We have just returned from the most amazing week at this hotel. We had Room 401 which has a private hot-tub and amazing rooftop terrace overlooking the sea and with a view of Mount Etna in the distance. The hotel staff are all lovely and made our stay very magical. We would especially like to thank Denise on the front desk and Sarah, Carla and Munda for the service at breakfast. There are probably others but these are the names we remembered. The hotel is fantastic as is Ortegia. We would love to return one day.

Quiet location within walking distance of everything. Extremely hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The valet parking was great as we used this hotel as a base for exploring up and down the coast (Noto, beaches , Ragusa, Marzamemi etc)Breakfast is exceptional, and the hotel dinner is very, very good. There are numerous bars aperitif and restaurant options all within minutes by walking. We so enjoyed our time here and will return.

The hotel is stunning! Location is great and the staff are extremely helpful! Such a beautiful room but not very kid friendly, only reason being that there are stairs to go up to your room, then immediately stairs going down to get into your room, then another small set going to the primary living space. Was a task with a one year old and stroller unfortunately! Besides that, would highly recommend! Parking was on the pricy side and a bit inconvenient considering they close at 11pm. Breakfast, far superior than most places!

Wonderful property with great staff. Will definitely stay again! Rooms were wonderful. Great location as well. Only negative was the valet parking, they smashed the right front of the rent a car. Do not use! Parking garage is close to hotel, drop off luggage and self park.

We really enjoyed this property. The buildings are ancient, but completely renovated and clean. Bathrooms are new, beds are comfortable with good linens. Breakfasts are excellent with many choices.

This hotel is exceptional in every way. It is absolutely gorgeous- inside & out. The location is ideal- right on the water and close to everything, as well as very safe. The ceilings, the canopy bed, the tiles in the bathroom, the flooring, the stairwell- everything was beautiful and it is the absolute cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was great, with fill-your-own cannoli, pastries, yogurt and more. I hope I can return to beautiful Siracusa and I will definitely be staying here.

We stayed in room 362, a superior double. It was beautiful, very clean and spacious and the elegant bathroom had two doors - his and hers! The hotel was really quiet at night and we didn't hear a sound of any other guests. The public areas are impressive, a beautiful airy, cool lounge, with free tea and coffee in the afternoons. As other guests have said, the breakfast is excellent with a full menu of hot dishes plus the buffet, and, unlike so many hotels, there is always a table available for breakfast. Altogether, just about the best hotel I have ever stayed in - although also the most expensive!

The staff are also amizng and helped us book transportation and arranged a beach club day. This location is also close to all shopping and great dinning. The included breakfast was also great.

Wonderful property and one of our favourites this past trip! The hotel has been impeccably renovated and is full of stunning, interesting architecture while still being comfortable and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent and the suite had plenty of space. Easily walkable to everywhere, including swimming right across the street!

Hotel was very clean and upgraded with some wonderful artefacts/ art on display. Breakfasts were delightful and efficient. Hotel was reasonably central to see the local points of interest. Valet parking worked efficiently, although hotel did not send this detail upon email request. Would stay again. Air conditioning did not work in the room and was informed that it could not be switched on until May; only downside.

The Ortigia Charme Hotel is a well located hotel on the eastern coast of Ortigia island. Being situated at almost the mid point of the island it is perfectly situated for a leisurely exploration of the area. It looks like a small hotel from the outside but I think it has rooms in adjacent buildings. The staff are very friendly and cheerful at all times of the day. The breakfast is excellent with no problem ordering items not specifically listed on the menu. My only quibble is that the solid floors transmit noise from the room above.

The location is great and the rooms are very spacious and nice. Be careful if you book a balcony as they are not all the same and not as pictured. If you can get a sea view balcony and get it in writing. The staff is fine but not overly friendly but maybe that’s cultural?

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel from start to finish. I was traveling with my wife, 2 children (ages 8 and 10), and my wife’s parents. Catania airport lost our luggage but the wonderful staff relentlessly called and tracked down our luggage and had it delivered to us at the hotel. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered every comfort I needed for a relaxing stay. The suite is perfect for a family of 4. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hotel was very charming. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and transport, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Exceptional hotel, ideally situated in Ortigia. Nice quiet spot but easily walkable distance through enchanting streets to wonderful eateries and historic sites. The staff are wonderful, going above and beyond to assist guests, organising drivers / day trips / restaurant reservations etc. Breakfast was super, a generous selection to meet all diets (including vegan pastries). The serving staff and housekeeping team were faultless. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was spotless every day when we returned from outings. All in all this is a fantastic hotel and we cannot praise it enough.

We didn't care for our first room although many people likely would have loved it. It was just different than what we booked/expected. They moved us to a different room immediately and were very nice about it. The breakfast buffet is included and is delicious. Ortigia is a walking town and is wonderful to visit. This hotel is in a great location.

We loved this hotel -- the location is perfect and the staff couldn't be more helpful and lovely. The AC is strong and the facilities are well maintained. Siracusa has been the highlight of our 10 days in Sicily so far and Algilà Ortigia was a great place to visit. Staff was friendly and several went out of their way to be helpful. We are good walkers and could walk to all parts of Ortigia, the island you want to stay on, and be there within 15 minutes. We had a junior suite that was large with several separate areas. Full service breakfast was good, not great. Bed was very big but not the most comfortable Despite these minor things, all four of us loved the hotel and location

Beste Lage zur Erkundung von Ortigia, und 30 min zur Fuß zum Parco Archelogico Neaopolis. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Wasser und von einer Mauer aus hat man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf den Sonnenaufgang ubd den Etna auf der anderen Seite. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet. Das Valet Parking ist etwas teuer, aber in Ortigia lässt sich das Auto sonst nicht abstellen

Je donne une mention toute particulière au petit déjeuner qui était extraordinaire : des produits frais et de qualité, des saveurs extraordinaires et une attention portée aux détails qui ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Voyageant avec un enfant de 18 mois, nous avons apprécié le lit bébé installé dans la chambre, la chaise haute et les couverts adaptés pour le petit déjeuner. Nous nous sommes arrêtés au cours d’un road trip pour 1 nuit… nous sommes finalement restés 3 nuits ! A noter : mini bar offert - un parking avec voiturier est proposé pour 30€/jour.
