Nice, aging hotel. The onsite food was good. The only big knock are the pillows, probably the worst on the planet. Either bring your own or go to Kohls and buy one.

Excellent customer service and politeness. Expert service, and we loved the amenities that was provided. For example, the pool and spa. As well as the weight room. I'd like to thank Dominic at the front desk for his excellent and expert service. As well as his friendliness. Above and beyond. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!! We always stay this Marriot Residence hotel because of the indoor pool. Our grandchildren, who live in Carson City, can use the pool no matter what time of year we come to visit them. The pool temperature, probably around 85, is perfect.

Room was well laid out with all the amenities. Great shower spray. Mattress was ok, bit hard but not cheap hard. No one at the cafe/bar area either night so I failed to obtain anything. Did beg a cookie off the front desk once.

Just disappointed for the price this Marriot did not have a working hot tub, pool was cold, no complimentary coffee, breakfast had to be ordered and paid for and was only until 9am. no maid service unless requested, had to exchange used towels at front desk. Ice machine on 1st floor broken. I do have to say all employees for very nice and helpful .

nice clean rooms, couches a little uncomfortable, front desk no one there upon initial check in, also no coffee in the morning, in common area, ia the shower water temp control faucet handle was old n wornout had to fiddle with handle to get right water temp.

I stayed in this hotel years ago when visiting my mom. I remember it being very nice. Sadly, the rooms are no longer like they used to be. I have stayed here twice this month because my mom in the hospital. My first room smelled stale and moldy. the furniture was stained. I have pictures. The second stay the furniture was not stained but both mine and my sister's room have that horrible mostly smell. We realized the bathrooms do not have fans. There are open vents but no active suction. It seems the rooms have just been allowed to get damp and musty. you can see ceiling painting and repair and bubbling from moisture. Beds are super mediocre, cheap sheets and pillows But clean. The lobby is very nice and clean and a pleasant place to hang out and work which keeps the place from getting one star. I informed the front desk of the issues. I was told that the hotel was getting remodeled. It's a shame. Will most likely get an airbnb next time. This used to be the nicest hotel in Carson City.

I booked my reservation through EXPEDIA. When I arrived, the desk clerk had no reservation listed :(. I had my confirmation receipt, so that was solved. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner :( Not what I expected from Marriott. :(

This place is gross. They definitely spent time to upgrade the lobby so it looks modern and like a courtyard but the rooms are nasty. Everything is old and worn down. For $300/nite - they can do better. I stayed here once before a couple years ago when there was a fire in Auburn. And the ventilation is so bad that the entire hotel was smoky. The choices in Carson City are very limited. But this courtyard is incredibly overpriced for what you get. My 10-year-old wouldn’t even take a shower because he was grossed out by the looks of the shower stall. We had brought our own blankets with us, which I’m so grateful for because there was no way in hell I was getting between those covers.

Everything was excellent, except the sheets did not look like they had been washed and replaced from the previous guests. That, or they just weren't washed well enough. Not sure, but eww. But I honestly think that's probably a somewhat regular thing at some hotels, or at least a regular error that gets made. I would probably go back.

The couch in my room had a large stain on it. That wasn’t appreciated. Also the last time I was at a Marriott location they had complimentary coffee and continental breakfast ( muffins, bananas). Other hotel chains I’ve been at recently were cheaper, cleaner and free coffee

This hotel is right by our favorite casino, Casino Fandango. When I called this hotel to book a room, I was quoted $853 for 2 nights, which is a joke as far as I am concerned. Thank you Travelocity. The walkability was great to our casino of choice. However, this hotel doesn't even have a complimentary breakfast when other hotels that charge much lesser prices do. There was also a drawer in our room that never closed. You would shut it and it would open right back up.

Hotel comfortable with good spaces. Room cleaning was on request, requested 3 times during 10 day stay and only came once and only changed the towels, no cleaning or bin emptying etc. Staff mostly good except one who was very rude.

The check-in was horrible. I booked two rooms for one night, the front desk said that they only saw one room one night. I showed her my reservation confirmation email. She said this was not their problem, and I should contact Expedia. I tried very hard to find the customer service number for expedia, however nobody was answering the phone call. After spending over half an hour reaching out to both Marriott and Expedia, they finally found the other room for me. Horrible service by both Expedia and Marriott.

This stay was terrible, from check in to check out. At check in, they changed our room type to a much smaller room with smaller beds than what I booked (king bed). There was old moldy food still in the room refrigerator, light bulbs were out, the water was out the entire first morning without warning - when we called the front desk, they told us it would be out for maintenance and back on in five minutes. It was an hour, and when it came back on it was brown for another hour. We left the room and when we came back, our door was open. It was definitely closed when we left. They had not been in to clean; no one ever asked us about cleaning the room the entire stay, so we have no idea who was in our room or why. We definitely will not be staying here again.
