I stayed with my 2 sisters for 4 nights with the all-inclusive option. We had an amazing time. The food was delicious. There was a breakfast buffet, a lunch snack bar, and 2 dining options. We were very satisfied with all options and the quality of the food. We used the AMSTAR representative, named Banner, to book excursions. He made everything super easy. The snorkeling at the property was AMAZING and so pretty. We used the free daily kayak and snorkeling daily. We will be back.

A very nice first stay at this hotel. Out third trip overall to Cozumel. We took the all inclusive option because we knew we’d be eating the majority of our meals at the hotel. Three good options for food, our favorite being Cuzamil restaurant. The lava cake dessert is amazing. Good lagoon and great snorkeling at this resort. Taxis were always accessible and waiting out front when we wanted to go and shop in town. Our servers Alex and Efren were amazing and made this such a great stay. I do note the musty smell in the lobby a bit, due to the humidity One suggestion I would have is the hotel needs maybe 10 more umbrellas outside for patrons. There were around 10 or so but the property needs 20. All in all a great stay though

Enjoy the beach area and snorkeling . Beautiful sea life . The pool on the roof for adults was amazing refreshing and very clean and quiet . Will be back 2 nd time staying here . Friendly staff also .

Very nice hotel, quite and tranquil, and very clean. The staff provided outstanding services. The beach is nice but a little small and can get crowded at times. The beach has a lot of rocks and is not easy to walk on. However, other wonderful beaches are a short walk north. The gym is a little small and the hotel does not have bicycles for guests, like other hotels do.

The resort is clean and has good snorkeling area in front of the Gaviotas restaurant. The water is so clear, and we really enjoyed our daily breakfast included in our stay. Special thanks to the wonderful staff in the Gaviotas. We had a corner balcony room on the 8th floor and it was so beautiful and we spent a lot of time there watching sunsets. The Sky Lounge is fabulous. You have to see it! Some opportunities for improvement - the beach area is lacking shade options. There were only 3 umbrellas in the beach and the sun is really strong. A few palm trees offer shade but not enough. Thanks again!

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Always Going out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. This is a small quiet resort, which we liked, because we have 2 little kids. The food was decent. Never seemed to come out hot. And quality was lacking. But the service made up for it. The drinks were strong. There was plenty to do from snorkeling, kayaking, playing in the little waves. They have a hut with services right there on the property to book sailing, jet skis, scuba, etc… Very disappointed the pools are not heated and are VERY cold. No one was in the pools except some kids. There are also no hot tubs. The adults only pool upstairs has great views but was underwhelming. Not very clean and pool was freezing. We used the kids club for a few hours per day but there is not much structure or activities. It’s also a pretty small room and no outside area. They don’t provide water bottles or snacks for the kids which we found surprising. We used to spa, we did a couples massage. We loved this. The staff was amazing, the massage was fantastic and then a private bath with mimosas on the balcony. All in all we had a great stay, but next time would look for somewhere with heated pools, hot tubs, and a better food selection/quality.

Room was not cleaned more than a couple times during our 6 day stay. Beach chairs were not available for everyone promoting actual verbal altercations between guests that the resort did nothing about. Beach towels required a card each time and they never had towels.

The ocean view was great from the 6th floor and the room was clean and stocked. Snorkeling right off the property is great and somewhat addicting. The staff is friendly and hard hard working: Alex at the snack bar kept us fed and hydrated and was very available and attentive. Vicky, also at the snack bar has a great personality and treated us well. Rosendo and dinner is very professional and provides top notch service. I can't say enough about the entire staff as they are all very helpful and friendly. Areas for improvement was the pool as it had debri and was not kept clean during the day. The barking pets was something I could do without.

This hotel was nothing special. The food was not great, the drinks were terrible. And FOUR times, housekeeping came and cleaned my room and left 0 towels. Took all the dirty ones and didn't replace them. It was bizarre. And then I called the "service express" number and no one answered. Literally 4 days out of 6. I won't be back.

We stayed here about three years ago, and the property was immaculate. Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. However, the property’s upkeep has deteriorated significantly since then. The bathroom tiles are missing, and the pool is dirty. It doesn’t feel the same quality as when we first stayed here.

