The room was really, really gross. Our daughter walked on the floor barefoot and her feet looked liked she walked through ash. There were holes and stains in the sheets & the AC unit was held up with wooden blocks. To top it off there was a domestic argument that lasted from 10pm-7am and we got no sleep. The pool was accessible, which is the only reason I’m adding an extra star. Would not recommend.

The facility was nestle in a very convenient and nice area from the Coliseum. The room was standard and the bed was very comfortable. The outside smelled of urine and the pool was green in color.

Pool was closed. No problem with that. A/C kept the room cool. The bathroom was not acceptable. We found hair in the tub and on the toilet. Used bar of soap above the shower rod. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Glad it was only for one night. Days Inn has gone down greatly. It was once my go to place to stay. I’ve been to a couple recently and they are bad now.

Not terrible but it was kind of run down, even though it was surrounded by some very nice hotels. We just needed aplace to sleep for a few hours because we were too tired to drive the rest of the way home. We had just spent the last 2 days in Norfolk and It had gotten late. The office was closed so they made us use outside window- I assume for their safety and it was COLD. As I was returning to my car, a man approached me and asked if I had stayed here before. I said no. He then told me to be careful as this area was known for drugs & drug related crime. He turned out to be Hampton PD detective.

The room was clean. I did not like that a lot of shady characters seemed to party in the parking lot. There was a large amount of clothing thrown in a parking space. They wouldn’t move when I tried to park and started walking to my truck door saying words that were not nice. Just don’t accept a room on the back side of the motel

My room was clean staff made the bed and chaged the towels each day.They do not allow pets. They have a coffee bar in the checkin and they have a coffee maker and microwave and fridge in the room. Elevator worked well. Hotel does not have any meal service buany restaurants in the area. Pool looked nice but I didn't seeanyone using it.

We checked in to the hotel, first thing you notice going to the rooms is the cockroaches running around in front of the rooms. When you get into the room, the sheets were filthy, we do not think they were changed from previous guests. When our kids took their shoes/socks off, their feet immediately turned black after walking on the floor inside of the room. It was the dirtiest, most unsanitary hotel room we had ever seen and we booked 2 rooms and immediately checked out. The first thing about the room noticed was the sheets and I let the front desk person know. He gave me a huge trash bag to lug myself to the room to replace the sheets. But at that point I was worried for my toddlers well being by how dirty the room was so I went to him again and told him we wanted to leave & being that we were only there an hour, I was expecting a refund for the horrifying conditions. He was rude, unprofessional and told me “it’s not fair” because I was there for an hour. We didn’t even use the bathroom or let our kids down, & we weren’t there the hour. We checked in, went to have dinner and came back to see everything. Worst experience ever. The pictures online are deceiving. It does not look like that at all, inside or out.

The room overall was clean, however, the shower didn’t work and the air-conditioning heating unit did not work. I understand the building is still going through renovations for moving permits, previous location. But this was unacceptable. I made do with what I had. Only half of the cable television stations worked with the other half being satellite static so I just use the room for the bare minimum. Plus my door was difficult to open anytime I entered my room. I don’t know if I’ll be staying at this location. The next time I’m coming through.

This hotel is in a prime location near the Hampton Coliseum, that being said there are a few issues that need addressing, one urgently! I had read reviews about bugs, but stayed 2 nights and had not encountered any until I read the review, then they came out of nowhere!! Even on the bed which I'm so glad I didn't see until check out day. Unacceptable!! The other issues are with the Internet service, many customers complaining about not being able to connect, and you have to keep connecting seemed like every hour and speed was just not there. The cable TV service is less than desirable, with a lot of stations receiving spotty service or not available. The children's stations/comedy shows seemed to work fine, but not for me.

The location was good, just off the main road and close to a lot of things. As I went to sleep early each night, I heard my next door neighbor's TV as if it were in my room and everyone who walked by my door. Two of my hangers were unusable because they wouldn't come off the anti-theft device. It also seemed like only half the hotel was in use.

The tv was scrambled. Couldn't really watch tv. The lights kept flickering and then they completely stopped working. They came back on eventually. There was a dirty towel behind the bathroom door. There was also bugs in the bathroom. I went to the front desk around 10:30pm because my key wasn't working. The just took the key rekeyed it..he never ask for any information, no id or anything. I could've been a random person with an old key, and he just rekeyed it. Very unsafe. I couldn't sleep. I was scared. I won't go back there anymore. I want a refund!!

