The pre check on and check in process was great , but some elements , like where to enter license plate number , was confusing. Also I made the purchase ahead of time of breakfast passes , but checked in on kiosk, so I never received the waivers and was double charged (and refunded) for the breakfast. Breakfast was decent. There was a waitress at dinner that was terrible, but the food was okay. I really like the wristband thing. I wish all the stuff could be on there instead of carrying around necklaces and waivers. The floors were a mess , but I heard them mention they’re getting new floors soon. All the extra stuff that they make look awesome is just okay. The laser tag room is like 5 minutes and it’s just that , a room. The arcades okay but expensive. The magi quest wands hardly work. The little kids just want the stuff to light up. I guess the puzzle thing could be cool for older kids. The staff was pretty good outside of that one waitress. Rooms were clean. Water park was a little smaller than I expected. The outside area was a missed opportunity there isn’t much out there. The life guards were amazing like coast guard military trained all over it.

Pool and slides were great. Hot tubs were lukewarm but clean. With a 4pm check-in, I'm not sure why the pool closes at 8pm, and then opens at 10am which gives you an hour before checkout. Why it's $20 to park, I'm unsure, since no other hotel in the area charges for parking. Buffet was just a step above a continental breakfast. Ran out of coffee, fountain drink machine needed maintenance & ice, and not a ton of kid friendly breakfast items (out of cereal & pancakes) and seemed pretty understaffed. All of the staff were so sweet! There was a kid who got sick and the staff gave him a free shirt and make sure he was ok, it was cleaned up in a timly manner as well. Everything is kind of on the pricy side though. Day pass is to expense for what it really includes. There are cheaper swimming areas. My kid was a little to young to do some of the stuff but we still had fun

Cons: Since you are paying a steep price already just to stay, and everything extra is so high, paying $15 a day to park at your hotel is extreme. The room was totally dated. The fridge only had freezer mode so everything froze. The imperfections on the walls and corners were not fixed, they just tried to cover it up. The floors around the hotel were uneven and would sink in when stepping on them. Ankle sprain for sure. The marketplace never had anyoneone working at it. We stood there for 15 mins and finally just scanned our stuff behind the Till and bought our stuff. Nobody could charge anything to the room with the wrist band which was supposed to be a perk. Pros: food was good. Waterpark was nice all around. They even monitored the adult only hottub. Kicked minors out. Arcade was descent. Employees were wonderful. Waterpark does close to early. We didnt get back from our daily events till 7:30 or 8:00 sometimes, and couldnt use the Waterpark. Arcade was open 24 hrs which was nice for the adult kids. You can hear running and jumping above you, but luckily we are not fun haters and so it didnt bother us.

The only complaint I have is that it is very expensive to buy anything at the lodge. The rooms are very nice, the indoor water park is very cool. Wish they stayed open later.

We went to Great Wolf Lodge as kind of a last minute getaway in the middle if the week. We did not have a heads up that the property was getting a new roof. The work went on from about 8 am to 9pm. Unfortunately my room faced where the work was going on. Our balcony was closed. We had forklifts and workers outside our window 13 hours a day. Exceptionally noisy. We heard every conversation and move the workers made. We could not relax in our room at all during the day. And my toddler was not able to sleep. He normally is in bed by 7 or 7:30 at the latest. But the banging and beeping continued outside our room until 9pm. He couldn't get to sleep with that. He was up until almost 11pm the first night. Which got us off to a bad start. The hotels response when I texted “willow” at 8pm. Was sorry. They should leave soon. We enjoyed the water park and other amenities. We had a couple of fun days. The construction debacle kind of overshadowed the good and just made everyone exhausted from the start. I should also add we found at least 3 nails in the parking lot from the ongoing roof construction. I would just expect more for the price we paid. We would have chosen to stay somewhere else if we had known about the construction.

We stopped at the great wolf lodge on the way home from our road trip to get the kids out of the car and moving. Overall we were not impressed and wouldn’t plan on staying there again. We had issues with billing because we booked through Expedia so we were over billed then refunded the over billed portion after questioning it. The water park was pretty gross with gunk floating in the water and on the pool deck. Our room was decent but it had a strong mildew smell, the pullout bed was broken, and you couldn’t take a hot shower since the water would go from hot to cold constantly.

Our children love coming here which is why we return. The rooms however were mostly clean but there was some sort of hair or fur in our bathtub and the dresser drawer fall as soon as ypu touch them.