Our stay was wonderful. Always room on beach to sit and enjoy the beach. Room clean and comfortable. Views awesome from waterfront balcony. Only issue is you can hear talking, noise from adjoining room. Not very good insulation.

Rooms are very, very nice, view from the rooms is excellent and staff is really friendly. Beds are AMAZING. There's an actual stretch of sandy beach and snorkelling in front of the hotel is very nice. There is a problem with smell in the lobby. It's not bad, but you can tell they're trying to fight it. We tried only the breakfast buffet which is OK, we didn't stay for dinner in the hotel, there are very good options right across the street.

There's an actual stretch of sandy beach and snorkelling in front of the hotel is very nice. There is a problem with smell in the lobby. It's not bad, but you can tell they're trying to fight it. Worst Westin I have stayed. Not worth the money at all, shouldn’t be a four star hotel. Lights broken, dirty bedsheet, AC not functioning properly(cannot adjust the temperature, either freezing cold, or turn it off), took forever for the staff to come fix all the issues, plenty of empty rooms still refuse to change a room for me. I stayed two nights, the light bulb got replaced on the second day, AC problem was not fixed at all.

El servicio es excelente, muy atentos, al pendiente y amables, Javier, Elena en la recepción, Paloma, Belem y todos meseros son espectaculares, atentos y serviciales y Virginia en el bar de la Playa es lo máximo. Gracias por hacernos sentir como en casa.

Food always took a long time to get, came out cold and very bland. Had the all-inclusive package maybe that was the reason. Bought a bottle of wine for dinner one night, got a call on the phone when my wife and I were in bed saying I had to pay cash. That night, and the server was coming up to the room. Went down to the desk asked for a hold for charged room account. Hotel put $577.81 on hold on credit card. Paid off account at check out, hotel still kept $577.81. 10 days later and calling hotel 3 times still will not release money. Worst hotel experience in my life, I'm 63 years old.

We stayed at the Weston for a week with the all inclusive package. Overall, it was a good experience but we wouldn’t go back. Most of the staff was very friendly and the facility is clean. The food is good, but there are only two restaurants and a snack bar/grill near the pool, so there are not a lot of options. Even though we had all inclusive, we literally had to sign a bill after every meal, every drink, everything. We had to consistently sit there and wait for the waiter to bring the zero sum bill so we could leave. One time we got sick of waiting and just left, only to be chased down by the waiter for us to sign a bill with a zero balance. In the morning there is one place to get coffee and it’s across the property in a separate building. It’s the same place that they’re serving the breakfast buffet. We took a breakfast pastry a few mornings to take back to our room with coffee, only to be eventually told that we couldn’t do that. Lastly, there is no entertainment. No evening shows, yard games, music around the pool, nothing. If you like to do more than lay in the sun and drink, it’s easy to get bored. The snorkeling is good right off the shore, so that was nice. Again, overall it was good but I’ve been to many other all inclusive a that are much better.

The hotel is shown as all-inclusive on Expedia. I was told upon arrival that all-inclusive was an option for an additional charge of 96pp per night. We paid the fee but were still required to sign and add a tip after every meal (why else would we be asked to sign the bill - it's all-inclusive, it must be for the tip, no?). At checkout, my final bill showed an additional daily charge added for tips each day. This should have been disclosed upfront. The location is too far from the main area. There's nothing to do around the hotel or at the hotel other than lounge around the pool or go to the spa. The best local amenity is the Key Lime Pie Factory across the street - the best pie ever! Online mentions that this is a dive hotel. Two guys in a booth by the water arranging dives does not constitute a dive hotel. You can rent equipment but the equipment doesn't work. I was given a faulty BCD - the only use it provided was to hold the tank. There are no lockers and no tups of freshwater to rinse equipment. It is very clean, with good service but has limited food selection (except at breakfast) and is a bit boring.

This property is our favorite place to stay in Cozumel. The beds are super comfy, the place is very clean and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. If you go to the restaurant by the water, ask for Margarita. She’s the best!!!!

