It was good for my purpose … close to the airport and had a shuttle. Excellent staff.

A short distance from the freeway, the airport and Cosco gas. Great breakfast. We used the available laundry. Mini-refrigerator has no freezer and no luggage rack. Worked well for the last night before flying out early next day. They provide transportation to the airport if asked. (We didn't use that service.)

This was a good place for me and my family to stay. Breakfast options were better than most places we've stayed. Only suggestion… heat the pool a little, it’s very cold.

Great location right off the interstate and walking distance from the mall. Great staff, kind and helpful. The pool is a bit small. Clean over all great experience.

Comfortable and affordable room. Was just what we needed- near airport, shops and easy to get around. Nice that there was a pool, but there was so much chlorine that even the air stung our eyes and my daughter’s eyes hurt for hours after swimming. Decent selections at breakfast.

Best part of the stay was the free parking and EV charger on site,

Pros: super friendly staff, amazing breakfast bedroom area very clean, good wifi Cons: black mold in the bathroom, no where to put toiletries in shower, refillable shampoo and body wash but in bottles- meaning anyone could put anything in them.

Sheets were dirty.

We checked in Friday afternoon, and then took our two children out to a late lunch/dinner. We came back to our room to relax, and were beginning to notice ants appearing one after another in between the two queen sized beds. Upon further investigation, I moved the nightstand and there was a pile of half-eaten cherry pits in a mound of dust. I looked even further, and behind both beds were crumbs, hair ties, earring backs, combs, individual scattered pieces of animal hair and human hair. Ants were on the beds and I believe I spotted lice. Behind the beds haven’t been dusted and are chalked full of it. The room was clearly not thoroughly cleaned, and hadn’t been in some time based on the amount of ants. My wife and I watched them bringing crumbs under a tiny gap in the wall. There’s a bigger infestation that goes farther than the room we were in. My wife let the front desk know about the infestation, and they told her that the housekeeping would come take a look, and to pack our bags. When asked if we’d be getting our room switched, she said she wasn’t sure and seemed a bit annoyed. We waited just about 45 minutes for the housekeeping to come and they didn’t, the ants were crawling on our belongings, and we had plans with our children, so my wife went back to the front desk, explained once again and asked for a new room. The woman rolled her eyes and said “take these new cards” and that was it. We were switched to a room upstairs, and it appeared to have actually been cleaned.

The room was very clean. I like the fact that the floor was not carpeted. The bathroom looked brand new.

Very impressed with quality, cleanliness and amenities present in the room and on premises.

Shortly after settling in, I noticed ants around the bedside area and near the bathroom—certainly not the experience I had anticipated. The room overall appeared to have been insufficiently cleaned prior to my stay, with noticeable shaved hair on the sink, chocolate on the floor, stains on the sheets, bugs in the bed, debris, and general lack of tidiness.

I actually have not been to a dirtier hotel (and I don't usually stay at fancy hotels) and was very surprised because the reviews made it seem clean. We got to our room and there was a pair of soiled underwear in the bathroom. They switched our room and the new room had bugs and stains in the sheets. They gave us new sheets, but it's very hard to trust the cleanliness when they went 0-2 on the rooms. I'm not sure where all the clean reviews came from but there is a sign in the front desk which says they are no longer owned by days inn and I assume this change is why previous reviews seemed to indicate something very different than what we were met with. All in all best to avoid this hotel.

Clean and well staffed. Recently upgraded. Bathroom was cramped, door didn't shut, and it had the loudest exhaust fan I have ever heard.

The room was surprisingly really nice. I think it was recently renovated. They had s decent continental breakfast. My only issue is they allow dogs and dogs bark if they are alone. I wish they would separate the dog owners from the rest of the people so they can keep each other up with their barking. Otherwise i would have given this hotel 5 stara.

The noise from turning on the bed is so annoying

it’s a spring mattress so it is loud whenever you move around, and walls are thin. you can hear whenever someone is running in the hallway or if your neighbors are talking

We requested a quiet room. We were placed right by the staircase and could hear every sound. People shouting in the corridors. We did not sleep. Walls were paper thin. Worst night ever. Will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Looked a bit run down but that was contributed by the empty restaurant in parking lot and mall in sad shape across the way. Noisy a/c and people coming in and out all night

Recent upgrades to this hotel made for a great stay.

