Cozumel Palace-All Inclusive

Was disappointed no beach. The staff was excellent. The gym was new and clean. The rooms and common areas very clean. The spa wasn't great. No relaxation area and noisy treatment rooms.

The staff was the best we’ve had at any all-inclusive resort. Snorkeling right at the resort was convenient and saw many underwater species. Did not miss having a sandy beach.

The resort was spotless. Everything was modern, food was excellent! There is no beach. However the amenities make up for it. I rate this place a 10 out of 10.

Everything was great about this hotel. It is about 5 min cab drive from the ferry. Very clean, the stuff is amazing, fast and very polite, entertainment is good. We found that food is very tasty. Lots of healthy options! The buffer is inside ( I was happy about it). The coffee shop is good. The drinks are not bad as well. There is no beach, but it is a waterfront and you can swim using a ladder. The water was beautiful and we snorkeled every day. The AC in the room worked well. I used the gym for the first day. It is a nice facility. It was closed for the remaining of my trip( renovation?), but I was able to run outside early in the morning . Felt like a very safe island. Cozumel is beautiful and we have zero complaints about this resort. Thank you

We like smaller resorts. There is no beach, but you can go swimming off the dock which we did every day. We snorkeled off the dock and saw quite a few fish. The pool is well kept with plenty of loungers. The food was decent and the staff is incredible. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The property is located on a busy street close to downtown. We found it to be quiet and pleasant regardless of the location. The food was good. The staff is great. Their VIP is confusing VS misleading. We were adamant in refusing any sales speech to join their "ownership" program and were left alone. Although it is ocean side, there is no beach but access to the water. We will return

This resort was absolutely amazing! From the welcome refresher drink at check-in to making us feel like family the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to every request. The resort itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. We loved the snorkeling and paddleboarding options—snorkeling right off the dock, we saw incredible fish! Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

(The coffee shop with sweets and treats was such a fun option! We loved it!) We also loved the surprise chocolates each night before bed. Do know - there is no beach at this property. But access to water sports is part of the all-inclusive price. We checked out life jackets, snorkel gear, and even a paddle board to enjoy the ocean. (Climb down one of the two ladders and you’re splashing around in turquoise, clear blue water!) If we return to Cozumel in the future, we’ll definitely book this resort again.

The problem with the property is that there are not enough chairs around the poo. People would place items on chairs and then leave them for HOURS such that others had no chairs.

Great experience in every aspect. Access to the sea amazing, room with ocean view fantastic, fitness area brand new, and the restaurant level at the top, including a fantastic thanksgiving dinner! Best place I have been for 3 years in North America

The balcony views are beautiful. Our room overlooked the dock area and was very quiet. My only concern about the entire property was the tile. The wet tile was very slick, and 100% of the indoor and outdoor floor was tile. Be careful.

This property had been closed to remodeling. They were not ready to be opened. We spoke to many members and they agreed. There is a facebook page where you can see what the members are saying. Lots of open wires. No phone in elevators. No chairs on ocean front units… so the view couldn’t even be enjoyed. Bathroom by pool was not open, so you had to walk through hotel. Arranged for ride back to airport and was not provided all information needed. Staff was pleasant but not to helpful as it wasn’t their fault things were not ready. We requested King bed and got 2 full. We were told that was a request not a guarantee. Not a good first impression of Palace Resorts!!!!

Resort very clean. Staff very polite and helpful. All amenities are CHI. They even have a CHI straightener to use. Only thing I wish they had was ceiling fans. We walked across the street to Chadrauri. Not sure I spelled that correctly, but they had everything we needed.

This was our 7th stay here. 2 years ago we kinda thought it was getting outdated but we were delighted with this stay to see everything prefect and fully remodeled! Even better than before! Very clean and very nice again! Best resort in Cozumel and we’ve seen them all! Only 1 negative is the staff trying to sell you packages and time share stuff. Very annoying as they try to hit you up everyday so just walk away from them fast or they will try to steal your vacation time with many words. The hotel has a great area to snorkel right off the deck and the water is perfect! If you need a sandy beach you can catch a quick can ride down but the water snorkel area at this resort is the best! Staff provided sweet anniversary and birthday surprise! There is a nice gym inside, a little gift shop with all your little needs, plenty of food options that are all good, full size lotion, shampoo and conditioner, nice robes and house shoes you name it it’s there!

