Pool not open air conditioner didn't work properly no hot water and shower head kept falling off. Breakfast was horrible service was basically non existence. Toilet flushed only half the time one plunger for two hotels

Staff were available and friendly. Back door was not secured. Wouldn’t lock. Room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. There was an old coffee filter, fingerprints and lip marks on the mirror. People down the hall were smoking questionable herbs. Could have been vaping, but that too isn’t allowed in the building from what I read. Children were on my floor as well and subject to the odor.

Said there was a pool didn’t see one

While this property was convenient and affordable, you get what you pay for. I really wanted to like it because our checkin was great and the hotel staff were friendly. This was our second time staying here, and both times, the air quality of the heater was poor and the room was not clean. It looked like there had been things spilled on the floor with no attempt to clean. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was also not ideal. The treadmill and the bike in the workout room did not work. The outdated rooms didn’t bother me as much, and the beds were comfortable.

We checked in on Tues night and had no hot water. After informing desk, a sign was posted but not hot water until 8pm on Fri night. Also on Thurs, elevator elevator went out and had to use stairs to get to our room for last 2 days. Staff had no care or concern for any needs. Breakfast food, especially breads were extremely stale.

They didn’t have a room ready for me, even though I had reserved and prepaid on February 9th and had the confirmation and receipt. They left to go to the next door property to work it out and took more than 15 minutes to do so. Finally, they got me a room. The property is very run down. We couldn’t even get the tv to work, just static. We were planning on doing laundry at the facility since we’d been on the road more than a week. We couldn’t even do that because the soap dispenser was out of order. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

The hotel looked like it was being closed for renovations and was not being maintained or staffed. The staff was always at the motel next door and had to be called back to this hotel when we had a question. The continental breakfast was plain toast with no toppings and tiny packages of Raisin Brand cereal. Nothing else to eat and nothing to drink. No plates either. The “included pool” was at the motel next door. So were all the working ice machines. The elevator service inspection certificate was 2 years out of date. The lobby and the hallways all smelled very strongly of marijuana.

Air conditioning unit was so loud we did not get much sleep. Carpet had stains and looked very dirty. There is no AC in the lobby or hallways. Staff was friendly.

Gal at front desk did her best. Overall not very clean. Old coffee left in room, no litebulb in bedside lamp. Pool was not useable, no ice available without going to hotel next door. Would not recommend. Also, elevator had no evidence of inspection for 2 years

Horrible experience. Room was extremely dirty. There was visible mold in the ceiling and the sheets smelled of vinegar.

The positive reviews and 7.8 rating for the hotel were really misleading! The room was very dirty, especially the bathroom. There was hair and dirt on the floor and a suspicious stain on the wall. The tub had mold and soap scum. There was only a half roll of toilet paper and no tissues. We had to go down to the front desk to ask for some toilet paper and the attendant said that they didn't have any and went to the Red Roof Inn across the parking lot to borrow some to give to us. The sleeping area had a strange smell and there were hairs (human and animal?) on the bedding as well as a suspicious brown stain and smell on one of the pillows. We truly weren't comfortable staying here and we are disappointed that the ratings and reviews were so different than the reality.

This was not a good stay. There was rarely anyone at the front desk. The breakfast was bare bones. Our room was literally covered in mold. The tv didn't work. It was awful.

The hallways smelt funky, there was hair in the bathroom shower that was not mine, and the cleanliness all around was just absolutely terrible. Would not stay there again.

My wife was getting my wheelchair out of my car When she opened up the back of my and hit a pothole and rolled her ankle. No one was in the lobby after she checked us in. Then, we get into our room with black mold all over the ceiling, a curtain that won't close because of the asphalt missing out of the parking lot. I try to get into the lobby, and I almost fell out of my wheelchair due to the main threshold of the main lobby door. In our room, (131)there were blood stains all over floor,the bathroom had dried up blood in the corner's by the door. We had a guy stare at us through our window at 2am, and I used my light at him. He left quick. Breakfast wasn't even done when they said it would be and no one to check out. Don't worry, I will NEVER SUGGEST TO USE THAT HOTEL. I BELIEVE THAT someone should put that money back on my (hotel's.com account) don't send me anything back. 😤

The only nice thing was the woman that checked us in. We go to Busch Gardens a lot and this trip was kind of last minute so options were limited. I thought i would give this place a try. Everything in the hotel was very dilapidated. It smelled very dank. The ac was loud and made weird noises. I killed a roach in the middle of the night when i turned the light on to use the bathroom. One of my daughters got a weird rash on her face, arms, and legs. I think it was from the bedding. The breakfast was a joke. There was warm milk and cereal in a container that was filthy! The juice machine only had water that smelled and the coffee was terrible! I paid in advance so i toughed it out instead of leaving for the second night. My kids are pretty easygoing so they didn't complain so that helped. When we left one of them asked if we were going to stay there again. All 4 of them stared at me waiting for my answer. I swiftly told them no. And also told them we were not staying it that area either. Its really ghetto there!