It was hard to sleep. You can hear lots of activity in the middle of the night/early morning from doors opening/slamming, ice machines, and people talking. I'll bring ear plugs next time, since walls and doors seem to be thin. Other than that, there was nothing special that stood out. It was just fine, not bad

When we arrived, the desk staff was friendly. The room was sufficient and what I expected for a hotel at this price point. Our stay went badly from there. When we returned later in the night to go to bed, we realized our room was located near one of the entrance/exit doors. Every time someone entered or left, it was extremely loud, and the bed actually shook from the door slamming. We were up most of the night as a result. At around 5:00 am, when there was repeated traffic, we were forced to get up and check out by 6 am. We brought the issue to the front desk staff and they said we would have to talk to management. The reaction from the staff gave me the impression that this was not the first time they had heard the same complaint. We were told the manager would contact us. Several days went by with no call. I contacted the hotel again and was informed that the manager was not in, but I could leave a message. A voicemail was left, and weeks later still no return call. I will not stay at this hotel again in the future. Management was given ample time to respond and clearly doesn't care about their guest.

Our stay was great! You get what you pay for. It’s not the highest quality facilities but it’s perfect if you’re looking for a budget friendly stay. The staff were extremely nice and the breakfast was good! It’s a ten min drive from Old Port so location was good. We would stay again!

The desk staff were pleasant enough. But when I went downstairs in the morning to ask for a shuttle to the airport, he asked if I had made a reservation, as it only came every 30 or 60 minutes--can't recall which. He then called the shuttle to see if he could come and pick us up--which he did--but the staffer told the driver that we "didn't schedule their shuttle," even though the little sign that says to do this is very small and behind the counter. But you don't make it the customer's fault. That's bad customer service. And when the shuttle driver arrived, he sped off to the airport about 30 miles an hour above the speed limit. It was crazy. One other unpleasant experience--the breakfast staff were rude and surly and looked like they'd rather be doing anything else. Other than all of this, the hotel was decent enough. We slept well. I'm grateful we had this place to land.

Hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and highway. The area is safe and about 15 minutes away from downtown Portland. Room was clean and comfortable. Not sure about the amenities, I stayed overnight and didn’t have the breakfast or use the pool.

Close to Thompson Point! Easy to Uber! Clean and comfortable.

For the price it wasn't bad. Conveniently located near the airport and near restaurants. The rooms were upgraded. It did take a long time to check in which seemed unnecessary when its already paid for and you need to just prove who you are and get your key. Other than that it was pleasant. We happened to get there during the blooming of the lilac bushes around the property, which smelled heavenly. Please don't ever get rid of those. They smell amazing!

This property is less than 10 minutes from the airport and across the street from the Maine Mall--very convenient.

Location was ideal and convenient being near a mall and restaurants.Continental breakfast was a good bonus. Quick access to the highway.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was a bit small, especially the bathroom, but comfortable enough for 2 people. I would have liked a chair besides the desk chair but that was really the only thing I was missing. The bed was very comfortable, in fact one of the best hotel mattresses I've slept on. It was very convenient to the highway. The staff we interacted with were all pleasant and helpful. The area was quiet, despite being right by the highway, though we could hear people in the hallway. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options from waffles (even on weekdays), eggs and a meat option, hot and ready oatmeal, breads, yogurt and cereals. I would have appreciated some lower sugar options for yogurt, but there were a few different flavors. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The whole hotel was clean, i like the free continental breakfast that was offered and D'andria from the front desk was very informative.

The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The Continental breakfast was actually very good.

Our bed was creaking soooo loudly. Kept us up all night. I have fabulous video and sound to share. Bathroom door would NOT close unless slammed with all of one's might. Then you have you yank open. Again, keeping the other person up if going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Once again I have fabulous video and photos. Top of pump for the shampoo or soap was completely missing. How in the world did the cleaning staff not notice this. Breakfast: pitiful. Showed up at 9am. Barely anything available. My wife asked the staff or peanut butter and got the reply, "we had some earlier". That is it. Who talks like that and why isn't he getting her peanut butter? I travel extensively and this was horrible. I received a text message from Expedia asking about our stay. Obviously a Bot text. But I replied with issues. Isn't that the point? So why didn't anyone contact me afterward? Please send me a full refund and an apology. We visited Portland, Maine for the first time and our stay was certainly memorable but for the wrong reasons.
