. Staff is nice. Was surprised they charge $3 a night for parking when it is a huge parking lot. Rooms are very used and the gym doesn't have any equipment. Nice location, close to the freeway and shopping/dining options.

Check in was quick, staff super friendly and the breakfast buffet excellent. The only negative remark are the dead bugs beneath the head board that housekeeping missed. Yes we always look under beds and behind furniture when we check in

My family and I recently stayed at your hotel from May 1st to May 3rd, 2025, during a very special occasion—my husband’s graduation. We selected your hotel based on its proximity to the university, the positive reviews, and the reputation of your hotel chain, all of which led us to believe we had made a reliable and comfortable choice. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations. The general cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were below acceptable standards. Most notably, on the evening of May 2nd, upon returning to Room 320 around 7 PM, we were dismayed to find that no housekeeping services had been provided. The beds were not made, the used towels had not been replaced, and the rubbish bins had not been emptied. My husband had to personally take the damp towels down to reception in order to request clean ones. The only response given was an apology and the explanation that no housekeeping staff were available at that time. Though disappointed, we decided to make the beds ourselves and stay the night, as we had already paid for it. Later, we attempted to use the television to watch Netflix, but were unable to connect to the internet. We tried several options before calling reception. A courteous gentleman came to assist us and confirmed, unfortunately, that there was no internet access available. To summarise: no housekeeping, no internet—basic services that we expected as part of our stay were entirely unavailable.

The carpet was older and we had to change rooms due to (1) foul order in bathroom caused by (2) towels and washrags stuffed down in toilet, which had no water in it. Could not use that bathroom faci ity. Lady on staff handled it well and immediately switched our room.

I stayed here a year ago, and it was fine. This time, our room was VERY dark. We had a lamp on the nightstand with only one working bulb. That was the only lamp in the room - no desk lamp, no floor lamp. Also, the shower had hairs that were not mine in it, and the bathroom floor was sticky. There was no full length mirror in the room.

Clean facility and courteous staff

The location is a bit of a challenge to navigate to but the biggest problem is that there were multiple types of bugs in my room. There were spiders in the bed and crickets and something else in the shower. I was also surprised that no soap was offered.

The location is wonderful if you’re attending an event at Dickies Arena and the area has really nice stores within walking distance. However, the hotel is old and not so clean, our bath tub was filthy and drained too slow. Beds are not so great as the pillows and cleanness need to be improved. I feel we payed a lot for what we got. Convenience store did not even offer bottled water.

The cleaning crew was lackluster and did not give me new towels or toilet paper. One of their front desk attendants was smoking pot with the tenants and would leave the desk unattended. Construction inside the property without any notice. Very dated and old. Musty odor. Won't be returning to a Marriot anytime.

Very noisy, loud trains, and traffic.

The train in the middle of the night behind the property is very loud!!! Both nights woke us up at 4am.

The only issue with this property is the traffic noise. But I went into this knowing that would be there because of the proximity to the interstate.

The staff was nice, free parking, nice breakfast but the building was out dated so it wasn’t soundproof. I could hear people waking, the sound of bed above my unit at night constantly, Plus it is located literally right next roads, noisy outside.

I have stayed at this Fairfield Inn several times and always had a very pleasant stay. I appreciate that the rooms are pretty well sound-proofed. Great location: One mile to Fort Worth museum district and one block to hop on Hwy 30 to get to Dallas easily. The river is behind the hotel. Restaurants nearby.

The hotel is located next to an elevated freeway and an elevated train track. The traffic noise is amplified under the elevated freeway. There are trains that are constantly passing by the hotel. I was woken up several times from the traffic noise and the trains going by. I had planned to stay 2 nights but canceled the 2nd night due to lack of sleep and noise. I do not recommend this location.

Bed confort is awesome! I’ll stay next time

The hotel staff was very personable and friendly. The hotel was very clean. Of 2 Queen beds in room 300, one was a bit on the lumpy side, but the other one was very comfortable.