They tried to give me a king bed or a room with double beds with no television. When we told them we booked through Expedia magically they had a room that was supposed to be another guests room. When morning came around and we went to the Buffett breakfast. It only consisted of waffles, toast and Raisin Bran. If you are going to promote a Buffett breakfast I would kindly suggest having more options. After being out all day and visiting with our friend, we went up to our room and our keys were deactivated as well..

Room was slightly updated and clean. Water pressure in the shower was low. Air conditioning in room worked but couldn’t keep the room cool. There were times when there was no one at the front desk, but I needed help with my TV and my call was answered and a very nice woman helped me with it.

The 1st room smelled like an ash tray. The 2nd room they put us in wasn't as bad. I don't know what they clean with. But its strong ans stinks. The ac is really lound. That same night the smoke detector was beeping all night. Asked for them to change the battery. They said they didn't have a battery and took the smoke detector right out of the room. The only good about the stay is friendly staff and the bed was great. I will never stay again.

It turned out the person that does that is also managing the hotel next door and he runs between the two. I suggested he put a sign up. He was not apologetic. The first night the TV had no signal, and the gentleman working the front counter, came up and answer a few minutes was able to get it back online. The second night the exact same thing happened however, the person at the front desk never came to my room after I waited for an hour. So I had no TV that evening. And when I want to check out, I didn’t get a thank you for staying with us, hope you will come back, were there any issues, nothing other than a we got it The only bright spot was breakfast, which was pretty decent, and while the first day there was nobody with inside of breakfast the second day, the young lady attending to it was extremely polite. She took care of things, kept things, neat and clean and tidy. I was very impressed with her. It is she and the rest of the staff Does not have the same work ethic. Overall, based on my experience, this hotel was way over priced

Check in staff had horrible attitude. And he couldnt figure out how to access the expedia credit card to use the payment i made. First 2 keys he gave us didnt work. Whole hotel was hot woth no ac. The room ac was very loud and took forever to cool the room down.

The rooms need a major update. Everything was plugged in surge protectors. The tall lamp was behind the chair but couldn’t be plugged in. The fridge did not get cold and smelled old. The clock was on the floor under the nightstand . The tv is small. The beds were uncomfortable. There was an extremely strong smell of febreeze like they were trying to hide a smell. Not the best but not the worst place to stay

You cannot close the curtains. The water in the sink was very slow. Older style, but otherwise everything was good.

Housekeeping never emptied trash or brought clean towels. Seldom anyone available at the desk. Had to have room key reprogrammed everyday.

Yes. Front desk was unmanned quite a bit. Understand they also was responsible for the other hotel on the lot. Red Roof Inn.

We arrived to check in and there was no staff in the hotel. We called wvery bumber we could find and finally got someone at Comfort Inn customer support. I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes as they called around trying to find someone to assist us. (They were calling rhe hotel that i was standing in with no staff). We wnded up leaving to male the event we were scheduled to be at with the promise that they would have a supervisor call me. No one wver called me back. We did finally get checked in when the night shift employee came in to find that no employee had been there since the night before.

Upon arriving, there was a foul odor throughout the lobby area. Checkin was a breeze. After checkin, noone was there for any services. I waited multiple times for staff to show but noone ever showed. Pros Close proximity to Busch Gardens Cons Our beds were uncomfortable; water pressure was very low; there was brown water coming from the tub; the elevator was stuck on the first floor because it wouldnt close; leaking iron; no ironing board I will not be returning.

I was racially profiled while in the lobby of the hotel... Had to show id. Was asked my room number and was told it wasn't my room number.. bad customer service

Convenient to Fort Eustis.

The property was close to both Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. We found it easy to visit both locations from this motel.

Area is not as appealing and not much around...was not able to get a check-in prior to 3pm which was a bit depressing but room was clean and quiet. I definitely would consider staying again.

Room was nice. If you wanted something other than fast food you had to drive about 5 miles. Otherwise easy on and off freeway.

Pleasant Stay, clean and friendly service, Breakfast was OK, but was always the same food every Day, limited selection. Did not get my AARP discount when I extended my stay for an additional 3 days. I was told to contact Expedia but I had booked it thru Hotel’s.com. Disappointed with that.

I am surprised with how good the ratings were with this property that the experience was so poor. We had issues with the staff, when we asked what time breakfast was and when it was running and then we actually went down there wasn't any coffee cups, wasn't sugar but that worst part was when we asked if they were going to fill the waffle batter they said no even though there was 2 hours left of breakfast. And when I went to the front desk and asked for a towel and another bar of soap, the staff checked in with me three times and then told me that they would need to have housekeeping bring it up. The property was clean and about what you would expect but the staff and interaction with them along with the lacking breakfast definitely should lower their rating.

Front of toilet was dirty and there was a small cockroach behind the T.V. Breakfast selection was non existent. Bare minimum choice of waffles, mini muffin, or cereal. Low value and quality for too much money.
