Clean, modern, safe. We loved our stay! Breakfast was simple but delicious. Internet worked well! No micro in room but you can use the one in the lobby. Super friendly staff and very welcoming at check in. Thanks!

There was constantly a big puddle in the hallway outside of the pool. I almost slipped and fell because of the wet floor. Maybe some type of mat would solve the problem unless you can assign staff to mop the area up at every half to whole hour during pool hours.

I booked this hotel as it advertised pool and when upon arrival, there was a sign. Pool closed for service. Disappointed as I was traveling with 3 children and wanted to expend some energy after being in a car for 7 hours.

When arrived found out the pool and fitness center were both closed for issues and renovations. Only vending machine on property also out of order. No mention of issues with pool or fitness center mentioned when I booked the property

Traveling north, I needed a nice clean place to stay for the night, and this hotel definitely fit the bill. The bathroom was clean also and the bed was comfortable.

The check in was really slow, which on the surface is no big deal, but it’s at the time for the night. The rooms are not really that clean. Somebody needs to tell all hotel housekeeping, managers that if floors are sticky after you’ve mopped, you’re either using something that has to be rinsed or you’re using way too much. Sticky floors are disgusting. They included breakfast, which is really limited and not great. I stayed again in Winchester on my way back home and chose a different hotel.

This was a 3 night stay for our grandson's graduation. The room was clean and neat and new. Perfectly adequate.BUT, we hadn't realized that rooms were only "refreshed" every other day. When we returned to the room on the THIRD day and it still had not had beds "refreshed", towels had not been collected and replaced, trash had not been emptied~~I went to the desk and alerted them to the problem. They apologize and said it would be corrected by the time we came back. That evening when we returned, it was STILL a mess. I ent to the desk again to inform them and they at least gave me a pile of clean towels to take up to the room. I feel they should have offered to comp us for at least one of the three nights of the stay. VERY disappointing.

There was a bad smell in the room. It felt like a dog had stayed there. We saw guests with pets at the hotel. At breakfast, No coffee and nobody at front desk to ask for a refill. Room coffee maker did not work....

Broken shower door flooded the bathroom and entry everytime someone took a shower. No coffee maker in the room. Bed was up against the wall with the elevators.

Our room had a terrible chemical smell and unfortunately the window wouldn't open. I should have asked to change rooms but I thought it would ease up. I could hear the TV in a nearby room. The desk clerk tried to find out what room but couldn't. There is no microwave or coffee in the room. Those have become basics in a hotel room.

Bed placement next to wall so AC blows directly on occupant. No coffee in room. Toilet fan connected to light switch. Not independent operation and noisy. Lights near bed not on flexible neck so it was difficult for reading. Obvious to us the designer never spent a night in the room. If trying to economize suggest you drop the pool and add a few room comfort amenities.

Everything was wonderful and the staff was amazing! The only issue was the design of the building. They have centralized lobby that opens up to all the rooms. There was a group in the lobby late at night and it made it very loud in the rooms. I noted multiple guests asking for room changes because of the noise. It was all because of poor building design.

The lady who checked us in was a sweetheart. The room itself was nice and the bed very comfortable. However, sound traveled quite easily through our door…our room was right beside the stairway door. All we heard at all hours was that stairway door slamming shut.

Can’t really speak to it as the hotel was overbooked and we got placed in a different hotel that had a way lower nightly rate and 20 minutes from where we needed to be. I have had no support from either Hilton or hotels.com so I would be careful booking at Hilton hotels or through hotels.com in the future and would urge caution when booking to others.

Hotel was nice - big room. Super clean. Nice public space. Very disappointing breakfast. All they had was toast, folger coffee, full fat yogurt and Jimmy dean microwavable sandwiches. That may be great by many, but not us. We won’t stay again.

We actually stayed at Spark by Hilton in Winchester, VA twice: once on our way down to Florida from CT, and once returning to CT. During both stays, we found the room clean, the staff friendly, and the bagel breakfast just right for our needs. Please be aware that this hotel does not provide a hot breakfast.

Lighting in the room was bright—not dingy with underpowered light fixtures. NO carpets in the rooms. I dislike dirty carpeting in rooms as there’s no way they are going to be clean. Many European hotels have laminate floors in their hotel rooms for decades. Property was clean and bright. Although they have a continental breakfast it would be nice to have a couple of “hot items” like sausages and eggs.

No coffee maker, no microwave, no clock in the room. No way of having a hot drink when required ! The breakfast was dreadful. No hot food, no cereal, no bread. If you liked bagels and jam it was perfect ! It should be called Hotel by SPARSE. We would not go there again