I was late for my check in due to driving 14 hours to get there. They never called me to tell me that they were canceling my reservation. I ended up having to pay double to re-register and have a place to stay. When we got our key card and were finally going to our room, there was someone sleeping in our room!! I was so scared and we absolutely scared the person sleeping in our room. We went to the front desk and the person nonchalantly said oh the room must be double booked. I was livid and demanded my money back. I felt so bad for the person that was already sleeping in the room. We scared him to death coming in his room in the middle of the night. What if he thought he was getting robbed and attacked us or worse yet shot at us? So unbelievably unsafe. They should be reported and shut down. The rooms look nothing like the pictures online and Expedia should take them down. I never did receive my refund. I’m still hopeful that I’ll get it! The hotel or shall I say the motel said that Expedia would be the one that had to issued the refund. This is absolutely a terrible place. You should spend the extra, but will actually save you money in the long run, on an Airbnb. I’m disappointed in Expedia and never go to this hotel.

Days Inn doesn't seem to care if a customer has been charged for a service that they did not provide. It took several phone calls to them and Hotels.com. Finally I contacted my credit card company. After 7 days the charge was gone. Not sure if they took care of it or if my credit card company did.

Our recent stay was, to put it mildly, an exercise in patience and low expectations. From the moment we arrived, the front desk experience set a concerning tone. The initial desk agent was dismissive and uninterested, barely acknowledging our presence. This lack of engagement continued with the subsequent employee; neither seemed inclined to assist the considerably long line of waiting guests. Our first attempt to address an issue – a scorching hot refrigerator, a concern we tried to report via phone within their stipulated 15-minute window with no success – required another trek back to the desk. When the new shift finally took over, the replacement agent, while addressing us, unfortunately chose to badmouth her predecessor, which was entirely unprofessional and unhelpful. The "service" continued at a glacial pace, a recurring theme throughout our stay. As for breakfast, it was largely non-existent, offering little more than hot water and a few granola bars. Upon finally receiving a replacement for our faulty fridge, we discovered the towels provided were notably stained. Our neighbors, whom we met due to shared frustrations, were dealing with a non-functional toilet. To top it all off, the bottom of our room door was broken, preventing it from closing properly. Frankly, we're relieved we spent so little time in the room. The overall experience was truly abysmal.

When the new shift finally took over, the replacement agent, while addressing us, unfortunately chose to badmouth her predecessor, which was entirely unprofessional and unhelpful. The "service" continued at a glacial pace, a recurring theme throughout our stay. As for breakfast, it was largely non-existent, offering little more than hot water and a few granola bars. Upon finally receiving a replacement for our faulty fridge, we discovered the towels provided were notably stained. Our neighbors, whom we met due to shared frustrations, were dealing with a non-functional toilet. To top it all off, the bottom of our room door was broken, preventing it from closing properly. Frankly, we're relieved we spent so little time in the room. The overall experience was truly abysmal.

Unfortunately, the room was non-smoking, but smelled of cigarette. Sadly, this is typical, so Days Inn is not unique. The area was semi-safe, so be "street-smart" (i.e. maintain your situational awareness). Price and location were EXCELLENT! it was a 9 minute walk to the Convention Center. The Staff was also helpful and professional.

The room was clean. I did not like that a lot of shady characters seemed to party in the parking lot. There was a large amount of clothing thrown in a parking space. They wouldn’t move when I tried to park and started walking to my truck door saying words that were not nice. Just don’t accept a room on the back side of the motel

The rooms really aren't anything special. Water pressure in the shower wasn't very good and the pillows Don't really have much in them. The beds were clean, so that was fine. Nice and helped us get what we needed promptly. Definitely get what you pay for type of deal. There's a ridiculous selection of restaurants around the area.

My room was clean staff made the bed and chaged the towels each day.They do not allow pets. They have a coffee bar in the checkin and they have a coffee maker and microwave and fridge in the room. Elevator worked well. Hotel does not have any meal service buany restaurants in the area. Pool looked nice but I didn't seeanyone using it.

Our stay was 3 weeks, Room was clean, beds were comfortable, decent pillows, after a week beeing there we had to ask them to finally change the linens, had to ask several times for fresh towels, room was not cleaned daily. People were friendly and accommodating when we asked for things like linens and towels. Breakfast needs some work, same everyday, limited selection for sure. Stayed there several years earlier, Quality and service was much better then.

Saw roaches in the bathroom within 5 minutes of arrival. No phone or coffee maker in room as stated on line. Never got housekeeping service at all. No breakfast on Thanksgiving morning, just coffee. Very disappointed in this hotel!

I would give zero stars if I could. I was initially given a dirty room, and the staff seemed completely unconcerned. They moved me to another room, only for me to find that the sheets were dirty as well. At that point, I didn’t feel comfortable staying, so I left and booked a room elsewhere. It was a complete waste of money and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here.
