Simply the nicest, friendliest hotel I can recall staying at. Staff were all warm and helpful. The hotel uses a number of grand old buildings along what I assume used to be a main route into Norwich. The car oarking was tight but ok; finding three EV charge points with a reasonable 45p/kWh charge was a bonus. My room was light and airy, spotlessly clean. The hot water was instant and the bathroom was well finished. The breakfasts were well cooked and served up pretty quickly despite the dining room being busy. It was a short walk to the city centre, along a main road with regular bus services. I have no definite plans to revisit Norwich, but may do so just to stay again at this lovely hotel.

The hotel is perfectly placed to walk into the centre or to drive out to other areas. Easy to find and a lovely warm welcome. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. No evening meals though they do bar snacks. Average prices on drinks. And if you want a meal without walking into the centre turn left as you come out of the car park and walk 100 yards down the road. On the right is a pub called the Eagle. Not pub grub but very nice food.

We really enjoyed our stay and were welcomed by Emily who was brilliant. She was very courteous, helpful and happy on reception and when serving in the Restaurant. The service from the young girl in the Restaurant was also excellent. The evening meal we had was very good and the choice was varied. Breakfast was great also. The location was great as it is only a 15 minute and nice walk into town and the churches and Cathedral.

Another lovely stay at the Annesley Hotel. Parking is easy, the hotel is very clean, staff are pleasant, breakfast was excellent, good quality food and very reasonable prices. Just a ten minute stroll into town. We could not fault it!

Lovely hotel and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Phoned ahead at 830pm to order dinner as I was arriving at 845pm and website said restaurant stopped serving at 9pm but was told restaurant had stopped serving already. This was my only gripe.

Great one night stay. Good location with parking,15 mins walk to centre but also on bus route with close by stops. Nice clean room and comfortable bed. Good lounge/ bar area. V good full breakfast. All staff v friendly and welcoming. Barry was particularly helpful in forwarding on some items we’d left in our room - at minimal cost. Certainly stay again.

What can I say room clean, convenient location to the centre of Norwich. Food also good value for money but unfortunately was woken up at 6 o’clock. Due to a water leak coming from room 17, which is above room 10 mentioned to reception at 6:30 and They were aware of the leak from room 17, which they thought was fixed but it wasn’t. I have given them him five stars because they completely refunded the room. Happy to stay there in the future. 👍

The Annesley was a very nice, clean and well kept hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were lots of different indoor and outdoor areas to sit in and relax. General decor was lovely and it looked as though they had put a lot of effort into making the place look nice and presentable.The price of our 3 night stay was very reasonable. I didnt like the fact that the hotel did not offer air conditioning (but did have a fan available in the room) or a small fridge for keeping drinks cold. Yes we would definately visit this venue again.

Consistantly a good place to stay. Staff friendly but more obviously under pressure this trip due to staff shortages. Room not serviced but we didn`t flag it up as had been out all day.Breakfast was good but evening meal overcooked.Room very comfortable & quiet. However we will stay again as all is usually superb - just a bit below par on this trip.

Very welcoming & helpful team especially Matthew - thank you. Comfortable room that was very clean. Lovely restaurant & food. As it is a character older property soundproofing levels meant some noise from other guests was noticeable.

I had a lovely stay, the room was really nice and the staff was lovely. It was very hot at night, tho, and I felt a little worried sleeping with the window open (ground floor), but everything was fine and I would totally come back.

Loved this character hotel just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Plenty of parking, easy check in and excellent service throughout. Comfortable sizeable room and great TV with Netflix etc. Great night's sleep then a delicious breakfast. Would definitely return 👍

I stay there when i visit Norwich. Staff are class acts all around. Woke up the staff at 3am when I was leaving for the airport. I’d left my phone in the room. They couldn’t have been more gracious.

Lovely clean, cosy hotel close to the town centre. Amazing staff and very enjoyable stay. Special thanks to Matthew who was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with him in the bar and he quickly resolved a minor issue we had with our bath.

The very last time I stay Best Western! How this place has such a high rating I can’t understand. From a poor check in to ordering a sandwich service was dismal! The room was like something out of an 80’s sitcom and very tired

Great location for walking into Norwich city centre : plenty of parking : electric car charging available : cheerful welcome : comfortable bed, clean and quiet room, breakfast was good. Accommodation was value for money. Room was up a narrow set of stairs, there was also steps from room to en suite, no a problem for us but could if mobility is an issue. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is perfectly placed to walk into the centre or to drive out to other areas. Easy to find and a lovely warm welcome. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. No evening meals though they do bar snacks. Average prices on drinks. And if you want a meal without walking into the centre turn left as you come out of the car park and walk 100 yards down the road. On the right is a pub called the Eagle. Not pub grub but very nice food.

Loved this character hotel just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Plenty of parking, easy check in and excellent service throughout. Comfortable sizeable room and great TV with Netflix etc. Great night's sleep then a delicious breakfast. Would definitely return 👍

Another lovely stay at the Annesley Hotel. Parking is easy, the hotel is very clean, staff are pleasant, breakfast was excellent, good quality food and very reasonable prices. Just a ten minute stroll into town. We could not fault it!

Consistantly a good place to stay. Staff friendly but more obviously under pressure this trip due to staff shortages. Room not serviced but we didn`t flag it up as had been out all day.Breakfast was good but evening meal overcooked.Room very comfortable & quiet. However we will stay again as all is usually superb - just a bit below par on this trip.

We really enjoyed our stay and were welcomed by Emily who was brilliant. She was very courteous, helpful and happy on reception and when serving in the Restaurant. The service from the young girl in the Restaurant was also excellent. The evening meal we had was very good and the choice was varied. Breakfast was great also. The location was great as it is only a 15 minute and nice walk into town and the churches and Cathedral.

Lovely hotel and restaurant with attentive and friendly staff. Phoned ahead at 830pm to order dinner as I was arriving at 845pm and website said restaurant stopped serving at 9pm but was told restaurant had stopped serving already. This was my only gripe.

For a stay over to see family for dinner. Great parking and so close to city centre - about 10min easy walk. Friendly staff. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Basic but more than nice enough and I didn't pay big money to warrant any luxuries anyway! I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. I'd return.