Our stay was amazing because the cleanliness of the resort was amazing!! It exceeded all expectations. Definitely would come back and love the Kansas City Great Wolf Lodge.

The beds were hard and felt like those cheap 100 mattresses from Amazon. The room smelled like mold. Other than that it was a nice stay but the mold and the bed quality are important factors.

We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the pizza. Room was clean and comfortable and secure was good. We couldn’t get the internet on our tv to work and no one ever showed up to fix it. The pool was fun. This location is smaller than others I’ve been to. Now for the negative…the pool bathroom was pretty gross. Someone carried a leaky swim diaper to the bathroom trash and the poop left droplets all over. There was also smeared feces at the bathroom entrance. I was able to find a wet floor sign and place it over the smeared poop, hopefully preventing others from unknowingly walking in it and smearing it all over the resort. The good news is no one got sick.

Everything was great at the property except the condition of the room. The bathroom fan was broken and noisy, the tub did not drain properly, we all had to take showers standing in dirty water. The door to the bedroom did not close. The pull out couch bed was terrible, worst ever. However, the kids had a blast, the water park was amazing, and staff were all cheerful and friendly. Would definitely return, and the issues with my suite can be easily remedied.

Property staff were very accommodating. TV Netflix did not work and they offered a discounted rate for our trouble. They were responsive to needing extra blankets and a 30 minute late checkout due to kids looking for lost items. Great watermark- not hectic. Family and kid activities performed daily and at night in Jammie’s. Very fun!

We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend the pizza. Room was clean and comfortable and secure was good. We couldn’t get the internet on our tv to work and no one ever showed up to fix it. The pool was fun. This location is smaller than others I’ve been to. Now for the negative…the pool bathroom was pretty gross. Someone carried a leaky swim diaper to the bathroom trash and the poop left droplets all over. There was also smeared feces at the bathroom entrance. I was able to find a wet floor sign and place it over the smeared poop, hopefully preventing others from unknowingly walking in it and smearing it all over the resort. The good news is no one got sick.

The facility looks great from the exterior, but the room had a strong smell of mildew. To the point that I was concerned about air quality. The pull out couch was 5 years past needing to be replaced. I had to sleep facing the wrong direction to keep my head higher than my feet. The kids loved the cabin sleeping area and the room was plenty big. We struggled to sleep due to noise from the floor above and the front desk staff was able to quiet them down which was great. We paid for 2 nights but left before the final night after the second false fire alarm went off in the building. All of the staff interactions were great. The ownership of the facility has squeezed too much out of the fixtures and finishes leaving the overall experience below expectations for the price paid. Will choose a different spot until there are major interior renovations.

We enjoyed our stay overall! The only downfalls, which were minor..but enforcing the quiet time...after 11pm guests above us continually banged and jumped until about 12a.m. Then were up early at 7am doing the same thing. Can't do much about that...it is a place filled with kids!

The pre check on and check in process was great , but some elements , like where to enter license plate number , was confusing. Also I made the purchase ahead of time of breakfast passes , but checked in on kiosk, so I never received the waivers and was double charged (and refunded) for the breakfast. Breakfast was decent. There was a waitress at dinner that was terrible, but the food was okay. I really like the wristband thing. I wish all the stuff could be on there instead of carrying around necklaces and waivers. The floors were a mess , but I heard them mention they’re getting new floors soon. All the extra stuff that they make look awesome is just okay. The laser tag room is like 5 minutes and it’s just that , a room. The arcades okay but expensive. The magi quest wands hardly work. The little kids just want the stuff to light up. I guess the puzzle thing could be cool for older kids. The staff was pretty good outside of that one waitress. Rooms were clean. Water park was a little smaller than I expected. It was disappointing in the end. Check-out time was 11 a.m. One of the housekeeping people came to the room by 10 a.m. and asked us to leave quickly. I thought he came for housekeeping, but he came to tell us to hurry to leave. That was very inappropriate.