They are remodeling the hotel , it’s very nice but still some construction noise, we had a great time at the pool the only downfall the night before we were leaving we ate at the Japanese restaurant, my brother and his wife they got really ill , the had food poisoning from a shrimp dish !

The hotel staff is great! The drink service around the pool is very good! The opportunity for improvement is an upgrade to the beds. Ours was sinking in the center. Otherwise we had an amazing week and loved the pool! Thanks Palace staff!

This hotel is beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable. The food was good and the staff was even better. Accommodating, friendly, answered questions and very attentive. The pool was fantastic. The only down side is that there is no sand beach access to the ocean, but that is nothing the hotel has control over. Great property. Will be back!

The palace was beautiful, clean and had the best staff. The food was on par with the the other palace resorts and the small size helped with crowds. We went snorkeling 2-3 times a day and always saw something new. My 15 year old did his first scuba lesson, highly recommend. It was a magical place.

Pros are the location Cons are the slippery tile floors (saw too many people fall and get hurt badly), doesn’t have a dinner buffet, and it didn’t have an adult only pool.

This place was absolutely amazing. It’s conveniently located walkable to the main town and the amenities of the hotel are fantastic every single person that works there is so friendly, but specifically we would like to acknowledge Mayra- coffee bar Angel - coffee bar Victoria - food server at Italian restaurant The beds were very comfortable, the view was like no other just spectacular and the room had a large jacuzzi style tub that you could enjoy while looking out at the beautiful view of the ocean. Thank you to the Palace and all the staff for the most wonderful experience.

I am sad to write this since we stayed there 10 years ago and had the most amazing experience. We booked an "ocean view" room through Expedia. There are about 8 rooms on the first floor that DO NOT match the pictures shown on Expedia for these rooms. Mainly there is no useable balcony as they are on the ground level overlooking the pool area. There is a door with approximately 2' to the rail. Not the balcony with hammock as pictured. We requested a change and were told we needed to upgrade to an "ocean front room". Note the listings above: "ocean view" and "ocean front" are pictured as the exact same room.... My mistake was paying the $450 upgrade assuming I could work it out with the hotel or Expedia the next day. I notified the hotel management through expedia the next day and throughout the trip was not able to get any resolution. The whole thing felt like a scam. I was told through emails with management to speak with an agent at the guest service desk, and was given a name. This agent then proceeded to play dumb. We are still working to resolve this through Expedia. Disappointed in the hotel and Expedia for allowing that listing to remain as is. Also mad at myself for not paying attention to the similar reviews I read before booking. Read them There is also constant harassment to attend a timeshare presentation for resort credit that you cant use. Very annoying and a new development. The service staff outside of the front desk area are great however.

My husband and I just returned from a short stay at the Palace (our first). We liked that it was a smaller all inclusive and chose it based on the reviews. Thankfully it was not a busy weekend. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very guest centered. They almost anticipate a need and are ready to help at any moment. The room (3rd floor) was wonderful and the bed slept so well we decided we need a new mattress at home. Had one issue with the toilet early one morning and it was fixed within 10 minutes. Housekeeping was amazing. The food was good for the most part. We really enjoyed the Pan-American restaurant (didn’t visit the other restaurants except for the buffet and room service ). The drinks are delicious but I suspect a little watered down. I read in a previous review that stated if you go with no expectations, you will enjoy it and I agree. I’m guessing that if you are reading Trip Advisor reviews, you are attempting to wisely spend your vacation funds. We loved it here and felt that it was well worth the money. The most impressive thing here is the staff. They are hands down phenomenal and worthy of generous tips. Most of the other guests were middle to late aged with some younger families sprinkled in. It is a quieter resort for those seeking relaxation not 24/7 entertainment. We took a private Jeep tour (not booked through the hotel) and enjoyed getting to see the rest of the island.

Room was very nice. But construction was going on right outside my window so it obstructed the view. Also I was on this trip as a single person and the room had a Jacuzzi tub for 2 so I wasn’t able to use the Jacuzzi.

I did not get what I pay for. I pay for a room with two beds and ocean view and I got only one bed room on first floor without ocean view.