The Westin is a very nice hotel. Clean and quiet we walked across the street and had the most amazing grilled lobster and key lime pie. Beach small but beautiful water and snorkelling. No entertainment as it’s a hotel. Food options limited ( again it’s a hotel ) but the food we did eat was good. Only a 10 minute drive from downtown by taxi.

It was very easy to take a cab to town but far enough away it was quiet and private beach. Loved the restaurant on the water. There was also an italian place to eat at the hotel. If you like key lime pie there is a place across the street. The spa was amazing with the sauna and steam room- we loved the couples massage and treatments. we wish the pool could have been heated or a hot tub somewhere because we had little or no sun during our stay but that was the only complaint. Would visit again. The snorkeling was ok, it is a good place to snorkel but nothing amazing if you are a novice snorkeler.

I enjoyed staying here. The beach was just right downstairs. Made it easy and convenient. It was never crowded. They had a hut set up at the beach for you to easily book excursions and other activities. Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. My only two complaints would be the cleanliness of the room and the fact you can literally hear into the room beside you.

Rooms are very, very nice, view from the rooms is excellent and staff is really friendly. Beds are AMAZING. There's an actual stretch of sandy beach and snorkelling in front of the hotel is very nice. There is a problem with smell in the lobby. It's not bad, but you can tell they're trying to fight it. We tried only the breakfast buffet which is OK, we didn't stay for dinner in the hotel, there are very good options right across the street.

Absolutely beautiful property, amazing snorkeling and swimming right out front. All rooms have an ocean view which is gorgeous! Away from the hustle, but a close taxi ride if you want to go into town. Hotel is beautiful, beds comfortable and spacious rooms. Wish they had some entertainment at night it was a bit sleepy.

Great property on the water. All rooms face the water. It's what I would expect for a Marriott Westin. Great staff, clean property, gorgeous views. The food was a little redundant but of good quality. Would definitely recommend for families.

I had very high hopes for this property and it started off strong. The fish tacos and ceviche at Gaviotas restaurant were amazing. But entering the facility there was a strong sewage smell in the lobby. The beach was stunning and the staff pretty friendly. As my stay progressed it became apparent that the Westin has a lot of work to do in the areas of transparency when it comes to charges so a guest is not blindsided . The food at the cozumil restaurant was terrible, bland pizza and pasta.

We were very pleased with our all inclusive stay. We only wish there was some type of entertainment in the evenings. Our favorite meal was breakfast. The buffet was excellent ! I enjoyed a cook to order omelette all 4 days. The food at the pool area was also great!!

Yes, we were really dissapointed in the food this time around, the only thing good was Breakfast, the Main indoor eating area was only open every other night, they must have a new chef with different thoughts than ours on what choices there was to pick from.

From the insta-worthy rooftop pool, to the gorgeous ocean views from our room and chef’s incredible breakfast options, this place was breathtaking! Even with the temporary renovations underway. This trip we bounced around multiple cities but the snorkeling was by far the best at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

This trip we bounced around multiple cities but the snorkeling was by far the best at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

On the positive side, we stayed in a one-bedroom suite and the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked exceptionally well. The bathroom was huge. The extra half bath was nice to have. All of the staff was very accommodating to our requests. The food and service in the restaurant were both very good. We were on a diving trip, so we didn't use either of the pools, but they looked very nice. We could have done without the naked babies in the pool, but we weren't using the pool so no skin off our noses. The covered chaise lounges at the Sky Bar were a great place to read a book. On the not so positive side, a couple of days before we arrived, we received an email from the hotel stating that they were beginning renovations the day before we were to arrive. The email stated that the amenities would remain open. Not true. When we got there, we learned that one of the two restaurants was closed. We were also told that a Continental Breakfast would be available at 6:30 am. That was only true on the weekend. So, the value of the all-inclusive package we bought was significantly diminished.

Amazing stay. Amazing wait staff. Beautiful beach and rooftop pool. Food was overall good. Only negative was lack of clear instructions from front desk at check in providing information of the resort (where to obtain towels with card and where room was).