Cons: Since you are paying a steep price already just to stay, and everything extra is so high, paying $15 a day to park at your hotel is extreme. The room was totally dated. The fridge only had freezer mode so everything froze. The imperfections on the walls and corners were not fixed, they just tried to cover it up. The floors around the hotel were uneven and would sink in when stepping on them. Ankle sprain for sure. The marketplace never had anyoneone working at it. We stood there for 15 mins and finally just scanned our stuff behind the Till and bought our stuff. Nobody could charge anything to the room with the wrist band which was supposed to be a perk. Pros: food was good. Waterpark was nice all around. They even monitored the adult only hottub. Kicked minors out. Arcade was descent. Employees were wonderful. Waterpark does close to early. We didnt get back from our daily events till 7:30 or 8:00 sometimes, and couldnt use the Waterpark. Arcade was open 24 hrs which was nice for the adult kids. You can hear running and jumping above you, but luckily we are not fun haters and so it didnt bother us.

Took my son for an overnight trip and we had a very nice time. Checking in went fairly well, considering how busy it was and the staff was able to get everyone in smoothly and quickly. My room wasn't ready at check in time, but I was treated to a free large pizza and a 2 liter of soda in compensation for the wait. My son and I did the Pup Pass for 35.00 extra which included a free 5.00 voucher to the arcade, a scoop of ice cream (and they are VERY generous with that scoop), a cup of candy from the candy shop and also a free stuffed animal from Build-a-Bear that my son got to make himself. All the staff have been great, but the ladies who worked in the Build a Bear shop really stood out because were so nice and patient with my son. He is autistic and loud noises really bother him, so instead of having him use the stuffing machine (which is pretty loud), they gave him one that was on the shelf. The only con would be that the drink machine was completely out of drinks. The room was nice and clean and the hotel itself was nice and cool as well. We will definitely be back ☺️

We took our grandkids to Great Wolf Lodge and had a great time. Unfortunately, we were charged for parking even though we didn't have a vehicle. We were also charged for towels even though we returned them, and checked them in with the attendant (which involves tapping your wristband).

Overall, the experience was good. It’s located in a nice area surrounded by good restaurants and shopping. The room was adequately clean, and the staff was for the most part helpful. We did, however, have a loud group above us, and the staff was not helpful with that. After calling the front desk to ask them to talk to the room above, nothing changed for 45 mins. I then called the room and the lady was kind and said she would ask her children to stop jumping off the beds. Also, some of the things in the room needed repair. The sliding door did not lock (thankfully we were on the third floor). Overall, this was a good experience.

My niece had a blast and that is what I am trying to keep my focus on cause there were so many unfortunate situations that made the experience less. Some of the staff was rude, especially in the coffee shop. Then we rent a cabana for $200 for the day expecting to be able to let my niece relax and not having to get up to go get drinks and food. Not the case. Not enough staffing so we have to wait in lines to get food. Then go to the pool bar only to find out we cant get anything except beer cause someone over 21 is not available. Then try to get a non alcoholic slush for my niece and still unable to get it. Go upstairs to the bar and their blender is broke. The frustration came because all occurrences happen within a 15 minute period. And the bracelet they give you so you don’t have to carry cash or card, well that never worked no matter how many times I told them. The water park itself was a blast. The building needs some updates. Putt putt golf was fun but it was so run down and truly just an awful course.

Pool and slides were great. Hot tubs were lukewarm but clean. With a 4pm check-in, I'm not sure why the pool closes at 8pm, and then opens at 10am which gives you an hour before checkout. Why it's $20 to park, I'm unsure, since no other hotel in the area charges for parking. Buffet was just a step above a continental breakfast. Ran out of coffee, fountain drink machine needed maintenance & ice, and not a ton of kid friendly breakfast items (out of cereal & pancakes) and seemed pretty understaffed. First of all, the chocolate machine and the toaster are not working, actually the chocolate machine is working, but the chocolate milk is sour! And there is lots of sticky water on the side of my spot and nobody is cleaning it. There is also syrup on my chair, and nobody comes to clean. Here is a lot of kids, that's so dangerous! Water park was great and kids loved it. Tried to order a pizza and waited over and hour before being told it was not yet started. Was told it would take 20 minutes. By that time the downstairs grill was closed and kids were bathed and in pajamas and didn’t wanted to pay for the buffet. The only thing that kept ma from giving a “1”was a nice young man got some food for us. Wasn’t great but it fed the kids. We would give it another try but would make different food arrangements. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Didn't like that I had to pay for parking even as a guest at the hotel....where else would we park. everything else was great. Kids loved the waterpark

This place is overpriced for a toilet not to work and being unable to reach anyone on the phone for assistance. Save your money and stay in hotel close by and just pay to get in the water park. You’ll save yourself $100’s of dollars as this felt like a big rip off.