Everything about our stay was amazing! I wanted to mention a few staff members that stood out and helped make this trip even more memorable. Julio who sat us down our first day and got us set up with any information we needed during that time. Naomi and Jairo who walk around the pool area to make sure guests are okay and seeing if anything is needed. Fernando and Charlie from the entertainment staff who lead activities including our favorite, water volleyball. Alexander the waiter was very attentive and personable. Martha the hostess at Flamingo’s always had a smile on her face and made us feel so welcomed. And lastly, Miguel and Harry who served coffee and cleaned up during breakfast. I want to acknowledge all of their hard work and thank them for helping make our trip even more special. Food was great, accommodation was great. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back in the future.

Nice location. Food was good. Some staff continue to push for a 1.5 hr time share pitch even after we initially denied and continued to deny.

Intense, relentless sales pressure is not what I desired on vacation. I completely understand away from the property because people are trying to make a living. I’m not sure how “I do not want to participate in a time share” meeting translates but I do know that “no” translates! I did not appreciate being approached while waiting to eat, in the morning before I get out of bed, or as soon as I walk through the door after a long day. We travel Internationally a lot- over 10 countries this year… I will never stay at one of these properties again! In all fairness, the hotel staff was exceptional, professional, attentive, and courteous!

The staff is invested in your comfort and elevated experience. They are the reason I came back again this year, and my decision to stay at The Cozumel Palace was a no brainer.

This is our second time staying at the Cozumel Palace in 8 months! We love it here. The hotel has been recently remodeled and is better than ever. Food, drinks, service, etc. You can't go wrong. The kids playroom is so helpful and the entertainment staff does a great job. It did seem like some of the servers were possibly training, at each restaurant there seemed to be at least one server who was not as good as the others. (forgot food, took too long, etc) Otherwise, it was Amazing! Special shout outs go to; the Playroom staff- Dianne, Leslie and Yara for keeping our kids fully entertained and having the best trip ever! Server Alan, who is always smiling and helpful! Entertainment staff- Fernando, who is happy and entertaining to all. Server at MoMo- Elizabeth (hoping that's right) who provided us the most wonderful dinner experience. Spa Staff- Luz, who provided the most relaxing massage Everyone with Room Service and Housekeeping The Tequila Shot Band, who were Incredible! And the gentleman in Concierge, who are always eager to help. We appreciate ALL of you! Things we didn't love; the new restaurant reservation system, added unnecessary stress and planning to a vacation. The front desk staff could have been more helpful. Hard to even see them smile, which was an odd vibe. Overall we LOVE this property and definitely recommend to anyone.

Cozumel Palace is visually nice. The staff (up front) are all trying to get over on people. Once you walk in they greet you, hand you a drink and carnation then as soon as you get to check in they tell you about how you are in a category and that you can upgrade for only $95 (they fail to say a night). We got into our room (that was booked online a month in advance) and it’s the very first room on the ground floor. The room didn’t look very clean and it just so happened to be a handy capable room. This would have been great if we needed it but that was not the case. When we went to the front to ask for a different room, they were very rude and said they had nothing for us. We were not happy and let them know we did not want to stay in that room. All of a sudden they had something, but wanted us to pay an additional $380 to move up.

The staff at the Cozumel Palace is first class!

Great location, walked to shop at Senor Frogs. Food at all the restaurants was excellent, room service was quick and just as delicious. Room was really comfortable, pool is large and not packed. Loved this place, became one of my favorites.

Snorkeling area, paddle boarding and kayaks available. 2 pools with plenty of lounges facing pool or ocean, with or without shade and with attentive service. Entertainment was great, with Mayan show, aerial/aqua show and fire show the nights I was there. Friendliness of staff was great!

Very nice place to stay in Cozumel. Close to the city, walking around, beaches nearby, snorkeling was fun, and very relaxed atmosphere. Great latte at the coffee bar too.

Great staff, service, and location.

From the minute you step into the lobby until you leave, the team is so welcoming! The food was great, adult beverages were amazing. Snorkeling and paddle boards are a part of the all inclusive package. Only negative is that there is not a beach, but you can rent a car and drive less than 20 minutes to a beach.

