Best Western Boerne Inn & Suites

On arrival we were told that none of the elevators work. Had to use stairs to carry all luggage to and from the room. At 6 am in the morning a false fire alarm went off and my kids and I had to leave the hotel and wait outside for 45 minutes. Once again using the stairs to and from the room. No retribution was offered for any of the inconveniences. I would not stay here again.

It was a good place to stay, the elevator was not working but everything else was good

Pool was dirty the ladder to the Pool was broken. People were smoking their dope at the pool and nobody cares.

Room was not clean and the EV charge didn’t work

Nice hotel but the only issue was the elevator was not working. We were on the 3rd floor.

The elevator was broken and we were not made aware prior. The front desk lady said that it had already been broken for 2 months. They also put us on the 3rd floor and only mentioned that the elevator was broken as we were heading to the elevator. I asked her why if the elevator is broken she gave us the 3rd floor and didn’t say anything her response was that there was a sign on the doors. Unreal like people read those paper signs on doors. She could have just said something about it as she was asking if the 3rd floor was okay- if there is a working elevator no issue. This place also had an extremely musty smell in the hallway and stairwell. The room was also a little funky smelling, there were multiple pieces of furniture that had rips, the pillows were miniature sized, and the bathroom floor had missing grout in between the tiles and some of the tiles moved when you stepped on them. I would never stay here again.

This hotel is a bit older, the first room we were given smelled like mold and after checking the room we found mold growing on the air conditioning unit and on the backside of the curtains. We requested a different room and thankfully they were able to move us to a different floor and a non smelling, mold free room. The rest of our stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast offered was good, they have coffee & juice all day, and it’s a very convenient location for our purposes in Boerne! The pool looked great but it was closed for the 5 days we stayed here.

It was clean, but the room did have a weird smell to it. We only stayed one night as a stopping point on our roadtrip.

Third floor smelled stale, stained carpet in hallway, but on the positive side we got to check in early

Curtains in the room had mold on them on the bottom.

Good travel hotel for Best Western. Could be a Best Western Plus with a bit of polish and remodeling. Cleaning could use more attention to detail. Our bathroom had a large patch (over one foot square) of mildew above the shower on the ceiling. Otherwise, bed was comfortable, and hotel was good for a quick overnight stay.

Both of my rooms were full of mold. One room was so bad we had to change and the new one was not much better. This was a horrible experience.

Receptionist was helpful and accommodating however the carpet in the room was stained and not very clean. AC unit made a rattling noise all night.

Entire hotel smelled of smoke, room smelled so bad of smoke we could not stay. No other rooms available. Checked out 15 min after arrival.

Property was nice, except the curtains were covered in mold! That ruined it for me!

Bathroom doors did not lock and barely closed. Doors to the rooms had huge gaps at the door frame you can see through. Our family stayed in 4 different rooms and all of them had these issues. Front desk was not rude - because they were almost never there. When they were it was more like they were being inconvenienced by us.

Room seemed a little dark in areas where lighting was insufficient

It was a nice hotel, the beds were comfortable, but definitely definitely needs updated.

Room was super hot at check in, felt like the air had been off for a week. Took 5 hours to cool room to a comfortable temperature!

I had a problem with the air conditioner in my room, it would only run for 15 minutes at a time when I set it on high fan / cool to 61 degrees, which is what I consider to be comfortable while sleeping. It never went above 76 degrees in the room. Also, the breakfast buffet in their dining room lost electricity all on one side in the middle of breakfast, which cut out nearly all the service machines, like coffee/juice dispensers, waffle makers, etc. They didn't fix it until breakfast service was over, leaving a lot of disappointed customers. Including me. I wanted a second helping of juice and some coffee. My wife had to settle with coffee brewed from the microbrewer in our room. The room itself was neat and clean, they had nice soaps and towels, a closet, a great shower with unlimited hot water and a spacious bathroom....but it was still kinda ruined by the fact that the air conditioner didn't want to obey commands. I slept fitfully and wasn't well rested the next morning. Maybe I should have complained and requested another room, but I just didn't want to have to move all our stuff to a different one when I was only staying one night.

The beds were hard as a rock. My wife and I both woke up in terrible pain. I will never stay here again.

The stay was fine. The property was a bit dated.

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The down side was there was only one person working desk and check in to a long time.

We usually never have a hard time when staying at this hotel. But This weekend was the complete opposite. The elevator was out of order the whole weekend we were there. No one informed us before hand, no discount was given nor not one apology about it. It's was at our will to "figure it out". Not to mention, we had a 5K event for a family member so it would have been nice! The lady working the front desk Friday night was unresponsive. We needed the sheets for the pull out sofa bed and it took about 30 tries to get a hold of them. Calling on both the hotel phone and our personal phone. Saturday, the older gentleman working the front desk seemed pleasant until it was our turn to speak to him. His tone definitely changed when he saw us. Not to stir the racial pot but he was rude and offish when we spoke to him but was just fine to the family before us and the family after us. *both Caucasian families." The question was simply, had any other rooms become available on the first floor since checkout, and if so, was there a chance to switch rooms. Didn't look at the computer to check or anything. Just looked at us in a distasteful manner and said, "hotel is sold out, there ain't nothing I can do for you." Saturday evening. We needed a blanket for our sofa bed, so we called down to the front desk and kindly asked if they could bring one up to our room when we had a chance. Convenient place to stay when in the San Antonio area or passing through like we were.

Great location and short drive to beautiful Main Street fir dining and shopping.

Nice stay. Hotel is off of the highway but didn’t here highway noise. Would stay there again.

The location of the property was convenient for ingress and egress to I-10. It was a central location for us with our sightseeing and visiting family.

Excellent area, easy to get to, right on I-10

We chose this hotel because we have family that lives here. But it's wonderful hotel if you plan on going in and out of San Antonio. Easy to get on to the interstate, and get into the city. There's a lot of great places to eat in Boerne, downtown is beautiful. Beds were comfortable, hallways were quiet, could have used a little bit more variation in the breakfast if you're staying for a while.

This was a very nice hotel! I don't understand the negative reviews and how this hotel could get the same ratings as the one I stayed the night before, which (that previous one) was 100 times worse than this one. Room looked practically new, very spacious, quiet, high ceilings, nice king bed, great AC, nice couch in the room, too, no smell from carpet whatsoever - I am very sensitive to that, but there was zero smell. Breakfast was above and beyond - they even had cooked oatmeal ready for you, yogurt machine, fancy organic green tea, plenty of protein choices, dry fruit toppings, plus all the standard ingredients. The pool was sparkling clean, and the stay in general was very comfortable. No negatives, unless you really look for some minor wear and tear. Service was very friendly, too. Convenient location. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was not stocked. 7:45 AM and the eggs and yogurt were gone and never replaced. Manager was rude about it

Property and rooms very clean. Staff was courteous and efficient. Breakfast was excellent.

The mothball smell upon entering was overwhelming. The rooms do not seem to have any soundproofing. I was there for a week and every single time I went out for breakfast no natter the time, there was nothing. I had to ask for breakfast which seemed to be made in tiney batches. Not a good look for this hotel chain.