If I had realized which property this was when I made my reservation, I would have gone elsewhere; it's just an older property that has been refurbed many times over the years. Nevertheless, I like the Fairfield line, so I went with that over paying attention to which location it was. All was fine though- really. I just don't love the corner of University & I-30. BUT- is is a locale with quick access to the best of Ft. Worth & loads of food options. My room was good enough, though the A/C was a little "aged." Shower could use some "demolding" & drain clearing. Bed was comfy, breakfast was good, & I REALLY appreciate being able to sign on & stream my own accounts on the TV. Didn't love that more than half the parking lot lights are out AND they charge $3/ day for parking in a self-park lot...with hardly any light & warning signs to keep things out of sight in your car. Is there security to pay for with my piddling $3?

Our family visited a few days ago for the AJR concert. Horace made it a point to go above and beyond for us. Exceptional customer service! The rest of the staff was extremely kind and helpful as well. We will definitely be back!

Horace was the MVP this weekend while we stayed. He was very good at treating us, made sure we needed anything at anytime. This guy was incredible and when I was about to drive back home he helped me with my bags. Horace you are the man. 421 out.

From the moment we entered, the reception was warm and inviting. Niece has special needs and she was pretending to do magic by opening and closing the (automatic) door. Grover(?) did not get upset. Gave us a few options for food delivery. Wonderful!

What do that was the staff! Dawn, who was working at the front desk, help me connect to the Internet via my laptop. Then, the day I checked out I couldn’t find my cell phone and thought I had left it in my room. Dawn accompanied me back to my room to help look for my phone she even called my phone from her phone. To my embarrassment, I found my phone in one of my pocket pockets later but she was very helpful and very polite and very patient with me. Tonetta is a traveling manager: she greeted me during breakfast my first morning. We had a discussion about North Carolina, where she is from. The following morning she again greeted me at breakfast and recalled our conversation from the previous day. She is an asset to your management staff with skills in customer engagement!

Wonderful front desk personnel. Room kept very clean

I have stayed here many times and this past trip was the worse. Staff used to be very friendly, this time I experienced snappy and not helpful. The stairwell had a damaged curtain rod and old damaged curtains laying in the stairwell from Thursday 8/7 through 8/10. At one stage the rod even was on the stairs which could have caused someone to trip. I found the hotel more rundown this trip. Like I mentioned I have had very good experiences prior to this one. Sorry I cant be more upbeat.

I like that its so close to the Dickies arena! Delicious breakfast included.

We stayed for a concert at Dickies arena. This was in a prime location, max about 10 minutes away. It’s parking lot was connected to a pancake house that’s open 24/7, and a few fast food spots. If you have more time, it’s close to the zoo as well as the botanical garden. Staff was so friendly, and our room was clean. it was a dream to come back and sleep comfortably. The only thing that’s not at all because of the hotel, just to let future guests know, the intersection where the hotel rests can be a little tricky and gets busy, but still overall a great stay for us and will definitely stay again.

It's a nice and clean property with friendly staff. The breakfast has good selection as well. There is a shopping plaza with interesting restaurant options within walking distance. A nearby train track can get a bit noisy, and the area around the hotel appear to be in construction as of Aug 2024.

Great location by TCU and very comfortable, good breakfast

We only stayed for two nights. It was very clean and fresh The bathroom was well stocked with towles and soapes and it was also very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They new the surrounding places to visit. We especially love the museums which were very close by. The best place to eat was the OL' South Pancake House, which is one building away within walking distance. Best pancakes we ever ate and the Chicken Fried steak was Excellant. The also have a Senior menu.

Got a nice sleep after watching a concert nearby. No issues with freeway noise from nearby IH-30

I thought it might be noisy being close to the freeway but it was not. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selections.

Good service & great BREAKFAST! Beds were comfortable. Priced well, but the building is showing some wear. They’ve made some improvements but the bathtub & shower fixture needs replacing. The carpet was CLEAN & bedding looked and smells CLEAN! Overall, it was a good stay but just an older Fairfield inn vs what I’ve stayed in recently

Was not at all what I expected. Elevator slow and shakes. Room was musty smelling. At the breakfast bar got a mouthful of spoiled milk. Awful!!

Everything was good. The room was nice and clean. The hosts were good, but the breakfast hard to say continental in front of it terrible breakfast. The sauces was not even breakfast. Sausage would not recommend the breakfast everything else good Thank God they haven't all salt pancake house out front.