It has been updated and very nice. All the staff is wonderful. Perfect location for walking to town. Food is what you’d expect for all inclusive. Yes we would go again.

It took us a day or two to adjust to how compact this resort is, but in the end we loved it and enjoyed it a lot. The coffee shop in the lobby is amazing—real coffees made to order, crepes made to order, and amazing pastries and macaroons, etc. all included. The restaurants were good but not “stellar”. We liked the Italian one the best. Mono the Asian one was the weakest for us—everything looked pretty but it was like the chefs made it look like the pictures but had never actually tasted the real thing—which is understandable because it’s in Mexico of course! The service was outstanding and prompt, waiters steady at the poll, quick room service, nice turn down service. Our favorite employees were Paola, a waitress at Flamingo’s who also recognized us at room service, and Ivan the head waiter of the Italian restaurant, who was warm friendly and took great pride in “his” restaurant. Every company should want employees like these. The other big learning is the rhythm at the pool. Mornings are quiet and laid back, not crowded even though lots of people reserve their chairs. (I don’t know why hotels all over the world continue to just allow this—it really sucks.) in the afternoons, the pool area gets more active and crowded, with music and DJ’s and activities. Morning volleyball is really fun and usually has 6-10 people playing. Afternoon volleyball will seriously have 40 people playing. It’s a wonder the ball ever touches the water! It is a little cheesy but a fun activity.

Same dinner menu outside got boring every night.

Gorgeous property with wonderful staff. Our room was large and very clean with a super comfy bed. Food at all the restaurants was amazing, especially liked the Indian restaurant. Pool side lunch menu was just ok. Lobby bar and sweet shop were our favorites! Espresso martinis at lobby bar were delicious!! Special shout out to Fernando on the activity team, Jennifer and Jorge pool/lunch/breakfast servers. Also, the housecleaning staff were the best we’ve ever had! Our only disappointment was that there was only one outdoor dining options. The Italian, Mexican, Indian and Asian restaurants were all indoors. We love to dine outside in the warm evenings with the sea breeze. We knew there was no beach which we did miss however the snorkeling right in front of the property was fantastic!!

Breakfast was really good, food after that is subpar, food quality has suffered. And the Micheal Jackson show is no more, which was a great highlight, sad to see it go. Service was great as always, the staff did their best with what they had.

Great resort to relax. Food is above average compared to other resorts. Not a lot to do besides eat, drink and hang by the pool. Not a lot of socializing. Skip out on Momo, the Japanese restaurant, the rest were great.

We love Palace Cozumel. Clean, awesome staff, SPECTACULAR food (italian restaurant notwithstanding), perfect location. Can’t wait to go again!

Beach: There is no actual beach with sand, but the water was pretty. You can enter the water using the stairs & there is free snorkel equipment you can use to go snorkeling which we did. There are showers to rinse off afterwards too. Food: Delicious! We were very impressed. There are three spaces for restaurants & one of them rotates for dinner between Sushi & Indian. The others are Mexican (our favorite) & Italian. Pools: The two pools were kept clean. Fresh towels were always available. Bartenders were friendly & service was good. Rooms: We stayed in 211 & loved it. The jacuzzi was a nice bonus even though the jets didn't work. The sunsets were gorgeous! We loved the balcony hammock & the room itself was spacious with many areas to lay out your luggage. Room also came with a safe, iron, ironing board and stocked fridge (water, beer, soda). Lighting was good. Gift Shop: Overpriced like most resorts. Grounds: Well kept & clean. Did not see trash which was nice. We felt safe the entire time we were there. Great location about a 10 minute drive to the airport & walking distance to shops. Staff: So friendly! Anytime a staff member walked by us in the hallways they always said hello. They cleaned our room daily & provided fresh towels in the evening. They were accommodating & helpful. Overall it was a terrific stay!! Just be aware about the potential persuasion to buy a timeshare or listen to a 90 minute presentation & remember you can always say no and move on.

The dining options and quality of food were great. We enjoyed the flexibility of the buffet. It should be stressed more at check in, or booking even, the need for restaurant reservations. It is more of a necessity than a recommendation. The resort app was easy to use and worked well for room service and mini bar refills. The bell staff were always friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job. For evening entertainment, the Tequila Shot Band was excellent!
