Days Inn by Wyndham near Kansas Speedway

The guest that was in the room forgot their stuff and housekeeping did not see it in the drawers and the floor was sticky in the room.

Honestly, this place seemed understaffed. The front desk person was running both the desk and breakfast in the mornings, which means that when someone came by the desk, they’d have to ring the bell to call them over. I don’t know if this is the reason the staff seemed a bit burnt out or what, but they occasionally came across as tired rude. Not rude like inappropriate, but rude like they are tired. Next, on first glance, the room was fine, but then I noticed the cracks in the wall and ceiling in the bathroom. When I was taking a shower, I noticed that there was a dirty and used washcloth on the shower curtain, which was disturbing to come across as it shows that the room may not have been thoroughly cleaned. I suspect the cracking and caving ceiling were related to how much condensation formed from the steam of the shower. I don’t take particularly hot showers, but I still use the vent. However, I am concerned that the vent may not work given how much steam was still there. The parking lot was poorly maintained with trash all around, including a broken glass bottle. As for amenities, I was a little sad about the pool hours as I typically left the hotel prior to 9 am and returned after 9 pm, so I couldn’t use the pool. The breakfast options were disappointing—adequate, but disappointing. Especially given what it cost to stay here, it was not worth it, which is disappointing as I typically like the Wyndham locations. I will not be returning here and may not go to others.

Breakfast wasn’t anything so don’t plan on eating.

This was such a great stay. This hotel was so nice. The staff were so very friendly and took really good care of us. We will definitely be back for our next visit next year when we come visit our son again. Thank you to the entire staff. We appreciate the great service.

This hotel was awful and nothing like the photos! It was extremely dirty and run down. There was a terrible smell, mold in the bathroom, crumbs all over the floor, stains on every single wall. There were stains on the bedding. The shower curtain rod was falling and the walls were cracked. There were people who seemed to be living there slamming doors all night with loads of traffic coming in and out. We did not feel safe at all and checked out at 9:00pm and drove the four hours home rather than stay another night. The staff was friendly. Literally the only good thing I have to say.
